I think the shadow is peter pan shadow, and he commands it to retrieves boys to him, for he needs their shadows to become young forever, and Henrys is the shadow he really needs for being eternal young.

So, in the next season we´re going to have a creepy kid who is forever young and also steal shadows and it´s pretty mean?

I’m on board with this one. I think he needs the shadows of the young boys to power the island to make sure that it doesn’t move forward in time because time in Neverland is frozen, so long as he has shadows. Henry’s shadow would be the final shadow, once he had Henry’s Peter no longer needs them and maybe he himself becomes immortal and can leave NL without risk of aging.

Once Neilsen adds their new fancy Social media thing-y, it will be worth noting that last night during the East Coast airing, both Henry and Peter Pan were trending. During the West Coast airing, #AskOnce was trending. I guess for the new ratings thing-y…that’s…good. Myril?

Wasn’t the Phoenix used in Harry Potter too? Maybe it is like the blood thing with Voltmor that will attach the shadow to PP and let the lost boys go. Wasn’t there an article saying that the Lost Boys will be regular too ❓

The phoenix in HP (Fawks) was an actual phoenix who burst into flames and came back to life, cold carry heavy loads, and tears had healing powers. It was a traditional phoenix bird.

The lost boys we saw will probably be guest stars during certain episodes, but not regulars like GG and Josh and JMo and the rest.

It was confirmed by A and E in today’s official podcast that Belle will always have some part of Lacey inside her. She is both now.

Belle’s “I will see you again” comment has me thinking that, after doing what is necessary to protect SB, she’ll take the initiative to try and find Rumple. It was a comment denoting action rather than a passive “You’ll find your way back to me,” et al statement.
I’d like to see Bae recover in FTL and return to SB (don’t know how, exactly) assuming he’d be reunited with his family. Once he gets there and finds they are all gone, he and Belle go off to Neverland using a newly sprouted bean from the clipping at Regina’s. What I can’t figure out is how they would know that Rumple & Co. were headed to NL.

I think this is spot on. I want that to happen. A lot.

Oh, I think you could bet GOOD money on more of the Rumple/Cora story being explored next season. There’s SO much more there to explore.

We have yet to see Rumple hold Regina as a baby, we have yet to see Cora learn about the dagger, and we have yet to see the feud between them that caused Rumple to tell Regina that he “won” in the end. I think there is at least one episode there. Maybe two.

Re: Moe. Now that Belle is in SB for awhile, I do think they will have him make amends. It would be fitting for him to understand that she loved Rumple and nothing is going to change that. I’d like to see him support her like Maurice does in The Beauty and the Beast.

Emma as a kid would be fascinating. I wouldn’t be shocked to see more of August as a kid at some point, either. I mean, as a kid in the past, not now.

I want to see some of the first three years of her life when she did have a family, and then some of the foster situation which as we are led to believe was really hard on her.

I believe this is the conversation you’re referring to:

Arlo: Have you forgotten what the humans did? Why we no longer trade beans with them? They weren’t content merely traveling between the realms. They had to conquer and pillage.

Anton: Because a few humans did some bad stuff, doesn’t make them all evil.

Arlo: They don’t abide by the same laws that we do, Anton. We giants foster life. They destroy it. That is why they must never know that we still exist, or that we still grow the beans.

Anton: But why do we keep growing them… If nobody ever uses them?

So yes, it seems some time ago humans had beans and they could travel between realms. In the Return the BF also says

(The Blue Fairy tosses him a transparent looking bean.)

    Baelfire: What is it?

Blue Fairy: A magic bean. The very last one that is known to our kind. The others got away from us. You just use it wisely, and follow wherever it leads you. It will save you both.

So the beans seem to come and go from human existence.

First I just want to say that as someone who has read R. Van der Broek’s work on the Phoenix, the fact that it is now crossing into my life as a Oncer is scary. The phoenix is a big part of my Master’s Thesis and I kinda hate it at present. Stupid bird.

For me, it is deliberate but in the way you might be thinking. I think Henry being born in Phoenix is the start of Emma fulfilling her destiny–without Henry she would have never made it to SB, which is in essence a rebirth or renewal for herself and all the characters of FTL. I think Henry being born there is a symbol of what is to come.

If all Peter knows of Henry is his picture and the fact that he is a child of magical parents in a non-magical land, he would want to search every non-magical world for Henry. Peter can’t or won’t leave Neverland but he can detect when a boy from a magical world crosses over to a non-magical world and he sends his shadow to bring the boy to Neverland for inspection

So this is the part that stuck out the most to me as I read your thoughts. In SSTR Greg tells Regina that “they” (I think meaning THO) have been doing “this” for a long time, which I think is reference destroying magic but I think it was also a reference, not intended by GOAT but rather by the writers, that Peter has been taking boys for a long time. I like that all the crying boys were once from magical realms and somehow ended up in lands without magic. How did they get there? Who are they? Are they just regular non magical boys from FTL who someone how got lost? Are we talking the Pied Piper? (Peter Pan and the Pied Piper do share some similarities).

Most of Season 2 in SB wasn’t very good period ❗ . Dr Frankstien, the giant to many filler stories in my opinion plus too many breaks why they don’t do reruns instead if they are on a break is beyond me.

RG I am surprise you haven’t taken that Grimm quiz that I posted. 😯

So you raise a really good point HappyEndings. For you, the SB stuff wasn’t very good but I was drawn to the SB stuff more than the FTL stuff. The flashbacks for me were hit and miss. So it’s about finding that delicate line. It’s a hard job but I think A and E are up to it.

Uh..I did. Totally not posting my score. 😳
