KeymasterI wonder if the name on the daggar would change if all of Rumple’s humanity is gone.
Oh good question. Would the name on the dagger just be “The Dark One” or would the dagger no longer have a name because the DO would no longer be tied to it?
or that the sentient being Rumplestiltskin will be gone and all that will remain is the Dark One.
I think it’s that one.

KeymasterQuestion: how can Hook and Rumple be alive in the Pre-Curse EF if Rumple isn’t the Dark One and Hook (probably) never went to NL and “froze” for 200+ years?
From what I gather, what is happening with this AU is that the past isn’t technically changed, but rather personalities and memories are suddenly changed. Isaac is starting this new story from a clean slate with the characters he is writing about. After all, this is a new book entirely entitled “Heroes and Villains”, rather than altering the original “Once Upon a Time” book.
So Rumple was just born in “present”EF instead of way past? Okay. I’ll take that.

KeymasterBut this seemed less sick affection and more genuine love, at least that last speech in the end where she was actually concerned for Regina’s well being and giving her profound life advice.
I think how self-aware Cora was about her own mistakes were the moments of ‘whaa?’ for me. For her to apologize about the Love is Weakness mantra was startling.
Yes that’s exactly what I mean. Maybe she put her heart back in her chest for this visit?

Keymaster1) When they say “villains” and “heroes,” whose POV is it? Do they all agree on who the villains/heroes are? Are Rumple and Isaac on the same page, so to speak? For example, what happens to Hook?
They shouldn’t be on the same page, just because “heroes” and “villains” are such subjective terms. Look at how Isaac was gushing over Regina, for instance but his disdain for Rumple a few episodes back. BUT for the ease of narrative, A and E will make them on the same page. If you were ever considered a villain (Zelena, Regina, Hook, Rumple) you are now a hero. If you were ever considered a hero (Emma, Snow, Charming, Belle) then you are now a villain.
Similarly, does the author write something like “and all the villains had their happy endings,” or does he have to write more specifically what happened?
Good question. No idea.
2) What’s in it for Isaac?
Yes. THAT.
He mentioned “experimental writing.” What does that mean? What has he been writing?

KeymasterHenry: Nothing.
OR stays in SB and has to rewrite the book as it was intended thus making him the new author.

KeymasterHowever, I am VERY bothered that Cora was able to speak such emotional truths when she doesn’t have her heart.
But we’ve seen Cora display a sick kind of affection for Regina. I think the fact that she doesn’t have a heart leads her to call the girl silly and goad her into making irrational actions. (Not that Regina didn’t make that call all on her own.)
But this seemed less sick affection and more genuine love, at least that last speech in the end where she was actually concerned for Regina’s well being and giving her profound life advice.

KeymasterI just can not get over the fact that they made Regina barren. What a heartbreaker.
It was. But I get the feeling that her soul mate will give her a child through the power of their true love. Or something fairy tale like that.

KeymasterZelena really is pregnant but won’t be raising her child. It sounds like Robin and Regina will be, with Zelena granted very limited contact. How do you feel about this solution?
I think this limited contact condition will change overtime…this whole pregnancy situation may somehow miraculously bring Regina and Zelena together as Regina helps Zelena through the whole process.
The question with that becomes will the writers allow Regina and Zelena time together to grow or will they just hand wave it away to Off Screen-Ville and POOF reconciled (a la Belle and her father)
