KeymasterBut if Once does get picked up, does that mean she works on both shows or that she has to choose?

KeymasterARG! I totally forgot Tallahassee. Yes, that was a stand out as well.
I’ve been looking at ratings for other shows that are fantasy/sci-fi, even if not on ABC. Fringe went for five seasons, mostly because of the dedicated fan base that wouldn’t let FOX cancel it, and they barely peaked 5 million views by about S3.
So, we can stare at these ratings every week, but it’s a crap shoot. We’re getting a S3 (and after reading AntBee’s response probably a full 22 episode one) and we’ll see where it goes from there.

KeymasterI’m accepting defeat. They loved each other.
BUT….Belle’s love is the one he needs. Cora and he only feed each other darkness and Belle makes him human. If Belle made him want to go back to the best version of himself, Cora made him want to be the worst version.
I have no idea why I’ve been fighting this. I accept that Rumple has loved others (Milah) and that Belle is ok with it because in the end their love is the one that matters. And I’m sure my views are coming across as slightly naive and very “RUMBELLE OR NOTHING!!” Well, Cora, thank you for not loving him enough and loving power too much. You did something right, at least.
I need a cookie.

KeymasterI’m going to put the redemption argument off to one side since this is a rating thread and we shouldn’t go too far off topic 🙂
And for those who came to this thread just see the ratings from “The Miller’s Daughter” here is the link: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2013/03/11/tv-ratings-sunday-revenge-the-mentalist-rise-red-widow-falls-further-once-upon-a-time-celebrity-apprentice-flat/172847/
Now you don’t have to go back through a few pages of us talking about it.
The “next day” ratings will probably be up tomorrow and we should see an increase."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterIn the official podcast with Adam and Eddy they mentioned the ring: they said that while Rumple is swag-tastic, seeing if the ring has greater significance is something we could watch for. (paraphrasing) so SpinningGold might be on to something!

KeymasterThere is a difference between Sebastian Stan, he is super high demand because of the Captain America franchise. He’s super busy, but they still want him to come back.
I do love Ruby but I don’t know how much more she can serve the story. And it’s the story that matters.
I also prefer Regina as the EQ but you can’t have her be a cliche bad character. She needs redemption at some point.

Go listen to the official podcast, everyone. Adam and Eddy are killing me and my stance on this topic.

Maybe with Regina seemingly returning as the the main baddie everyone loved, interest in this Season will be renewed. Evil Regina was something viewers loved to watch. I know plenty who were sick of Hook and Cora.
As for Ruby, Meghan Ory just got picked up for a CBS pilot called “Intelligence.” If that pilot is picked up for a series, that could mean seeing Ruby written off the show or at least reduced to recurring guest role.
whoa, really??? Can’t say I’m surprised given that Meghan’s role has been dramatically reduced but I wonder if that means Ruby will be killed.
I also wonder if we’ll lose more viewers if Ruby leaves/dies."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterAntBee: I was going to bring up Child of the Moon but I fear the wrath of the Little Reds. Now, I love Ruby, I do, but I’m starting to wonder what else they can possibly do with her in flashbacks. We had the big reveal that she was the wolf in S1 and that was great. Child of the Moon was the obvious next story to tell, but there can’t be much more and I don’t want them to give me a filler just because they have to serve each cast member, even though I think Meghan Ory is great. And as much as I love Belle, her flashback episode in The Outsider didn’t do a whole lot for me. Her story is so wrapped up in Rumple that when they diverge from it, to tell her tale, I don’t lose interest necessarily, but I find myself longing for Rumple.
I agree with you about being in FTL too long. I know why they did it, get us to Xmas and have the final episode before holiday be the big return but it did drag on too much. And a lot of it felt like it was just moving from place to place. Looking back, the begging of S2 had some highlights (Broken, The Crocodile, Queen of Hearts), but overall it was weaker than I expected.
And I also think we’re never going to get back to the 11 million live viewers unless the do some magic of their own. I just hope ABC sees that each week (live and then over the week) they do bring in about 10 million viewers and at least a 2.8-3.0 ratings share. It’s got to count for something. And if you look at other similar shows, Once is doing better than say Grimm or Beauty and the Beast over on the CW."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl

Except the fact that we won’t know how August knew Neil was Belfire tell next year, see this stuff gets old. What about the Blue Fairy she seems total worthless after they made a big deal that she was the most powerful with magic stuff just doesn’t add up and you can only play along for so long in my opinion.
What about that whistle that the Huntsman gave Snow that is still in limbo ❓
I don’t disagree that I want answers, but these two were on LOST for 6 years where you got maybe one BIG answer a season and a few little ones here and there. If they are keeping BF and August/Neal under their hats it’s because it serves the story better to tell it later. If we get all the answers now, we wouldn’t have a show.
That doesn’t mean there aren’t plot holes that do get annoying. Like I said, it needs to be more streamlined next season if we want to stay afloat for a S4. I think they need to stop introducing so many character (I say this knowing full well we’re going to Neverland) but, I guess, introducing characters that only serve one story for one episode. I love that Dr. Whale was Frankie and it was fine to get one episode for that but I didn’t need two, I didn’t need a Jack the Giant killer story (even though I liked Anton, I didn’t need an entire episode devoted to him). They need to play to their strengths which are the core cast of Emma, Snow/Charming, Rumple, Regina. The other characters float around those guys. I think they’ll learn a lot from this season and hopefully, if we do get renewed for a full S3, they will take things into consideration. I trust Adam and Eddy and if they tell me to wait for the big things, I will. Goodness knows I did it for 6 years with LOST."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love" -
