KeymasterI may or may not have just choked on my drink. How on Earth did I not know that?! Neal’s drink of choice is hot cocoa with cinnamon too?! Was it the same episode as when he was with Henry at Granny’s diner? When was that, “The Evil Queen?”
I’m actually fairly certain that it happened in Selfless Brave and True. I swear he asks Henry to go buy hot chocolate with cinnamon.

KeymasterDid I read this correctly–cinnamon bark? Who drinks hot chocolate with cinnamon? Emma and Henry!
I know!!!! And actually in one episode, Neal ordered Hot cocoa with cinnamon too. And Snow makes it for Emma.
And just like the mythical fire bird, SwanFire will rise from the ashes! Seriously, there’s too much symbolism there for it to just all be coincidence. They’re totally planting hints that tie their story together. THIS! Swanfire will rise from the ashes that is Tamara, the fallen palm tree. O____O
*holds up lighter* Sing it, slurpeez!

KeymasterWHAT DO YOU MEAN ENDING?! IT’S NEVER GOING TO END.
🙂
“They all live happily ever after” That’s my ending. Everyone is happy and settled in a giant castle where they all live together and nothing bad happens to them ever again.

KeymasterNo, I think you misunderstood her…she said, “It’s worse than I feared” referring to the fact that she couldn’t contact anyone.
I think Angie is right.

KeymasterI listen to that darn map nearly every day. It weasels itself into your brain until you find yourself singing it hours later while walking through the grocery store. Actually this is sort of playing back into “Jake and the Neverland Pirates”. Don’t they also have a map that they always consult?
Peter Pan is Swiper. We have to tell him no swiping.
Wwhy can’t Regina clear a path like she did in WL with the bushes? Are these the same bushes that like the ones in WL?
Probably different bushes. And because the WL episode was one 42 min episode where you needed all the action to happen in a set amount of time. This NL is taking us 11 episodes. You can’t just have Regina POOF the trees away or POOF Henry to her side. The arc would be over in an instant. You have to create watchable TV.

KeymasterFor SURE a parallel. They love ’em.
So will Emma do the same thing that Snow did with her offer from Regina and take the map and use it? Well Emma listen to Snow and PC when they tell what she should do? Well Emma go off by herself with the map? Is this when Regina teaches Emma magic so perhaps Emma can read the map?
In 301 Emma said something like, “what matters is succeeding.” She can’t take Snow and Charming’s way to of doing things because it’s not how Emma rolls. She just wants her son back and she’s going to do whatever it takes. I do not think Emma will go off on her own, but I do think Regina and Emma will work closer together than Emma will her parents. Which is going to gall them because they are “infuriatingly optimistic” as she said.

KeymasterI understand the Dora reference but I don’t know what they’re getting at.
Also…”thorny” situation. Do the trees and bushes of NL come to life or something?

KeymasterI’ve been thinking about Emma. She too tries to change her fate only to have something step in and direct her back to her rightful path. For example:
–101: Emma tries to leave SB after dropping off Henry with Regina. Course correction: Wolf runs out in front of her car.
–205: Emma and Neal are about to settle down for a life together. Course Correction: August (and probably THO) step in and convince Neal to let her go.
So far Emma’s fate is exactly what has been foretold: she’s the Savior, she came to SB on her 28th bday, and she broke the curse. But for every one of these, she had help:
1) Rumple made her the Savior by placing a drop of True Love from Snowing on the Curse
2) Henry brought her to SB
3) Henry *died* and Emma did TLK
So I think sometimes fate needs a little push to keep it going on the path it wants.

KeymasterMal’s my guess as well. She’s wasn’t under a sleeping curse but she is between life and death.
