I’m guessing this is supposed to be the same ring he wore on his pinkie on the hand he had “reattached” on his first date with Emma. I figured we would be seeing that ring again – it felt like they made a big deal about making sure we “noticed” it on his hand. Since it fits his pinkie it is small so I am guessing it is a woman’s ring which makes me think it is supposed to be his mother’s ring. I think it is part of the lead in to Hook’s past that I am sure we will get this season.
I don’t think so. Rumple had that hand since he chopped off on the JR waaaay long ago. Hook said that ring kept him alive, meaning he’s been wearing it and counting it as a good luck charm for awhile–maybe since Liam died, or since Papa Jones left, or even since Milah died. But for him to have an attachment to this ring and believe it has some sort of protective power means that he had to physically have it.

Well the gods didn’t zap her even though she was clearly unworthy (girl turned around and killed a dude) so maybe there are no more gods…or something

Nope. Nimue calls it THE holy grail. And I have no issue with magic cups but calling it THE Holy Grail, with Crosses, and in the midst of Arthurian mythology means one thing. It’s the Holy Grail. There are no other “holy grails.” It’s not like there other grails floating around in the world. The word just means “cup” but the holy comes from the adjective “san” meaning holy (san greal) and when combined, like I said, it means one thing.
I mean…why not have him drink a cup of Ambrosia? Drink/food of the gods, giver of immortality in several myths. Then you wouldn’t have this bizarre timeline/realm issue.
