You mean this photo? Pretty sure it’s a teddy bear. One of the brothers was known for carrying a teddy bear.

KeymasterHmmm. Those are some interesting parallels, nice job tracking them down.
My problem with it, however, is the problem I have whenever anyone wants to suggest that Emma = any storybook character (Wendy, Alice, ect). A and E have always been pretty emphatic that Emma is her own story. Emma does not have an FTL, an NL or a WL personality because she is brand new. If she had stayed in FTL has a baby, she would have grown up to be Emma, not some other fairy tale we know.
But I do agree that Emma has some pretty strong magic and that magic is going to play a huge role in S3."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterOr if someone tried to walk across the town line would they be blown back
After Welcome to Storybrooke a few people threw around the idea that the town was out of sync with the rest of the world. So when someone went down that stretch of highway they just went down a stretch of highway, passing through where the town would be, but not actually through the town. Greg said something similar to this when he tells Regina that he’s driven down the highway looking for this town for a long time. So when the Curse was lifted in A Land Without Magic the town was put back into sync with the rest of the world and that is how outsiders were able to find it.
The thing that gets me really pondering is how a town like Storybrooke exists without imports from outside the town. Do they grow all their own food? Was the curse just magically replenishing the stores in Granny’s restaurant over the 28 years so it seemed like no time passed? Does that mean that they’re running low on supplies now that the curse is broken? Cue post-apocalyptic scenario!
Questions like this have long plagued us but I think this is the consensus that I’ve seen: the Curse was designed to keep them all insular but alive. There is no point in them all dying from starvation before the end of year one, that wouldn’t be the victory Regina imagined. So, the town itself was self sustaining. No food ever came in from the outside but Curse provided for them, ensured they had everything to live what they deemed to be an ordinary life for the rest of time. When the Curse broke, I assume scarcity would eventually become an issues, but I think time wise, it hasn’t been that long since the end of S1. Plus, now that magic can be created in SB, those who are so inclined and have the ability could make their own food. Not to mention that food can now be shipped in.
Edit: One of my pet theories (honestly, I’m like the crazy cat lady of pet theories) is Rumple was the Pied Piper in FTL. XD I just think he’d look cool in that cloak.
In the original costuming of Rumple, Eduardo designed a really elaborate hood/cape (sort of medieval) but A and E thought it didn’t fit with what they had planned for him so they told Eduardo to “make him a rock star” which is why he has much leather and crocodile like clothes. We still don’t know why Rumple wanted Ella’s baby so they could tie it in (though my personal theory is that he never wanted the baby at all. What he wanted was to be locked in the jail cell until the Curse hit and this was how he set out to accomplish that)

So the gun held at Bae’s head will be in this episode then in the last one right?
I honestly don’t know because it could go in either one.

KeymasterYou’ve convinced me 😆
It was a passing thought that I just put out there but yes, I like the way you answered.

I’m not sure if Bae could be marked, unless Tamara has her own medallion, or maybe her taser is medallion-like capabilities. There was that image of Neal’s hand, which a lot of people thought looked marked. However, I kind of of doubt this myself, so maybe the Wraith is out. I myself prefer the Neal’s-life-is-tied-to-SB angle, thought watch me be wrong on that one.
Lemme poke a small hole. Is SB's existence tied to Neal if SB came into existence before Bae came to our world? OR is Neal's existence tied to SB? If SB starts to disappear does his soul leave because of that?

Question: We didn’t actually see a body so it my or may not be Granny’s we are assuming when they called for her she didn’t answer what if she was just hurt wouldn’t they have used that cgi instead if it is a body ❓
If they just wanted to portray someone as hurt they wouldn’t use CGI. They’d use makeup. CGI is when there is not actual person to stand in, like the dragon zombie of Malifcent.

KeymasterOK. To put this all in one post, here is what we’ve got:
Neal is the one who dies, but it is not a true death. It is his soul that is perhaps sucked out by the Wraith and taken to the Wraith's land where Neal meets MAP. The fail safe is tied to Neal's continual existence as a whole person, so when he loses his soul SB begins to come apart and maybe people start disappearing back to FTL as the town leaves our world

Rumple, Snow and Emma may all suspect there's something off, especially if the Wraith comes into play. They probably know about lost souls being sent to another realm when they're sucked by a Wraith.
Regarding the failsafe, yes, I could totally see that really happening. Perhaps I'm way over thinking this, but Neal's life in our world might be completely tied up with the existence of SB. If you think about, if it hadn't been for Baelfire, then Rumple never would have created a dark curse that brought everyone from the EF to SB. And now, it's almost like SB has served its purpose, which was to get Rumple to a Land Without Magic to find Baelfire. So, the price of this dark curse has yet to be paid, because Rumple can't have everything, both magic and his son. Rumple might have designed the failsafe so that he could take Neal back to the EF one day, but maybe he doesn't see the cost yet. Perhaps activating the failsafe is somehow magically tied to Neal's life, and so when SB ceases to exist in this world, Neal ceases to exist in this world. His soul is sent to the same place as Philip's soul.

KeymasterI think the person we met is Wendy (and then there is Lanie MacNeil’s character who we’ve yet to figure out–Ariel or Tink?). Plus we are meeting Pan’s shadow.
I think the town will be destroyed but it does not kill anyone but sends them all back to FTL.
