KeymasterI’m seeing some chatter in various places that the Wonderland spin off is in the “death” slot. Anyone want to comment on that? I thought putting it in the lead in to Grey’s would be huge given the cult followings of both shows.

KeymasterONCE UPON A TIME” (Season 3)
Master storytellers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz (“Lost,” “Tron: Legacy”) invite everyone to Storybrooke, Maine, a small town that probably won’t show up on one’s GPS. To ensure that no one in fairytale land – especially Snow White – had anymore “happily ever afters,” Evil Queen Regina cast a curse which trapped the fairytale characters, frozen in time, and brought them into our modern world. Although still alive, they had no knowledge of their former selves and were sleepwalking through life – ageless — for 28 years, until their savior arrived in the form of Emma Swan. Unbeknownst to Emma, she was the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming who whisked her out of fairytale land and into our world as an infant to save her from the curse. Abandoned as a baby, Emma’s life was anything but magical. When her 10-year-old son, Henry, whom she gave up for adoption years ago, appeared on her doorstep with a book of fairytales and told her a crazy story about how she’s the prodigy of fairytale characters who are all trapped in a town called Storybrooke, she thought he was nuts. But curiosity got the better of Emma, and she brought Henry back to the town and soon found out that Storybrooke was more than it seemed. Regina, ever the control freak, had placed herself as Mayor of the town and was Henry’s adoptive mother. Over time Emma began to see through the cracks of the curse, believed that the stories were true and was finally able to break it. Reality and myth merged as the fairytale characters began awakening once the curse was lifted and remembered who they were. But to their dismay, they weren’t transported back to fairytale land. To make matters worse, Rumplestiltskin – aka Mr. Gold – decided to gain the upper hand in his power struggle with Regina and introduced magic into the town. But this is our world, and magic has a tendency to have unfathomable implications.
“Once Upon a Time” stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Colin O’Donoghue as Hook, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.
Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz are creators and executive producers. Steve Pearlman is also executive producer. The show is from ABC Studios.
Looks the cast is going to remain the same for now! Colin was added as a regular after the midseason, so the same could happen for MRJ

KeymasterEmilie seems excited for what is going to happen with her next, so I think we can expect something great.

KeymasterI am unsure what this means in terms of the hiatus issues we’ve been having. I had predicted that ONCE:WL would air during the Winter break after we got 11 straight episodes during the fall and then 11 straight episodes in the Spring.
I really hope ABC has a plan for the scheduling issues."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterRe: the picture
We’ve seen one other important drawing in this show; the picture of the dagger August had. Did they come from the same person? I think we’re supposed to find out in S3 how August knew about Bae, and given that Bae was in NL it makes sense that the two are connected.

The Bean plantation still exists right? So, just wait new beans and go everywhere they want/the bean wants (not sure if you can control the destiny).
It still exists but it has been burned and all those other beans destroyed, thus why the big concern over how many beans Greg and Tamara had (3) and when they used them.
1st for Neal
2nd for themselves and Henry
3rd Hook originally stole and then brought back.If there were extra beans in the fields the Charmingstiltskins could have just gone and grabbed another one to follow Henry.

I think Adam and Eddy confirmed that time works differently in Neverland. It’s like in Narnia- remember years went by with the children as the princes and princesses of Narnia, but when they returned, almost no time had passed in our world. Then when they went back to Narnia a year later, it was like 1,000 years later in Narnia.
I guess I have to question what “time” means when A and E say that. Because like Phee pointed out “time being different” has not affected the rotation of the sun, so far as we can tell. Bae found out about Milah in the daytime and seemingly that night he was taken by the Lost Ones. So far as we could tell time wasn’t moving faster in between those two scenes nor was it moving more slowly. So when they say time moves differently, I wonder if it’s on a personal level: your own personal biological time works differently.

Lol! I hear that!
I’m sure theories will be picked over, flipped upside down and inside out, shot down and resurrected many times between now and September 🙂Oh gosh. THIS. Come September I’ll probably believe that Peter is being held captive by the flying monkeys of Oz for stealing Aladdin’s lamp and selling it to Repunzal for a lock of her hair to cure Ariel of a disease brought on by Mufasa.

Maybe Rumple and Peter knew each other as kids. He could have witnessed what had become of Peter first hand. Or, perhaps since Rumple had been abandoned by his father, he in turn became a lost boy and got abducted into Neverland himself. Peter thought Bae was the boy he wanted because of the resemblance to Henry, so the same could have happened with Henry’s Grandpa.
😯
Interesting! He was raised by spinsters according to the prophecy because his father abandoned him so he was an orphan boy. Hmm.

I didn’t mean the non-aging thing. I was thinking more along the lines of how Wendy had been gone for only one night in our world but she implied it was much longer in Neverland. So much more time would have gone by for Rumple than for Belle- if Belle were needed to help with something, for example, she would have to work fast.
Does anyone else maybe thing that when Wendy said “it felt like much longer” in regards to time maybe she meant emotionally? You know when you’re really upset and sad it feels like the day will never end?
And AngieBelle: I see what you mean now. But I think day and night work the same way in NL as they do elsewhere. There are still 24 hours in a day but what stays frozen if you. Maybe NL isn’t frozen in time at all, just the people who live there.
