    Oooooh ….

What if … Gepetto asks the Blue Fairy to turn Pinocchio back into wood so that he could make him part of the wardrobe? Absolutely heartbreaking for Gepetto, but I could see him doing it if he thought it would help his son. Of course, I would think that would mean Pinocchio would be a puppet in SB … but it would fit the above spoiler and make it possible for Pinocchio to gone through without breaking the “one only” rule …

But if he did that wouldn’t Pinocchio be dead? And we saw Geppetto and Pinocchio working on the wardrobe putting the finishing touches by adding the doors.

I didn’t say it was a final theory. 😉 Just thinking out loud (or in type, as it were).

What if the Blue Fairy only made Pinocchio part wood again … and that part was wood from the tree? That could explain “shin splints” … August is part wood! 😀

I think everyone has really good thoughts about all this. I just always think why? It all sounds so complicated. I hope it is not so complicated somehow.

I think I just cried a little bit after reading the episode 20 spoiler. I was soo hopeful for something other than what it appears to be. Grrrrr it is a cruel cruel world.

Even if it turns out to be that, it’s always possible they do it in such a cool way that we’re all blown away anyway … even those who saw it coming episodes ago. 😀

That’s what I’m hoping. I want the writers to do something cool and original with the Pinocchio story. That’s the only way I’ll accept it. But I’ll wait until the episode airs to start ranting. 😆

I read this on TVOvermind.com: When Once Upon a Time returns from hiatus on April 22, expect to explore the theme of fathers-and-sons for a few episodes. We know that episode will focus on Rumpelstiltskin and his son (view photos) and now we know that the April 29 episode, titled “The Stranger”, will also feature Geppetto and his son.
The fact that the show will explore more than one father-son relationship and is devoting two separate episodes to it, further adds proof to the fact that clearly, the episode we will see when we get from hiatus will be about Rumpel/Baelfire and the following episode will be solely about Pinocchio/Geppetto. See, I knew the reason why the episodes were back to back was a red-herring 🙂
