My driving question about the kidnapping is why NL? What prompts GOAT to go to another land when in the preview they say they are willing to die for their cause?
Yes, that’s been the primary question on my mind, too. I think there is more than meets the eye to Henry. Perhaps as the child of Emma and Baelfire, he has magic of his own. Maybe they go to NL because Henry is destined to become the next Pan. It’s not clear. Or perhaps they know about the prophesy and believe Henry is the key to taking down the Dark One.
I’ve been wondering if the Home Office orders GOAT to take Henry. We know GOAT have been getting orders and information from someone at the Home Office, so maybe their handlers decide that there is something in NL they need and only Henry can get it.
Over in this thread I speculated that the Shadow is looking for a body to posses but it has yet to find the right now, though Bae was the best fit so far. Maybe Henry is an even better fit being Bae’s son. And the Home Office seeks to control the Shadow but first it needs a body.
This is a really creepy theory.

PS: Tamara has to be the daughter of RH and Marian because NO ONE hates magic THAT MUCH for no reason.
If Tamara is the daughter of Robin Hood and Marian, wouldn’t she be stuck in Storybrook?
Not if RH and Marian got out of FTL before the Curse hit. This is how I’ve pictured this working out.
–RH steals the wand from Rumple on behalf of a fairy.
–RH uses the wand to heal Marian.
–After returning the wand to the fairy, RH and Marian ask the fairy to send them to another world, to escape whoever poisoned Marian.
–They are sent to our world. At some point Marian becomes sick and died and this greatly affects her daughter Tamara who blames magic. She is recruited to the Home Office."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterThis reminds me of that little theory I’ve had for ages that The Dark One was created when Blue – “the original power”, suggesting she maybe once possessed both dark and light power – did something to try and rid herself of her darkness, and it split off and became The Dark One. Maybe someone in NL tried something similar, and now the darkness is looking for a new body, the same way The Dark One curse has to possess a body. Maybe the Shadow somehow heard rumour about Rumple, and decided that if the father went for it, so might the son, so that’s why he started looking for him as a prime candidate.
Interesting. But it brings me back to a question I asked a few pages ago: if this is true, if it just wants Bae to possess, then why is it keeping the other boys captive?

KeymasterWhen Nealfire comes back, I could see Emma being somewhat conflicted if she’s made a commitment to a relationship of some description with Hook. She’s not cold hearted, and if she’s come to genuinely care for him by then, it would be a tad insensitive to just drop him like a hot potato. Ideally, the “triangle” would be quickly resolved though, with both Hook and Emma realising that it just ain’t gonna last because ultimately, her heart still belongs to Nealfire, and he loves her too, so they have to sort out all their stuff and give themselves a real chance to make it work. If Hook and Nealfire do have a friendly past, I could see Hook standing aside when he sees how much Nealfire truly loves Emma.
How long will Nealfire be away is the question. I can’t see them separating him from everyone else for very long especially since MAP may not be around in S3, they all have other commitments that are at least part time and I can’t see Emma moving on rapidly at any point. She barely moved on in the 10 years since Nealfire left her. She’s not going to be hooking up with anyone anytime soon. She may develop a friendship with Hook, but I don’t know if we’re going to get a triangle anymore.

KeymasterI also think Rumple went to NL for the squid ink; it was also hypothesized (somewhere on this forum….) that Regina also went to NL.

KeymasterHmmm, I think this sort of confirms that Lanie MacNeil’s character isn’t Ariel. My money is on Tink.

KeymasterI can’t help but wonder if her Lacey side will now mean she’s a bit more open to Rumple using magic.

KeymasterHow would they even coordinate such a thing in a very short space of time? Put a flier on the town notice board saying: “Everyone who wants to go back to FTL, please report to the former bean field promptly at 2pm, at which time Emma will attempt to open a massive portal for you all to jump into. Yes we know, she doesn’t have full control of her powers yet, but we’re sure it’ll be safe. We’re not coming ourselves just yet, but hope to meet you on the other side one day soon. We’ll find you, promise. *fingers crossed* Much love, from your fearless leaders, TeamCharmings.”
Yes.

Taking up the “sewing” idea, which is interesting. Maybe he’s holding them captive until he finds the right one to join with, not just become a part of, but actually inhabit the body of another person. Maybe he wants “form”.
Are you suggesting the Shadow possesses Bae? If he does, that would sorta mean that Bae is both Peter Pan and not Peter Pan at the same time. Bae would only be acting like Peter because Peter is controlling his body. It would also explain why Bae would even call himself Peter Pan. Adam & Eddy would also technically be correct that we won’t see Peter Pan himself until Season 3, since if this theory is true we would likely only see Peter in the flesh then. I’m torn on which theory to side with, this or the Hook is Peter theory….
I really don’t like the Hook is PP theory because I think Hook is going to end up being the hero of NL to the Shadow’s more antagonistic character. Also, if the Shadow possess Bae and he and Hook square off at some point, it might give reason for why Bae left NL after 250+ years and came home. He was afraid of Hook returning. And maybe when he went through a portal to our world again the Shadow left him and is sitll in NL to this day waiting for a new boy to take. (OMGold…Henry)
