1) Favorite Episode? Snow Drifts/There’s No Place Like Home. LOVED Emma’s character growth in them, was a very fun watch & felt like pure OUAT.
2) Least Favorite Episode? I have to go with the Tower as well, not because the episode was poor (& I too enjoyed Charming’s centric), it was just la very average for me compared to many of the other eps & I wish they had done more with Rapunzel.
3) What did you think of Zelena as a character/villain? I enjoyed her. Not in the same way I enjoyed Pan, but more in the same way I enjoyed Cora- I LOVED to hate her lol 😉
4) Favorite moment? This one is a little harder, I have so many favorite moments- but Killian punching out past!Hook, The scene leading up to the CS kiss outside Granny’s, the kiss itself (such a tender kiss) & Emma & Killian at Emma’s 1st ball, stand out most- probably because I just watch the finale again last night… Oh I LOVED Emma practicing magic at Granny’s (she was so happy) & again loved her scene doing magic with Regina at the bridge.Ok, so those arent one moment, but I cant narrow 3B down yet lol.
5) Overall rating for the season? I’m going to go with A or 4.5 out of 5, Very little I didnt enjoy this season & I can see me rewatching 3B as often as I rewatch S1.I would also like to add that he simply loves her. He wants to be around her, he wants to protect her and share adventures and life’s wonderfully simple pleasures (such as dancing) whether she “needs” saved or not. he loves her and sometimes, it is just as simple as that

Actually, I read that when it first came out, and sadly, I don’t think it makes one bit of difference how many times the creators and writers say it or it is seen in print. There are those fans who aren’t interested in proof or reason. Those who want to will ignore any proof of Neal’s death being pre-planned and played out script-wise months before viewers knew anything about relationship plans for Emma with anybody, monkey wings or leather clad physique. And they will continue the rallying “pandering” cry. Those particular fans want to ignore it and prefer living in denial about it because, apparently, it is more important to them to be nasty. They prefer repeating the empty “fan service” accusations, while ironically they think polls, demands and uncivil and classless comments to the writers about bringing Neal back wouldn’t be a case of A&E serving THEIR fandom or pandering to their wishes~ if they were given any credence. There are always groups of people who blame someone else for what they are guilty of, themselves. (Politicians ring a bell???) I felt badly for those in grief over the loss of their favorite character. I’ve been there, felt that at moments about other shows. It is a helpless and horrid place to go. But the purposeful, blatant meanness and classless behavior of some who have become champions of vulgar posts and disgusting comments on Tumble and Twitter has cast a very ugly shadow on their attitudes. They’ve become more than pesky. Their ugliness has attempted to become more important than the actual show. Every storyline is rushed in OUAT. No one gets an over abundance of air time with so many points to be made and story lines to tell. It is a genuine problem working with such a large ensemble cast with so many interesting stories to tell. Plot holes can be gaping. A&E often fall into that pit. And yet I felt there were some very special moments regarding Neal’s death. Some brutal, but still emotional.
Agreed- Adam, Eddy & cast have all explained things to fans through Q&A & interviews on multiple occasions, those who refuse to listen to those who are actually writing the story being told, nor the cast members who actually bring the characters we all know & love to life, are simply choosing to be hateful & spiteful for the sake of causing others injury.
IF people where keeping their “displeasure” of certain events to themselves/their respective fandoms & ships, then fine, I could respect that, we are ALL entitled to our opinions etc. But that’s not often the case, many arent doing this, they are choosing to tag Adam & in some cases, other cast members, in their hate fueled vendetta & therefore it is not their opinion they are discussing, it is attacking those they tag, since they always insist what Adam say’s in response to them is “wrong” or he’s “lying” etc. Then there is those whom seem to enjoy being malicious by targeting other fandoms & ships with hateful material, in an effort to try tear them down or stir them up/ enrage them… it’s that behavior I absolutely abhor & in no way can respect.
Sadly these fans are only going to shot themselves in the feet, by slowly but surely killing any positive feelings many other fans may have had for Neal, which doesn’t help their cause at all.
The *I will win it* quote is one of my favorites of Hook to Emma.
Hands down deliciously positive and yet romantically gallant. No trickery, just pure heart felt need~ after what I am see was a very telling, more-than-a-quick-simple-gratification-flirty-smooch-of-a- kiss for both of them. (and she gave it the added OOOOMMPPPH, if I recall~ wink) It was a softly spoken *heart skips a beat* moment of his confident and sincere devotion to her. He knew it, and my guess is she knew it, too. Stubborn denial is deep in Emma, but not totally hidden from a man with a heart like Hook. Mine to- I actually actually rank that scene a little higher than their 1st kiss, it’s one of my top 5 fav 3A scenes, because it shows not only how much he has changed, but how much more he wants to change more towards what he used to be, a man of honor- not just for himself, but to be worthy of Emma & her love in His mind. I think maybe that 1st kiss is where Killian got his 1st inkling of an idea of he & Emma being TL…. their kissing must equate to dopamine overload, since their kissing radically changing how he feels, has been mentioned twice by Killian now & their kiss rattled Emma enough, for her to feel the need to talk to Snow (while actually the MM part of Snow lol) about it 😉
I find it funny that Hook has been pursuing Emma for a while, but the moment he somewhat stops (because Zelena cursed him), Emma then begins pursuing Hook. Emma in 3B is not the Emma of season 1, 2 or 3A, it’s not because she’s OOC, it’s because between 3A and 3B, Emma has had a year living a happy life with Henry and 11 years worth of false happy memories with Henry. Emma still has her walls but they are not the same walls. Emma was in an 8 month relationship (lol) with Monkey boy whereas before in Season 1 she told MM that one night stands were as far as she went. Walshe was going to propose and Emma was considering whether or not to say yes because otherwise she would’ve said no straight away, she at least had to think about it.
100000000% agree with you- 3B Emma is in noway the same Emma as even end of 3A Emma- Fans didnt ban together to throw hate at Snow, Charming or anyone else in S2 (as far as I know), when those characters were freed from their cursed lives, yet automatically didn’t return to acting exactly like their EF selves- Because they are “Both“, so why should fans expect Emma too! That’s just being argumentative & full of hypocrisy :/
Whereas season 2 and 3A Hook would’ve probably told Emma about giving up the Jolly Roger for her and kept reminding her of it until she gave a reaction he was satisfied with,
Probably the only part I dont agree with out of your post- every else I agree with you on. We already have an example of that not being the case- Hook could have badgered Emma every chance he got that he saved her father from death, yet he didnt use that as a “reason” for her to spend more time with him. He hardly ever brought it up & still doesnt bring it up often, unless they are being unfair in their treatment of him. Hook has had many, many opportunities to set straight all the stuff he has done & why with Snowing & Emma, yet he mostly chooses to hold his tongue & let his actions speak for him (much to his fans frustration sometimes LOL… it’d be so much easier for him if he got out his violin like Rumple & Regina often do :p )
Moments in life CAN change you instantly. Even (especially?) those in fantasy.
Yes, they can- I’m living proof of that, I promise you! I remember clearly the 1st time I saw a video of the reality of commercial livestock sent to slaughter- I still see the images & sounds of cows too injured to move themselves, being piled into a heap, those on top slowly crushing the life out of those below them & thats the least of the horrors- I have NOT brought supermarket/commercial meat since- I just cant! What I saw totally changed me on a fundamental level- I went vegan (have been since) & my carnivore animals get humanly killed, ‘home kill’.
Having a patient, loyal, strong man (friend or lover) walking through life beside you does not diminish your strength (or independence)as a woman. It enhances it incredibly. The fact that he sensually oozes dashing rapscallion charm and possesses a gorgeous face that would make Aphrodite’s toes curl is just a pleasant side effect (grinnnn)

Emma’s getting hate because of her feelings for Hook? The haters in this fandom are disgusting. Just comes to show you, ‘shippers only care about their respective half of Emma ‘ships (Regina or Neal) and really DO NOT care at all about what Emma wants, or feels and that’s really sad. Granted Emma was not my favorite in season one but Tallahassee opened my eyes as to why she is the way she is and I like her now and I like Hook too. I care about both of them as characters and have always said, I care about both their happiness as characters. How many other Emma ‘shippers can say that?
For me, I started out as having Emma as my fav character in S1, then Emma & Hook were tied as my fav for S2 & S3A, Killian inched ahead to become my fav character (With Emma close 2nd & dare I say it… Regina a close 3rd now- I used to despise Regina in S1 & most of S2! lol) & while I consider myself a CS shipper (as I am emotionally invested enough in the ship to be sad/upset if it sunk 😉 ), I’m not a die hard shipper, who’d quit the show if my ship sunk- why… Obisgirl hit the nail on the head- I’m invested in the CHARACTERS themselves 1st & foremost (maybe even more so than the over all plot of the story…which often seems a little fuzzy- thought that was Emma returning & the final battle beginning… what ever that means lol)- it’s their stories & well being that I care about & am invested in most. Relationships/ships …. (Ohhh, click… wondered how such an odd term like ‘shipping’ came into being, but its just a reduction of relationships LOL- I feel like a total doorknob for not “getting” that waaaaaaay sooner lol …. naming it “shipping/shippers” makes total sense now)… anyway, back to what I was saying… having a great ship is just the icing on the cake, so to speak.
Killian respects Emma’s agency. I don’t remember a moment where he forced himself on her. Like really forced himself. He put out the suggestion for a first kiss but honestly, I don’t think he expected her to deliver. He’s confident because he knows her, he understands her and sees a lot of himself in her and that means, he “gets” her. He knew there was a deeper reason why Emma wanted to go back to New York and it wasn’t just to protect Henry (who was the “wall”)
Yes, exactly, I feel the same way about the 1st kiss & A&E, along with JMo & Colin have all said on more than one occasion that Emma & Hook see themselves in the other & “understand” each other, are “kindred spirits”, “share a special connection” etc. So why some fans still insist on not “seeing it”, when that is how those 2 characters have not only been introduced, written, played/acted & explained/described as being, is beyond me.
Wont bother quoting the “When I win your heart” dialogue” stuff & answering myself, as @Obisgirl all ready said waht I would say, with this:

Hook/Killian is extremely confident – not because he feels whoever is on the receiving end should be grateful, or owes him something for his love. And I don’t think it’s because he knows that person will ‘come around’ – it’s because he’s going to love that person irregardless of whether they return that love. Because he knows he is a better person for loving them, regardless of whether or not that love is returned. So when he says he will win Emma’s heart, it’s not that he will be playing games and not give until he gets the girl, he’s saying the reason Emma will return his feelings is because he will have earned them by being the person she wants – and more importantly – needs. What I think is most important in that exchange – He’s not giving her a timeline – he’s pointing out to her that neither one of them are ready at that moment – Hook has some work to do to become the right person for Emma, but he has no doubt he can become that person, because he loves her so much that he wants to become the person capable of being loved by Emma.

Gotta admit, I’m not a fan of the cover either & hope that’s not it- wouldn’t have been a fan of a Hook only cover either (& I say that as a BIG/Massive Killian/Hook fan). The Dvd cover should IMO, feature all the main characters, since the story involves them all- it’s not like they couldn’t do single character cases when they do ‘box sets’ 😉
I like that there’s going to be a special feature about the villains.
So do I- looking forward to seeing that & I’m hoping there’s some good deleted scenes too- Love the Hook/Jello scene from S2 lol.

Haven’t seen the Rite- dont do horrors at all lol (I saw a ‘based on true story’ horror movie when I was a kid & that was my 1st & last horror right there lol), so cant comment ton how Colin was in it- but will be watching his next movie (if it’s not a horror 😉 ).
Kind of feels like forever since the last ep- isnt filming meant to start back up on the 17th or 19th of July? (not that we can put much stock on whats filmed now *thinks of the infamous ‘hug’*) At least if there’s filming going on, Once will seem closer to being back on screen lol
