KeymasterSo timeline wise…when is the newest photo of Bandit Snow? Because from the Evil Queen to An Apple as Red as Blood is at least a year possibly more if Belle had just come to live with Rumple in 219.

KeymasterI do think it’s just a sword lying around Gold’s shop, but I think it’s significant that Neal grabbed that sword, the pirate looking one. The fact that he knows how to wield a pirate sword might indicate that he’s used one before, IE: the one Hook is giving Emma.
Also, thanks Slurpeez for putting in the pic. Apparently Capser-Peeves hates me today.

KeymasterDaniel it will not let me embed images anymore. I’ve been in Visual and I’ve been in text and I’ve used BBcode and HTML and every time I try it takes me to the main OncePodcast page and doesn’t upload.

KeymasterOk. Forget it. You all what pic I’m talking about. Neal in Gold’s shop. With curvy pirate like sword. Whatever, I’ve tried to put in that photo maybe 10 times now. I give up.

AHHHHHH! I had this long post with pictures and Casper-Peeves ate it and AHHHHH!
Summary: this might be angle thing, straight on vs side shot, but the sword Emma is holding looks about as long as her arm in the twitpic. The “whatever” she is holding in the shot with Hook doesn’t look as long. But again, angle difference.
This is the sword Nealfire favored in The Miller’s Daughter and I remember back then we all speculated that it looked a lot like a pirate curvy sword and how that was evidence of being in NL and aboard the JR for some time.

KeymasterAt this point I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Hook’s fathers or Bae’s. I also wouldn’t be surprised if it was just a dagger Hook had lying around, being a Pirate and all. Is it Sept 29th yet?

KeymasterYou’re right, KFC, I shouldn’t have used the word stealing because Emma isn’t some prize to be won (to quote Princess Jasmine) she makes her own choices. Colin hurting his leg was a total bummer on the CaptainFire front because they were supposed to have scenes together to establish what kind of relationship Neal and Hook have nowadays. I popped over to the CS thread and they’ve been reading our posts too (hello CS’ers!) and someone made the observation of do Neal and Hook even have any kind of relationship because they spent a few days together on a boat and nothing more. And it’s been roughly 200 years since that. But I think the events of 222 show that they do: Hook turned the ship around because of Bae. There was a reason the camera showed Hook looking at the directions he had carved on to the JR with Bae all those years ago. I think Hook feels unbelievably guilty over what happened to Bae both then and now. The deleted scenes that made it on to the DVD are canon so Hook knows all about Tamara and her less than loving relationship with Nealfire. Saving Henry isn’t just for Emma to Hook, it’s about righting the wrong choices he made with Neal, mainly choosing his revenge over someone he wanted to raise as his son. I really need me some CaptainFire interaction post haste! I’m not saying that Hook’s relationship with Neal is strong enough to hinder him trying to make a play for Emma but I think it will weigh on him.

KeymasterWow. Totally forgot about that moment in That Still Small Voice where she tells Jiminy about Gepetto and his “challenges.” And yes, now that it has been pointed out that without Grumpy the Snowing story might have gone differently, it does look like Blue had the sight. (or someone has the sight if you’re a fan of “Blue is working for PP who can see the future”)

KeymasterCan fairies tell the future?
Hmmmmm. We’ve never seen any fairy tell the future, at least I don’t remember an instance of it. However, I wouldn’t put it past Blue.
