This episode was basically the middle of the road for me, honestly. Some good, some bad, and something truly horrible (but almost delightfully bad because it just confirms what I already know: A and E only like SHINY PLOT and not heart) If I had to rank it, it’s probably #3 of the season for me, after “Sympathy…” and “Darkness…”

I kept thinking of Moses and the burning bush/God from Exodus. The Apprentice is Moses, and The Sorcerer is God.
He’s totally our God-Insert.
I’m starting to think that we’ll never met the Sorcerer properly, just see hints of him.

Very predictable…and not in a good way. A few weeks ago we were joking around about “sister wives” ….Eeek! How little did we know that those things would become fact in the show.
It’s like they’re spying on us! No, seriously guys. Several of us have been joking about this for a few weeks.
My two cents: this is a terrible writing choice. TERRIBLE. It’s so soap opera-y and squicky.

Interesting, though I’m betting if they ever cast an actor to be shown, it won’t be him.

And since she’s in The Land Without Magic outside of Storybrooke, she didn’t have her spellcasting tactics (save the 6 leaf clover) at her disposal.

–Welcome Agnes! I thought she did very well in the role of Lily.
–The Lily and Emma showdown in the road was very well acted. I was riveted, though fighting the urge to ponder the philiosphical ramifications of what was going on)
–The flashbacks were decent if a little expected.
–The Rumbelle goodbye. I hate feelings things for the ship I swore I’d never ship again. It’s a dark path.
–Seeing the Sorcerer
–The Lily and Apprentice Twist was cool
–The car chase was well done

–Emma acting the way she is. Emma, listen. If you can be pushed to darkness, then MAYBE Lily can be pushed toward light? So holding a gun to her head? Not so good, kid.
–Will got something to do, but once again he feels like just an obstacle to Rumbelle with no larger story.
–I am not okay with the insane amount of ship baiting for ships that aren’t going to be canon in the future, like SQ and SF. There were so many “SF” moments in this that it made me happy/sad. Mostly sad. Of course Lily has a necklace too.
–Seriously. FATE OR FREE WILL. Make up your mind, OUAT!
DISLIKED
–HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! OF COURSE ZELENA IS PREGNANT. GOOD. LORD. This is a soap opera. Just..END this madness with this ship.
–No seriously, Regina’s soul mate got her sister pregnant. Just..WHY for the love of everything?!
–Some of the dialogue between Lily and Emma in the past was really tortuously bad and cheesy.
–Zelena is pregnant. I cannot with this.
–Emma is in Neal’s apartment for the first time since his death and has no reaction. At all. I’m just going to leave it there.
