ParticipantAfter the 5th sneak peek, I think August must clearly have an agenda against Mr. Gold, who is smart enough to act and confirm August knows about his dagger. I wonder if August was snooping around Mr. Gold’s shop looking for objects that link SB citizens to their FTL characters.
Also, we got a much better view of the paperweight in this shot, which confirms in my mind that it really is a donkey. While an interesting theory, I don’t think August is one of those other children who turned into a donkey. I think August is Pinocchio, which is why he seems to be turning back into a wooden puppet. Also, there was a scene from the cartoon version in which Pinocchio started to turn into a donkey by sprouting ears, but Jiminy saved him from that fate. So, it makes sense for August to have a donkey paperweight. I don’t think it’s just a red-herring.
Also, I think Regina was wearing Daniel’s golden band on one of her fingers. Look again.

ParticipantIs the paperweight definitely a donkey? Perhaps it’s a boy turning into a donkey. Of, course, I don’t mind if its a human-donkey hybrid, like in the Pinocchio story.

ParticipantA donkey? You may be right, and it would tie nicely into the Pinocchio theory. Yet, I’m also even more confused than before. The paperweight looks a little like a canine. Also, poor August seems to be in a lot of pain. It’s as if last episode’s “shin-splints” have morphed into total body hardening. Could August be transforming into wood right before our very eyes? Also he appears to be chatting with an unnamed stranger on the phone. Could the person on the other end of the phone be the author of the book? Whoever it is, that individual is also in on their plan. My guess is that the longer August remains in SB, the worse off he becomes, which is why their plan has to be accelerated.

ParticipantMy initial thought after watching the third sneak peek is that the only deal Mr. Gold ever broke was the one he made to his son. The episode summary reveals that Rumpel made a deal for his son to find a way to safely rid him of his dark powers and to become the loving father he used to be. There is also the official photo of Rumpel shaking his son’s hand as if he’s making a deal. I wonder if the consequence of not fulfilling that deal is losing his son. We saw Rumpel and Bae at the mercy of a green vortex in another promo, which is probably a portal to another world (this theory seems to be confirmed by the author of the episode, Jane Espenson, in an interview posted in the spoiler section). We saw another occurrence of this in episode 4, when Cinders tried to get out of her deal with Rumpel by having him sign another contract with a quil that removed his powers. Rumpel said no one ever breaks a deal with him, and then Cinders lost Prince Thomas in FTL. We have, however, seen Thomas in SB, which makes me wonder how he got there….worm-hole….
My second thought is that the ball Mr. Gold is holding is perhaps a ball that used to belong to his son, Baelfire, in FTL. Perhaps Mr. Gold is going all sentimental on us, like he did over the chipped cup in episode 12. I also love the way that Mr. Gold has one up on Regina again. Major pay-back for what she did to him in episode 12. All signs point to the fact that Regina was behind the conspiracy over Kathryn’s abduction. No matter how she tries, he can also say the magic word: “please.”
One of the most ironic things about that scene is that Regina did exactly what she warned Emma not to do in episode 8. Regina said, “[Mr. Gold’s] a snake. You don’t want to get into bed with him.” Regina seriously should have known better than to trust him. She also should have been more discerning. After all, Mr. Gold did tell her in episode 8, “I like small weapons you see: the needle, the pen, the fine point of a deal. Subtlety, not your style, I know.” In both that instance and the one in sneak peek, all Regina could manage to retort is, “You’re a bastard.” You’d think she learn. I love how episode 19 ties echoes lots of scenes in episodes 8 and 12, since all three episodes are written by the same screenwriter, Jane Espenson.

ParticipantThe main thing Jane Esperson said that is driving me up the wall with wonder is:
There’s more than one way to [give a] clue.
What does that mean? Are we supposed to disregard the obvious and look for the extremely subtle?

ParticipantAfter watching the first 2 sneak peeks, my thoughts are that this is going to be a really good episode. In the first scene, it feels like David is finally becoming a better man by apologizing to Kathryn for cheating on her. Let’s hope it remains that way, and he’d better not fall for Regina’s attempt to seduce him. Also, Kathryn seems remarkably well-adjusted considering the trauma she must have just come out of. Could she have no recollection of what happened to her in the woods?
In the second clip, my first thought was how human and normal Rumpel’s voice sounds. He seems to have more of his humanity at this early stage. It is rather like Golem’s transition in Lord of the Rings. The longer he possessed the ring, the more the ring possessed him. I wonder if Rumpel becomes less human and more creature-like the longer he is the Dark One and the more power he gains. He was able to stop the Ogre War and save thousands of children, but acceding to Bae, Rumpel hurts people all the time. I wonder if Rumpel, in his quest for more and more power, concocts a potion which has the consequence of creating the vortex we saw in the third promo.

ParticipantFor that to be true, wouldn’t Grace’s mother have to be Red Riding Hood? Jefferson, who remembers his life in FTL, would have to recognize Ruby in SB then.

ParticipantSeems like the finale will be a total game-changer for OUAT:
Prepare yourselves for a lot of OMG-worthy moments in the finale, according to Snow White/Mary Margaret herself, Ginnifer Goodwin! “I will tell you that you will be throwing things at the television,” she teases. “You will be shocked at where we’re taking it!”
As for what to expect from the finale, Jennifer Morrison says, “Brace yourself! There is not much that doesn’t happen in that finale. It’s pretty crazy.” ">http://uk.eonline.com/news/watch_with_kristin/spoiler_chat_daily_klaus_elijah_reunion/310289#ixzz1shN3PINa

ParticipantI’m guessing that whoever Dr. Whale is, he is going to be on the same side as Regina. We’ve already seen him calling Regina whenever something happens to David Nolan. Dr. Whale had a one-night stand with Mary Margaret, which makes me think he tried to keep David and MM apart. We’ve also seen him looking lecherously as Ruby. There is something seriously sinister about him.
