Not sure I really like the WW’s symbolism in this gif- she just gets creepier, more twisted & sick with each ep – she’s doing an awesome job of being a villian we love to hate lol
I can also see MANY fanfics being written thanks to this little scene 😉

After I read that, my mind went immediately to my true love meta because I have a section that discusses unconditional and conditional love. I also talk briefly about true love’s kiss too but I totally agree, circumstances can be manipulated for a true love’s kiss but like with true love, and love in general, it must be freely given.

If Z wants to moves it faster we need Hook to tell Emma about said cursed lips – he doesn’t need to tell her everything about how Z tricked him into saying her name etc. Get Hook and Emma and Henry all together, threaten Henry, give Emma the ultimatum and then it’s Emma’s choice to sacrifice her magic. “Nothing is worth the life of a child.” Emma kisses Hook and happiness ensues. (Well, I’d like to see happiness ensue)

its so funny – Zelena acts like CS kisses all the time and Hook is now abstaining. I love that line about how he likes to be courted. cute.
Hehe, I know right- WW is the biggest CS shipper in the OUAT universe (she’s taken over regina’s crown there too lol) :p
Plus, it’s ridiculous to have cursed Hook’s luscious lips and then seriously, not have a major payoff for doing so.
Not to mention Emma’s longing looks (which she didn’t deny to Regina).You took the words right outta my mouth 😉 No way do you slap such a specific & ridiculous curse into play & not have a payoff on it!

See this is the kind of thing they say- knowing we’ve all seen Emma wondering around with a massive ring on her finger, but they also add in the wedding thing– but when they say it, it should come off as “one” concept- ring = wedding, yet somehow it comes of as there is a ring on “someones” finger, oh & there is also a wedding. If their goal in life is to drive us insane- then it’s working lol 😉
So I am now pretty much convinced it was a “good guy” who either enacted the curse to get back to Emma because she is the only one whose magic is strong enough to defeat her or they came back to SB along with a protection spell for the baby and Zelena is now trying to break the protection spell. The only thing I’m not sure about is whether the protection spell would actually be considered a “curse” – I know the memory loss is bad but is it a side effect of the protection spell? It would seem odd to have TLK break a protection spell. That would be something good breaking something that is also good. Unless the protection spell was just part of the curse that brought them back to SB and erased their memories.”
I’m really liking this train of thought. Maybe that’s why they sent Hook to NYC, because if whoever cast the curse knew the price would be memory loss, then they would need TLK to break it. But why then did Zelena retain her memories if she was part of the curse and not the one who cast it? UGH! WE NEED ANSWERS ALREADY!!!!
You’ve hit on some of my issues with the theory here as well lol.
not sure of that theory. when they first arrived back in the EF seemed that Aurora was not willing to even warn the others about the WW for fear of what the WW would do their baby. ohhh, speaking of baby, I had previously thought that WW need any baby for her plan, but she did have Aurora’s in the EF too – so I guess it does have to be Snowings.

This is an interesting theory (not sure I buy it though, as a few things are off)
What if we’ve all got this wrong?
What if the curse wasn’t actually a curse but a protection of sorts, to protect the Snowing baby and everyone else from Zelena’s plan? What if they are tied together. kinda like Cinderella, and as long as the curse is around, the baby can’t be born?
Because it’s almost been out right stated at this point that Zelena didn’t cast it.
In fact a curse is completely unnecessary and a hindrance to her plan if you think about it. She could have collected all of that,stuff as easily in EF as she did in Storybrooke. She already had Rumple, in EF Charming was in constant hero mode, and Regina’s heart would have been tricky but do-able. Even the baby would have been easy. Which is why the Storybrooke thing has always confused me, it was unnecessary from Zelena’s POV.
It would also explain why Zelena was so insistent that Emma and Killian kiss. She wants the curse broken so she can get the kid. Remember that Walsh was sent after Emma to keep tabs on her, and to keep her away in general, 7 months before the the curse was cast. It may have taken Zelena a while, hello midwife, to figure out what they’d done and what she needed to do to counter act it. So she decided to go with the status quo and keep Emma away.
Now she wants it broken, but she can’t come out and say that because they think she cast it, and if they knew she wanted it broken; then they’d never actually break it. She she’s manipulating the situation to get them to do what she wants, all while they think they’re doing the opposite.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this week ended with a TLK between Emma and Killian, and then clipped to a shot of Snow going into labor.
