KeymasterYes, time passes in that sense but does it pass for the boys of the island in that they don’t grow up? If it does, then I think it has to pass reallllllllly slowly. Like for every one hundred years you live in NL, you age one year. And the time issues must affect all of NL, not just the island, because and Smee did not age.

KeymasterCrackpot!
If Peter is working as oracle for someone, what about the Wizard (as in Oz?) He didn’t actually have any magical powers, but maintained the allusion of power through tricks. If he had a secret seer boy who could SEE the future, he might be able to maintain his status as Wizard.
This is really crackpot-y. But if the Wizard travels, via air balloon, to NL and never exits the balloon he could get his “reading” from Peter, go back to Oz where he pretends that he has seen what is coming and uses it to his advantage. Meanwhile back on NL, Peter is allowed to do what he wishes, like ripping boys shadows from them.

KeymasterI don’t think Felix has just witnessed it, I think he’s experienced it. Which is why I’m still sticking with it being Felix’s shadow who brought Bae to NL. Also note that it doesn’t say that PP rips everyone’s shadow, just those who lie to him. So I don’t know that he wants Henry’s shadow specifically, he wants the whole Henry package for some reason.
I do think Felix has undergone the rrrrrrrriping but I wonder if there is a difference in what happens if you undergo it voluntarily. If you do it of your own free will, maybe you become a loyal servant to Peter, if you don’t do it of your own free will you become an ageless crying boy unable to leave NL.

KeymasterT-word is canon guys. Myril added it to our acronyms page. It’s Canon! *twitch*
I still don’t think NL moves faster in time because to me that doesn’t make much sense. Bae would have aged (unless you think he became Peter Pan, Daniel).
If time in NL passes at all, and I don’t think it does because Peter uses the shadows of the captured boys to fuel the island and keep it from moving in time thus remaining the boy who didn’t want to grow up (my theory at present), then it moves much slower.

KeymasterBest Episode
Manhattan
I loved everything about this episode. This episode is the whole reason for the TV show, though we didn’t know it until last years The Return. MRJ is amazing actor and I think he’s brought a lot to the table. The story between Emma and Neal, for me, was very fresh and rewarding. MRJ, RC, and JMo killed all their scenes. My favorite scene of the season was the 3min convo between Rumple and Nealfire. It was heartbreaking and raw and very sad. Henry learning the truth about his dad felt very “real world.” The flashbacks were well done and I wasn’t bored by them like I often was with them this season. The ending was chilling and set up the rest of the season.Runner Up for Best Episode
And Straight On Till Morning
Say what you want about some of the other episodes this year, H and K KNOW how to write a season finale. It was emotionally driven, jam packed and had some awesome moments. Emma and Regina, The Charmings, Rumbelle, and even Hook and Bae’s adventures. It left us with a mystery we’ll be unpacking all summer. And even if they did split my OTP, I have faith that everything will turn out all right.Worst Episode
Selfless, Brave and True
This episode was a disaster. So many missed opportunities for character growth! Ugh, a three second convo between August and Emma before he turns into a little boy from Deus Ex Machina Blue Fairy?? And he didn’t apologize for what he did?? The flashbacks were decent but mostly frustrating. Some of the lines were a wreck, like Emma’s “he will not have died in vain!” Really?? The only good thing I can say is that it still didn’t bean S1’s True North in terms of ick.Runner Up for Worst Episode
Tiny
While I admit I loved the B-plot of Emma, Henry and Rumple, the rest of it was just boring and useless. Jorge is amazing and I love him but I didn’t care about the giant or Jack (please never give me her back story. I beg you). It was slow and obvious filler. It was saved from being my least favorite of the season only b/c of S,B, and T and the stuff that happened outside SB was actually really good."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterIf Peter has the gift of sight, could he see Belle in Regina’s tower and also that Hook would make an alliance with Regina and then with Cora and thereby be protected from the Curse? How much of these events, starting with Rumple even, did he “See” if he can in fact…see.

KeymasterNot only a lot of equipment but the most advance equipment in the world and tons of money. How were they getting that if they work for Peter Pan?? There has to be a division here in this world (maybe headed by Dorothy) and there almost has to be an insider in SB.

KeymasterNot sure, where you saw it trending, but if on your own twitter website, you have to know, that what you see there in the box as trending depends on your own setting, which region you choose. Good thing is for a TV show it already does matter if it trends regional.
Once again, thanks for the explanation!
I’m impressed that we have more original content than GoT.
I saw the trends on my own feed which is set to the United States, so thanks for explanation."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl

I think a few things will help:
1) refocusing on the regulars : which A and E have said is what they want to do for S3
2) This is up to ABC but they’ve got to sort out the hiatus situation. Last year, nothing could hurt ONCE. And they assumed the same would be true this year but the story was vastly more complicated and casual viewers stopped tuning in. I want 11 episodes all in a row leading up to the winter break, then a three month break for ONCE:WL and the Olympics then come back in March and give us 11 straight episodes until the finale. I think that will help
3) They need to promote the DVDs like crazy. Netflix will help. People can get caught up.
And, stories need to be appealing to viewers. Give them what they want to see, and they’ll watch the show.
I agree with this statement in a general sense. I mean, I don’t suddenly want a lot of bloody battles and UFOs (though I do like my UFOs). But which “viewer” or “viewers” do you focus on to appeal to? They have to reach all of us. Who is the “them” who get to see what they want to see? It’s a hard job.

KeymasterThey have said that she does not have a fairy tale counterpart, which I always took to mean she was like Emma: something new. But, it could be that she doesn’t have a Fairy Tale (Land) counterpart but rather a counterpart in a different land.
