1. Question: Will Emma continue to call Snow and David, Mom and Dad? ❓
2. Question: Will Snow, PC and Rumble use their real names name ❓
3. Question: Does Gold go back to being Gold, and will his and Regina magic work in NL ❓
4. Question: How do they get out of NL they had to have a bean to get there but I guess you can leave anytime you want after you are there but how do you get back to SB or FL huh ❓ How did Hook do that when he met Cora ❓
1. Oh. I hope so. If now, at least call them Snow and Charming. PLEASE no more Mary Margaret and David. I beg you.
2. See my above answer.
3. Good question. I think their magic will work, but I have a sneaky suspicion that Rumple will become all gold/green Dark One again.
4. Not a blessed clue. That’s a pretty big mystery.

KeymasterOh, hey. I join with the disliking of Milah a lot. A lot a lot. I didn’t find fault with Hook with that line so much as Milah who obviously thought, “I can go back for him in a few years and that will everything better.”

KeymasterYes, in an interview A and E said they wouldn’t be time traveling but in the Return, Rumple said (seriously, this is maybe the 20th in two weeks I’ve had to quote the Return):
but… I just want you to know, that ever since you left, ever since you crossed the barriers of time and space, in every waking moment… I’ve been looking for you. And now that I’ve finally found you

Or perhaps in Neverland, a shadow acts like a heart?
That could be an excellent analogy! Regina and Cora stole hearts to have control; and the same could be for Peter, who by taking shadows could control the boys!
We know magic works differently in different lands, so absolutely. Maybe the heart trick is really just localized to FTL.
So if that’s true, why does Peter want Henry’s shadow? Why does he want to control Henry? Unless Peter believes/has heard that Henry is the undoing of the Dark One and hopes to assist in the endeavor. If, as many people are saying, the Dark One and the Shadow have some sort of link, by undoing the Dark One, the Shadow may also be undone (as Phee suggested) and thus Peter is free to leave, as are all the boys who are trapped.

KeymasterWell, for what it is worth, I sent the question off to Estelle for the podcast. Hopefully they’ll tell us.

KeymasterI don’t think the Lost Boys said Peter has ripped all of their shadows from them, because I believe Baelfire kept his shadow. I think Peter simply knows how to rip shadows, and has even done so to himself, making his own shadow his minion. Felix sounds like he’s even witnessed it. It might be a form of punishment or torture which Peter inflicts upon those who do not adhere to his wishes. Despite how horrid this sounds, Peter’s ability to rip souls is probably comparable to Rumplestiltskin’s ability to be very menacing with his dark magic (e.g. turning men into slugs). Peter the kidnapper probably threatens to rip the shadows as a way to maintain complete control of the Lost Boys. But, despite being plagued with a dark power, Peter the boy could desperately have been searching for a way to be rid of his affliction.
We don’t know that Peter didn’t eventually take Bae’s shadow. What if he took it, kept it, and then gave it back to him before Bae left for our world?
I like everything you’re saying though, and I think the show will go one of our ways (or not…how often are we right?? :)) I like Peter Pan in general so seeing him become a very evil figure is somewhat disconcerting, plus in a show about hope, I would think that even if he is my hypothesis, it won’t last forever. Even Cora got her heart back for a fraction of a second."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterPeter may be a villain, but only in the way that Rumplestiltskin is one. We know pre-Dark Rumple was simply a well-intentioned desperate father who wanted to save his son’s life. Well, perhaps Peter is just a little boy who wanted to remain forever a child. Perhaps a bad fairy (Tinker Bell perhaps) tricked Peter into coming to NL, where he became accursed to remain a parentless, lonely child forever. That would be such an E&A move, to first make us fear Peter, but then to show us how he really was just a misunderstood youth who only became a kidnapper out of a desperate need to be rid of his accursed state.
I agree it would be a very A and E thing to do…but why does he rip the shadows out of the boys. It sounds like he needs them for something. And if it a curse that was placed upon him, then the first half of the season is them finding out that Peter isn’t a villain just a cured boy and then the second half is them trying to rid him of his curse? (again, we need a villain)
The ripping shadows off of boys and then holding them hostage just seems so….villain. Like “I’m going to be the big bad for the season” villain, and maybe you’ll understand my motivations someday, but I’m still going to be the big bad.EDIT
ETA: On another thread, someone suggested that Henry is actually Peter Pan’s look-alike, and I recognized this as the doppelgänger effect. Maybe Peter needs Henry, his look-alike, to somehow reverse this curse that Peter suffers from! 😮 I just noticed Matthew’s post above, in which he mentioned the character who can rip shadows, who is called Doppelman! 😯
Yes, I just read both those posts. I agree that Peter needs Henry for a s very specific reason. But then there are all those little boys who are shadowless. Why does he need them?
