ParticipantBut this seemed less sick affection and more genuine love, at least that last speech in the end where she was actually concerned for Regina’s well being and giving her profound life advice.
I think how self-aware Cora was about her own mistakes were the moments of ‘whaa?’ for me. For her to apologize about the Love is Weakness mantra was startling.

ParticipantI actually really liked this episode.
I liked the very adult conversation Regina and Robin had. It just needed to be much longer.
The Author’s speech to Regina was so meta. I loved it.
Regina’s blacksliding made a lot of sense. She is so impulsive and fueled by anger, she is easily manipulated. Which is exactly what happened.
Loved Mal and Lily. (I’m not crying) But I really want to know how old Mal is. She seems so wise. I hope she can stay!

– Zelena’s gloating over a pregnancy. Way to continue the cycle of abuse, Z. It’s a shame she seems to have no need for this baby besides trying to hurt Regina.
Regina acting so impulsively (again) and drinking that potion. NOOOOOOOO!
–No let’s NOT give Roland a memory potion. Let’s TALK TO HIM.
Really, this is a problem because HELLO BABY!

ParticipantIt was. But I get the feeling that her soul mate will give her a child through the power of their true love. Or something fairy tale like that.
That seems like a season finale type of play. I hope we get it.

ParticipantHowever, I am VERY bothered that Cora was able to speak such emotional truths when she doesn’t have her heart.
But we’ve seen Cora display a sick kind of affection for Regina. I think the fact that she doesn’t have a heart leads her to call the girl silly and goad her into making irrational actions. (Not that Regina didn’t make that call all on her own.)
Sweets
ParticipantThe question with that becomes will the writers allow Regina and Zelena time together to grow or will they just hand wave it away to Off Screen-Ville and POOF reconciled (a la Belle and her father)
If the show runners truly do just flip the dynamics in Storybrooke for Season 5, they actually might show this relationship developing.
I just can not get over the fact that they made Regina barren. What a heartbreaker.

ParticipantPoor, poor sociopathic Evil Queen. Cora is so demented to put that yellow rose on Daniel’s grave.

ParticipantIdc about Belle being alone, she’ll live.
The Outlaw Queen story has already proven that there can be more than one True Love on this show. I say bring on the studs… or you know they could create a storyline for Belle outside of a relationship with a man.

ParticipantGuess not? So Emma doesn’t actually have to go fully dark? Rumple just needed a drop of her darkness, which had been cast in Lily? That means Rumple was counting on Emma finding Lily and bringing her back to SB, rather than killing her, as Regina had assumed.
I don’t think Rumple planned on Lily being as crazy as she is. The conversation was almost like an interview. The things “Regina” was asking her were things she saw with her own eyes in the previous episode.
Sweets
ParticipantI’m telling you guys. Lily’s blood = ink for book.
Which….creepy. Blood magic!
So…does this mean Rumple doesn’t even need the Savior anymore?
Sweets
ParticipantYeah. I think you’re right on that. Because there’s no way real Regina would just let Emma slip into darkness. It’s Rumple, again. First he impersonates Hook and now Regina.
Rumple is the one that knows the Author needed a quill and ink.
