I think if you remember or know the truth about the curse then there is no need to change your name. Mr. Gold obviously wanted a name change, so people wouldn’t know who he really was or suspect he remembers. Regina and Jefferson have both kept their names because they remember. I still wonder if Sydney (you couldn’t exactly call him genie in SB, although Gene might have worked) knows and perhaps that nurse in the basement of the hospital.
As for the Mary and Margaret references for Snow in Red-handed, I think that was just the story writers having fun. I don’t claim to be as clever as them, but I might have come up with that idea trying to think of things in a breakout session with a group. It just made sense to tie it in, and I admit I loved it.

Oh, Phee, I was supposing that somehow Regina must come back and defeat the Queen of Hearts and take her vault. I mean Queen of Hearts. Must have been hers all along and Regina takes it. Maybe they make a deal, or hurmph, maybe there are two/twin vaults as you say.
He used the credit card to take a taxi to Emma’s so I just assumed he used it to buy his bus ticket as well.

Yes, yes, Jefferson saw through the telescopes, no one told him. I’m still wondering if he was actually stuck in that house until Emma came. That alone would have let him know she was magic — clock moves, doors can open…
Also can’t buy into Regina doesn’t know he’s there. I think she knows every character that is in SB. I don’t however think she keeps up with them all on a daily basis, and so if Jefferson, was locked in that house for 28 years, I imagine she had no idea he could even leave. I will have to look at that scene again where he talks about being there 28 years. If I were Regina, and I knew he knew the truth, I probably would have locked him up to keep him from upsetting the limbo of power and control I had. 28 years of stasis — what a false perception of control. Who would enjoy everything being the same day after day and thinking I’m victorious. That just sounds so boring. 🙄
I will say that In epi2 “The Thing You Love Most” Regina says to her father that everybody already thinks she is nothing:
Evil Queen: Daddy, I don’t know what to do.
Henry I: My dear, please. You don’t have to do this.
Evil Queen: I have to do something.
Henry I: Then move past this. I know this may sound self-serving, but you don’t need to enact the curse.
Evil Queen: But I can’t keep living like this. What Snow did to me, what she took from me? It’s eating me alive, Daddy. Her very existence mocks me. She must be punished.
Henry I: But, if the price is a hole that will never be filled, why do it? Stop worrying about Snow White and start over. We can have a new life.
Evil Queen: But what kind of life? All I’ve worked for, all I’ve built, would be gone. My power will disappear. They already think I’m nothing.

These two scenes sums up the EQ/Regina in a nutshell. She is bent on punishing SW to the point that she can’t think clearly enough to save her own father from her intent, even though we just saw her rescue him from Wonderland. Guess family wasn’t more important than her own vengeance. Also, there is a void in her heart that cannot be filled, which Rumpel reiterated on when talking to Charming and which Malificent stated as well. Lastly, the comment they already think I’m nothing somehow came about between Charming’s capture and his and Snow’s wedding, because everyone was at the wedding celebrating when Regina showed up with her promise of no more happy endings. So we have yet to see what circumstances turned everything around for Snow and Charming, and how Regina was brought low.
In Regards to getting rid of Emma — I think she could have done that for 28 years, she could have gotten rid of people, but her goal is not to get rid of but to control people and their destinies to an unhappiness she can relish in, knowing she provided it. Look at what she did to poor Jefferson. Looking through his telescope at his daughter all those years, waiting. It was his curse, he said. I’m wondering if FT characters can even die without some type of magic involved. Maybe that’s why Regina can’t touch Emma.
I do think sometimes she is conflicted but when she remembers what she has set out to do, it sets her course. The goal is not to get rid of but to rule over and control the destinies of others with unhappy endings.
Okay weedith, one more for me today… I claim Granny’s crossbow.
Hopefully some of the suggestions in my previous post will stir up some ideas in people. I am not claiming those, they were just suggestions to help people think, and can be claimed by anyone 😀

So many things people can claim: Regina’s apple tree…Jefferson’s hat… the white rabbit… Aladdin’s lamp…August’s typewriter… the Storybook… Grumpy’s pickaxe…Happy’s stein… castles…Jefferson’s telescopes… Emma’s bug… Graham’s wolf… love potion #9… Prince Charming’s kiss…LOL. Where is everyone on this? There must be something you would like to keep from OUaT.
The Heart Vault…Wonderland’s caterpillar…all the different object’s in Rumpel’s castle… Rumpel’s spinning wheel…
