KeymasterAgreed! It makes the most sense. Hook won’t follow Rumple, Rumple won’t follow Hook. Snowing wouldn’t follow Regina, Regina wouldn’t follow Snowing. Rumple won’t follow Regina, Regina won’t follow Rumple, Snowing wouldn’t trust Rumple or Hook, Hook and Regina won’t trust each other.
Emma is the most neutral of everybody.
What an excellent way to put it!
Emma has ties to everyone—Snowing parents, she and Regina want the same thing, her budding friendship with Hook, and Rumple is like her slightly more cranky Dumbledore (before he leaves the ship…)[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterWow. What’s about funny about Emilie’s tweet about her favorite book right now, my boyfriend and I were just discussing 50 Shades of Gray because they cast the leads like a day ago and I mentioned that some lady did a study on the book.
What’s funny is that in the caption thread, whilst Belle was in hospital, she told Greg about the Harry Potter books.
Ha! Wouldn’t it be great if the cast read your magnificence?

KeymasterAgreed! The more I think about it and the more I remember stuff Adam and Eddy have said before, I think it’s very likely that ABC loves Hook and A and E like him very much but have always intended for Nealfire to be the endgame. But they recognize that there is potential for TV drama a la love triangle so CSF will happen.
Character development wise it would be really good for Hook to give up Emma. I’m not saying have his heart broken but to realize that he can’t steal another man’s love, especially when that man is Milah’s son. Hook doesn’t want to be the villain anymore and being able to recognize that Swanfire is TL and leave them be is a big step for him. Besides, I maintain that CaptainSwan will be much better as friends."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterThat’s sorta what I was thinking Phee: this is a moment where they connect over losing Nealfire by Hook giving Emma this dagger/sword thing that belonged to Bae.

KeymasterWhale could be the Wizard of Oz because Oz was really hinted at in 205 but I think that served two purposes:
1) obvious misdirect so people wouldn’t figure out that he was Frankenstein
2) in order to do Oz later, say season 4."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterWhile they could do the Ariel and Eric are parents to Hook thing, I don’t think they will. That role of parent/child same age is occupied by Emma and in her case her parents are also major characters/core characters so there is room for growth and development. In Hook’s case, Ariel and Eric are going to be around for S3 but not the significant amount it would take to build this relationship.

KeymasterFor those interested, he is on Twitter and you can follow him here: https://twitter.com/GilMcKinney
Slurpeez: he is very cute. I’m not so concerned with the looks of the cast. Excited to see what his spin will be!
