So I saw this on Once spoilers FB page & I thought it’d be a nice ‘game’ to play here as well š
1) When did you start shipping CS-
2) When did you start believing that Emma loves Hook/Killian?
3) When did you just know they were endgame?I’ll go 1st:
1) Tallahasse- Hook saying to Emma “You’re an open book to me”. That epic hand bandaging scene *Swoon* & the “I cant take the chance I’m wrong about you” from Emma + foreshadowing their relationship against the one that broke her.2)Hmm- harder to pin down Emma… I know she she had ‘feelings’ for KillyĀ in S2 when she told them “to find a room & hide him [Hook]” (after being hit by a car) & I think those feelings were definitely ‘romantic’ in nature by the NL “Wouldnt you like to know”, “Perhaps I would” scene, but I think Emma realised exactly ‘what’ she was feeling after that NL kiss- her actions afterwards are not those of “just making out with a hot dude, that I could develop feelings for”- it was more, ‘crud burgers… thats was too ‘right’, feel too much/too deeply- cant get hurt again- cant push him away because of my feelings, but have to hide those feelings as to scary to go there again’ reaction.
The “Good” scene I think is when she finally allowed herself to ‘admit’ it, but I’m sure she loved him before that moment.3) Ok, so I admit I thought/hoped they were endgame very early on, but A&E cemented it for me when they had Hook leave, then throw away his sure shot of living/escaping destruction, turn aroundĀ & do what no one else had ever done for her before- Hook came back for her/to her.

I like that about us too. Itās healthy to be able to look at a scene and poke fun of it and at the same time analyze the hook out of it.
fyi, I am going to Las Vegas tomorrow for a one week vacation. I should be able still to view the forums since Iāll be bringing my Mac with me. And Iāll definitely have my iPhone with me. It rings when thereās a new post on the forums.
but in case Iāll be too busy, I just wanted to say Iāll be thinking of you all.

Hope you all are enjoying the holiday weekend with something fun and peaceful!

Just a side comment during the hiatus when lifestyles, summer, realities take us away from the concentrated attention to OUATā¦I find that other than the camaraderie of fellow Hooksters, Emmites, CaptainSwanners here, many times I enjoy the show so much more when it isnāt cluttered with the persistent hate and pettiness of so many Internet dwellers who want to do nothing but complain and suck the life out of everything when things donāt go as they envisioned, dreamed, hoped.
General viewers and non-Internet-addicted (grin) Oncers have very little problem with what is going on and can enjoy the show for exactly what it isā¦escapism entertainment with tons of imagination!ā¦and a damn good looking cast (grin). The general consensus of those real life Oncers in my work force and public contact has been one of looking forward to the fall and the introduction of Elsa.
The biggest detriment to the show is not lapses of consistency in writing nor faulty plot lines or (fill in the blank with any words insinuating pandering) It is the pungent killjoy attitude of viewers and posters who canāt embrace anything but negativity no matter what. Nothing will be good enough for those types.
Colinās Hook has grown immensely in character yet has (thanks to Colinās talent) maintained his charm, appeal and passion along the way. Heās an original. I have gone through many stages of Captain Hook performances over the years, and each one has been quite unique. There is no one definition. Just more to enjoy.
And I for one WILL enjoy whatever new adventures other creative minds create for my entertainment

I love that Onceās Captain Hook is different from previous portrayals. Iāve never viewed the character of Hook as āsexyā.
It used to be when I thought of Hook, he was exactly how Emma described him in Quite the Common Fairy. That cliche interpretation just wasnāt sexy.
But more than that, I love how layered Hook is here on Once. Heās like Rumple where weāve seen him at different stages of his life and each phase, he has a different personality.
I donāt think I would enjoy the character as much if he was the same pirate we knew from Disney. Heād still be fun to watch but I donāt think Captain Swan wouldnāt have caught on as it did.
