You know what is ironic is that Regina took her fathers heart, and wanted to take her mothers but at the end she put her mothers heart back in and it was her father that protected her.
As for Henry, hopefully we will see Emma tell her that he is Gold’s grandchild or probably once again we won’t see this happening. 😕
That delicious irony is one of the things I love about OUaT.
Regina didn’t seem surprised that Bae was there. There was no “ok, who is this random dude defending Gold that wasn’t part of my curse??”
I think we have to assume that she and Cora have been listening to Snow/Emma talk on phones and already know that Gold’s son came back with him. And Cora knew that Rumple was going to go find Bae and she probably told Regina. So there is a good chance Regina already knows who Bae is to both Gold and Henry.[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterI think we need big resolutions and soon. And I think we're going to get them, if slowly. Belle probably gets her memories back in 19, Lacey. They are going to resolve Pinocchio in 18, right before the hiatus. Hook will probably have some huge moments in 21 and 22 that will change his character. I do agree that this season needs to be more streamlined. Now that the Cora story is over, the big threat has to be Greg, the outside world, and Evil Queen Regina on the rampage again.

Ok I’m gonna throw it out there… Because it would make such a nice plottwist. But in theater Peter Pan is always played by a girl, it’s tradition… So what if Peter is a girl. Then it could be Tamara or Ariel even.
That sounds unlikely, and not because I’m against Peter actually being female per se, but because we’ve already seen the executive producers do that with Jacqueline in the Jack and the Beanstalk adaptation.
That’s true and I’m not sure how well that worked for them. I enjoyed the gender switching but Jack isn’t that major of a character; Pan (Bae or not) will be and I think they’re going to want to keep it close to the original before they take their own spin.

KeymasterAnd for Rumple, the idea of having a family is incredibly seductive, I think. It’s all he ever wanted pre-dark one, it’s what he wanted when Milah wanted to run off, and I suspect it’s what he hopes for with Belle and Bae now.
Agreed, he was abandoned as a child so family becomes uber important to him.
Which is why I think he was willing to take it wherever he could find it, even in something that wasn’t true. He felt drawn to Cora and when she offered him love and a child, he jumped at it because he thought she really meant it. But to her, it was a power play to get him to change the contract because she had no idea what love really is.I think even if we get a response from Jane about this questions, I’m going to maintain that Cora never really loved Rumple because she didn’t know what love was.

I think people really don’t like this Season as much as they did the 1st one, also all these breaks kind of wear people down. 😕
I wonder why that is. I’ve thought this season had been very strong, especially the last few episodes. Was it the filler episodes people didn’t like? Frankenstien, Tiny, ect? These episodes from Manhattan to the finale are focusing on the main characters. We really need to get a boost next week.

KeymasterPart of me does not get it, as Rumpel’s wife she could have been more powerful than anyone. Cross Rumpel’s wife and you are sure to end up as chopped snail liver.
On the other hand, she was sick of her stigma of miller’s daughter and as mrs Rumpel she would have gotten another stigma entirely. But still… way more power… and a sexy beast to boot rrrrawwBut she never would have been more powerful than Rumple. By staying with Henry and choosing power, she could have power over her husband AND probably over the King because she’s one who can spin gold and remove hearts. I bet he gave her a wide berth after seeing her power. Give her what she wants because she’s keeping your kingdom in gold. With Rumple she would always be second best.

KeymasterIt is a heart, but that’s a still from The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, right before she killed Graham.

I think it’s just a difference of interpretation until we hear it confirmed from Jane herself.
Wouldn’t be Once if we didn’t have a lot of different opinions. 🙂 What makes it fun, right? And I’m sure if Jane ever responds to our questions, those on the opposite side of Jane will still disagree.

*sigh* This is disappointing. They really promoted this episode and I think we needed a big boost to make ABC feel like they can give us a full S3. I know the 7+ will increase, but this is a pretty flat number, and our ratings share didn’t increase. Start worrying?
I’m still blaming The Bible TV series airing on History. It’s directly competing against Once, and it’s getting really abnormal ratings for cable, which is about 13 million total viewers.
It’s a four part series, if I recall, with two parts done. So, we’re looking at it competing with us for the next two episodes as well. And THEN we go into a month long hiatus. Maybe I’m being paranoid, but now I’m super worried.

Maybe we should just ask Jane. 😆
This honestly seems like the best solution. 🙂
