Yes the portals have to be able to cross time and space, otherwise Jefferson’s hat trick with the apple and Bae’s jump in time to London make no sense. But not every portal moves in time, obviously, because Emma and Snow didn’t jump in time when they came home to SB.

Could it be possible that Rumple has some way of knowing that Neal is still alive. How else could he have know that Neal survived over 250 years? Maybe thats how they know to go searching for him.
Did the globe that Cora gave Rumple show our world BEFORE Rumple dropped his blood on to it? Because if it could show any world, Rumple could use it to find Bae again.

K&H said it just recently again, that there is no time travel in OUaT, time is linear, although it works differently in different lands source
That Regina with the help of Jefferson was able to use the hat to get a tiny object from the past into present Storybrooke kinda contradicts that. but, oh, well, maybe the apple got stuck in some rabbit hole for some years before it fell through the hat up into Regina’s hand. And the same happened to Bae. Or so. 🙄

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"–Belle gets her memories back. I do not enjoy Lacey and what she does to Rumple. I know she’s not evil but she is too much like Cora and what her and Rumple’s relationship would have been like in FTL for my comfort. I like Belle as a character but I want Rumple to fight this. Taking Lacey into S3 feels like a giant misstep to me.
–Neal is alive. Can’t say it more pointed than that.
–I do think SB is going to be destroyed but I have a feeling Emma’s magic will save everyone. I hope she transports the more minor characters back to FTL.
–The core cast moves to a new land. They haven’t set up NL and the Shadow for no reason.
–Regina and the Charmings reach some sort of understanding. The back and forth of Regina this season gave me whiplash.

I think the answer right now to both of these is “no” unless my fuzzy head (3 sick babies and now I’m catching it) is betraying me here. I think he has yet to find out, although I am fairly certain he will find out in the finale.
I don’t think Hook knows about Neal right now (and of course Neal disappears right when he and Hook could interact! ARG). I really want to see Hook/Neal interaction because I bet Hook and Bae were not sworn enemies. I think Bae was a part of Hook’s crew.

That’s a really good question. Before last night’s episode some of us speculated that there would have to be some sort of sign that Neal was still alive somewhere, but there wasn’t. Emma and co really believe him to be dead.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I think it must be Laine MacNeil, who was cast around the same time as Freya Tingley (however, her character is still a mystery). But, it could be they mean Peter Pan, since we’ve only seen his shadow, not an actual boy.
Given that Wendy mentioned both mermaids and fairies in SSTR, I think Lanie is going to be on of those creatures. And if Bae is on Hook’s ship and a pirate…mermaid might make more sense??
