^ Well that’s kindof what I thought, but then how did Merlin talk to Emma during the curse. Cause he was definitely in the tree then?!? SFG

Projection? He’s not really “there” with Emma.

Yes, but is the decade or so even true? Because when did Arthur and Lancelot pull that sword from the stone? Because they mentioned the prophecy then too but that has to be before the Dark Curse #1, right? Unless there are multiple prophecies.

Also, the “decade” might not be referring to the 28 years of the curse. So the decade really might date back to 8 or 9 years before the curse plus the additional year or two since the curse broke.

Actually. That might be it exactly. That would fit with the timeline (uh, I think) and it would help with the Lancelot issue.

So, wait, who the heck is Violet’s father? I thought it was the guy who got killed in the first episode…and then I thought it was the guy who got killed this episode… Does anyone remember?

we haven’t met him yet. But we know he’s coming

Should also note that Quantico is still a 1.9, despite lead-in Blood and Oil dropping to a 1.2. Should be interesting to see if Quantico remains higher than OUAT for the next few weeks.

Oof at that lead in to Quantico. Next week being the premiere of TWD, Blood and Oil is dead in the water. And yes, it will be interesting to see if Quantico can hold. It’s been awhile since ABC had a solid 10pm performer (well, one that stayed solid, that is)

Live Ratings are in for episode 502 “The Price”

    Overall Viewers: 5.33 million

    Demo: 1.8

We held stead in the demo but did drop in overall eyeballs from last week (last week = 5.88 million). However, holding steady was mostly expected.

So Arthur pulled the sword ten years ago, and they have been expecting our gang since then.

Lancelot is sort of the issue though. Ten years ago, the realm was cursed because of Regina. People could move around but time was standing still; we don’t know what really became of Lancelot after he left Snow and Charming but we know he wasn’t on good standings with Arthur when we last saw him. However he was there when Arthur pulled the sword from the stone.

It’s looking more and more likely that Cora did not kill him, but he’s nowhere to be seen in Camelot of 6 weeks ago meaning he never made his way back to Camelot (apparently?). In other words, the pulling of the sword from the stone had to happen pre-Dark Curse, pre-Lancelot befriending Snow and Charming.

First bit of ratings news is in for episode 502 “The Price”

This is NOT the demos but the over all shares. We’ll get the demo shortly.

“Once Upon a Time” at a depressed 3.3/ 5 in the overnights from 8-9 p.m. (#4). Comparably, that was 11 percent below the week-ago season-opener (which resulted in 5.92 million viewers and a 1.8/ 5 in adults 18-49, based on the Live + Same Day data), and 31 percent below the 4.8/ 7 in the overnights one year earlier.

Does anyone else think it may be significant that TLK hasn’t worked twice (well three) times now for the pirate and Emma? The first time, Hook’s cursed lips took Emma’s true love power. The second time Emma tried kissing Hook in Camelot. The third time Hook tried kissing dark one Emma in SB and it didn’t work. Could it be because, despite seeming to be in love with Hook, it isn’t real love? At least she has Henry. Too bad Neal died.

I’d really *really* like to believe it’s significant but I’ve stopped believing that this show is doing anything significant awhile back.

In this ep, they mentioned that they heard the prophecy “a decade or so” ago, so I guess Merlin didn’t get stuck in a tree until after he’d been to see Emma, if he was still delivering prophecy to the people of Camelot about a decade ago. *edit* Ooops, I see Heather beat me to it, that’s what I get for posting before reading the whole thread.

Yes, but is the decade or so even true? Because when did Arthur and Lancelot pull that sword from the stone? Because they mentioned the prophecy then too but that has to be before the Dark Curse #1, right? Unless there are multiple prophecies.
