RumplesGirl
KeymasterNow if we could get some more sneak peeks ftom Sunday’s season finale I would be a happy person
Tomorrow is Wednesday, so we will all be on the look out!
I think Hook will end up switching sides and helping Emma, Henry, Snow, David, Rumple, Belle, Regina, Red, Granny, Anton, The Dwarves, possibly The BF. when he realizes GOAT have no intention of letting him live either
I agree, I also think he will steal one of the beans because somehow the CharmingStiltskins have to have one.

KeymasterI know she’d remember, just making a funny. 🙂
I think she’ll be more horrified by herself as well. It will be interesting to see how she can be both.

KeymasterI do want a line in the season finale where after Belle comes back and she and Rumple have a nice little reunion she looks down and says, “Um. Rumple? What am I wearing? And why do I feel like I’ve had one too many shots?”

KeymasterI hate to say this but I think we’re going to have to wait until S3 to see Belle’s reaction to being Lacey. But I do hope we get it.

KeymasterPlus most shadows don’t have those gleeming eyes either. 😥
Well I think we can surmise that is not a normal shadow at all. We’re calling it a shadow cause that’s what Wendy calls it, but I think it’s something much darker and creepier.
Bae would have said his name out loud I am sure before the 6 months with the Darling so I don’t think that is it either.
Maybe? The fact is we don’t know for certain. Maybe he only gave his true name to Wendy because she was kind to him. Maybe on other occasions he lied about his real name.
I also don’t think it would take 6 months for a shadow to catch up with you either besides Bae had no magic and the shadow does
What some other people are proposing is that Bae fell through the vortex in the blink of an eye for himself, but in reality it took 150 years in FTL so Rumple had time to develop his powers in order to send the shadow after Bae, and it took 6 months for the shadow to get to London, just like it took Bae a long time to get there.
Personally, I’d rather not have Rumple be the one who made this creeptastic thing. I want it to be another side of Bae, his spirit or essence or something, but that it’s darker because there is darkness in everyone. I think it lends more credence to the idea that Bae is PP.
I think that is because he didn’t want his father to find him.
I don’t know what you mean here. Rumple traffics in names, not Bae. Bae kept his name hidden to be sure so his father wouldn’t find him, but this is turning the Rumple story on it’s head. Instead of Rumple’s name being the source of power, it’s Bae telling someone his own name that holds a magic key, as it were.

KeymasterI also like the idea that Bae’s name is important. The original tale of Rumpel after all has its ending turn on a name.
Yes, especially since when we saw their version of the Rumple story, the name wasn’t important at all, yet in Manhattan he tells Emma that he traffics in names. What does that even mean when his name has never been his greatest secret?

KeymasterIf that is true why didn’t he do this on Bae, something just doesn’t add up besides the timing issue etc.
Bae wouldn’t have fallen for it, he doesn’t trust magic. He has seen first hand what magic does to people. He even told Wendy that magic was bad and that it comes with a price. He wanted to be in a land without magic and wouldn’t trust the shadow.
As for PP’s special skills: maybe that’s true in the original myth but in ONCE they don’t give us the original, they give us their version of it. They can do Peter Pan’s story however they want and we shouldn’t expect to get the same story as what we know.

KeymasterWell I get the feeling that the shadow was telepathically telling Wendy/the boys how marvelous NL was and that’s what made them want to go. Before Wendy leaves with the Shadow the first time she tells Bae what NL is like, but she has yet to go there. I think the Shadow tells his “victims” what they can expect in NL: no adults, mermaids, fairies, ect., in order to entice them.

KeymasterAnd, with the globe HappyEndings brought up, before he got that he was seen packing tons of maps of surounding states because he didn’t know where Bae was. He as just planning to go.
I don’t remember the boat thing, but maybe?

KeymasterHappyEndings does bring up a good point.
Rumple thought Bae was here in this world, not NL. And to be fair, that is where the bean sent Bae, so Rumple was right about that. And he expressed surprise that Bae new how to pilot the JR."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love" -
