Maybe it’s because I spent 6 years as a die hard LOSTie but I do not find OUAT to be convoluted.

The CS ship is actually HUGE and we have a lot of them here on our board (and I love them all dearly even if I’m on a different ship), I just wanted to reduce any tension that might arise.

In internet fan culture, “canon” means what you say but it also has taken on a meaning of being true and established and for sure. Rumbelle is canon in that Rumple isn’t suddenly going to find a new TL. That’s why SF can’t be considered canon *yet* because A and E haven’t set them up as true love and for sure.
Like I said. Highly contentious.
And yes with Regina and Graham, but if your definition of legit is “we’ve seen them kiss” then we’ve got problems. Defining our terms is really important in this thread which is why I’m currently a crazy person who sounds psycho. Sorry, guys. Just trying to stop any wars before they happen.

Canon: a highly contentious term. In general you can interchange it with “established as law or as truth.” It means that OUAT has said “this is true to our show, it will not be changed on the show.” Snowing is canon: Snow and Charming are True Love and that’s not going to suddenly change. Often times it is thrown around before it is shown on the show (shipping wars, for example). Until A and E and show actually show it to us, it’s not canon.
Regina and Graham are the perfect example, they kissed (and more) but are not legit or canon. So, I think it might be best to ignore the poll at the start and just discuss, “Who are your favorite couples and why”

Absolutely! Belle is going to be partly responsible for telling Bae about how Rumple is a good man capable of change. The only part will be Rumple showing Bae he can change.
