KeymasterTaking up the “sewing” idea, which is interesting. Maybe he’s holding them captive until he finds the right one to join with, not just become a part of, but actually inhabit the body of another person. Maybe he wants “form”.

I’m not convinced that Emma has enough knowledge and control over her powers to be able to create an extreme portal that can safely transport 1000s of people to a specific place. Also, if she can fix up that portal that will transport 1000s of people at once, then what do a small group of them need to get together on the ship for, because couldn’t she just do the same trick for them that she did for everyone else?
Unless the have unfinished business. Emma sends everyone to the EF, thinking the family can go after GOAT. But then they discover that GOAT has gone and the one portal Emma could open is closed and she’s drained. Enter Hook with this stolen bean and a ship to NL.

Hopefully, it was just a prompt to watch the finale, rather than any sort of spoiler.
Here is a plausible theory I read on Tumblr about why the Shadow might only want boys.
But I have to admit that now I am wondering if the shadow is looking for Peter (it wants a boy), but can’t find him because Peter is all grown up now. Kind of like Maleficent’s minions were looking for a baby for 16 years.
This is exactly what I was thinking. Poor crazy creepy shadow may have been searching all sorts of places to find his Peter and finds another portal (Bae’s portal) to start searching for more boys?
But then why won’t the Shadow let boys leave NL? Why is he holding them “captive” (for wont of a better term until we learn more about it)?

But what Estelle said, if it is correct, is so significant that I can’t see her letting that slip. It would blow the entire reveal if Hook is the Shadow. So I still think she is literally just telling a fan to watch the finale.
That was an entirely different question Estelle said she was asking. It was: if Regina goes back to the EF, isn’t she still marked for the wraith. Wasn’t about the shadow looking like Hook at all. I first thought so too but I went and looked. 😀
*blinks rapidly* Guys, it’s only Tuesday. We aren’t going to survive this.

So Peter is in our world and Shadow has been looking for him? Hm. But the fact that the Shadow showed up around the same time as Bae and followed him through the portal (that’s what A and E said right?)….I think it has been looking for Bae. Or is Bae. head desk

KeymasterI think Regina and Rumple delay the explosion of SB until everyone gets out: Emma sends them all to the EF and then they get on the JR and go. But A and E have said they wouldn’t show us a bomb and not have it go off.

That makes total sense that he pirates a bean away from GOAT. He’s too smart to trust them and he has a backup plan.
It is also a call back to what he and Milah did in The Crocodile to Rumple, faking him out with the bean and secretly keeping it.

KeymasterA much better question really about the boat is this: How on earth did they find it in NY harbor, with Gold bleeding and barely hanging on to life? That place is huge! Maybe Gold did have a tracking enchanted object to find things by name.
Or how he found Bae’s apartment when the globe just said NYC?! The largest city in AMERICA!
These are questions I have chosen for the sake of sanity to ignore. Suspension of disbelief comes in handy right about now.
Well lots of things are possible at this point. I am doubtful only because that would create another oddity on the timeline.
Seconds after the shadow flies over the water looking for Bae, Hook appears. I would be very surprised if the Shadow was Hook. I think it’s far more likely that Bae and Hook fight the Shadow, which turns out to be part of Bae making him Nealfire Pan.

If the writers are somehow about to show us how/when the book was written and when it comes to Mary Margaret and then to Henry, they will have to film it quickly, because Jared looks already older than last year.Good point, unless MM got the book before Henry grew up. I can see her holding on to it for years, not knowing why she had it until she met Henry in her class and suddenly gave it to him. That whole fate thing.
My personal theory is this: the BF wrote the book before leaving FTL and Mother Superior gave it to MM without really knowing why. MM held on to it, again not knowing why, until henry entered her class. I think the can do enough with makeup to make Jared appear a year young for one quick scene of MM giving him the book."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterI don’t think she knows the finale ahead of time. I think she’s telling the person to literally watch the finale.
I’m saying this cause I’m freaked out by it.
