Honestly, I think this is a case of “what do the writers need?” And I say that without any goggles. Even if Emma could feel Neal being alive, I’d still say “well that’s wonky” given Rumbelle’s situation and Snowing situation in the first half of the second season.

Jeez, that’s heavy stuff. Charming’s secret is probably something to do with Pan…. maybe he’ll get a visit too? PP seems to know a lot of things he shouldn’t…

    Right???

I can’t tell if they mean it’ll be a secret about Charming himself or a secret about something/someone else. I was thinking since he’s been under the sleeping curse he can communicate with Aurora (we saw them all sleeping in the sneak peek) and he finds out that Nealfire is alive. Only can’t think of a good reason for him to keep that a secret so I doubt it lol.

Whoa. Yeah I don’t know WHY he’d keep that a secret unless he wants Emma focused on Henry but as big a SF as I am, she’d still go after Henry not Nealfire.

I am totally taking off my shipping goggles. I want that known.

It make sense for Neal to go to NL eventually as his father and his son are there. AND Nealfire spent a TON of time in NL and he has history with the place. He should be there eventually.

Still with my shipping goggles off, there’s this:

The instinct of “can you tell if your TL is dead or not?” seems to be wonky:

    1) Charming COULD tell that Snow had eaten the apple

    2) Rumple COULD NOT tell that Belle was alive and locked away in Regina’s tower or in SB.

So…it seems to be an emotional thing and only works when the writers need it to. lol.

He really does want to be a hero, but he must overcome his belief that he’s a coward. He is frightened of Peter Pan, and Rumple will be tempted to let Henry die. It’s going to be an uphill battle. He thinks of himself as a coward just as Emma thinks of herself as a cynic. They’re both on self-journeys.

Well that just hit a lot of my feelings

Barbara says that the time he spent in Neverland before becoming the Dark One were some of the worst days of his life.

    There ya go, Lost Boy

Yet, Rumple knows magic since he taught Regina and Cora, who aren’t inherently magical, how to do magic. Just because he’s no longer the Dark One doesn’t mean he wouldn’t still have magic. The only way to kill the Dark One is to kill him with the dagger….This seems to be a bit of a spoiler where Barbara stopped and wouldn’t proceed.

Holy Smokes, we may be right. Undoing means breaking his curse.

I love how they keep dancing around the RH love interest. As if we don’t know it already.

he’s going to have a very big secret that’s going to be revealed to him, and only he knows. And this is will develop later on throughout the rest of the [first half of the season], but he’s going to find out something that is going to put his integrity into question, and he’ll be wrestling with how that works and what the consequences are for compromising his integrity. So yeah, he’s got a big secret,” Dallas said.

…..what in the name of sanity…..

    Was Charming a lost boy?

made it sound to me like we’re gonna get a reveal in 302 that he was in NL as a child.

Agreed. It seems heavily implied that Rumple had first hand knowledge of NL as a boy.

What I was envisioning was that the Belle that appears to Rumple would be his conscious, his inner self. So it’s sorta Belle but not really. She’s his center but his is also him having a conversation with himself, it just manifests as Belle.
