Golden: Do you think we’ll ever see Daniel back and not evil/crazy? Do you think she’ll give up after this and try and move on, or do you think she’s going to try and keep him hanging around for the future? I personally think that she’ll realize that it’s not fair to him to keep dragging him around everywhere and poking and prodding and magic-ing and science-ing him, and she’ll come to a really powerful character moment where she decides to let him go in one way or another. Maybe have a funeral or something. Maybe even the beginning to a possible reconciliation with Snow?
Hmmm…….great thoughts saime 🙂 I think we’re going to see her do something good and save the town from the monster. Henry has now become much more important to her than Daniel so I think your suggestion of her letting go and moving on makes a lot of sense.. His safety will come first. She’ll take his heart, just as her mother did before her, only it really isn’t his heart, it’s a heart from her little “heart pantry” 😉 She’ll put him back on ice, in the glass casket in her mausoleum. Gypsy, by the way, believes the mausoleum is the sealed off room near where the hearts are all kept. We’re going to sympathize with her this episode and hopefully we’ll see a Reggie fully intent on trying to change her wicked ways. At least, that’s how I’m hoping things go down.
Now Jefferson lost his head and still survived to see another day. So why can’t someone who has lost a heart not do the same? We do have heart transplants in the modern world. Perhaps somewhere down the line we’ll see a new Daniel, but not right now (maybe even a Graham or Mihla).

ParticipantJust thought of something. We know in the real story, Peter Pan loses his shadow when it gets caught in Wendy’s window, after the Nurse shuts it.
Neal Cassady loses his phone when trying to shut the window. T-Mobile makes an HTC phone called The Shadow and it looks an awful lot like Neal’s phone. Did Neal lose his shadow while trying to shut a window?

ParticipantDaniel is the Frankenstein monster that Dr. Whale, aka Dr. Frankie, tried to reanimate back in FTL. It didn’t work. Thus Regina keeping Daniel’s body encased in a glass casket in SB. However, I believe Dr. Whale attempted to Daniel back again, in SB and was successful as we see his body missing from the casket. That’s why we see Daniel skulking about in the shadows of SB. We also see Regina looking in horror at a hospital gurney covered in blood. On that gurney is Dr. Whales left arm. Remember 2 months ago, when we saw stills form 2×05. In them we saw Whales left arm wrapped up in green tape, his shirt torn below the left shoulder and covered in blood and he was carrying around cooler. I’m sure the cooler contains his missing arm that Daniel tore off of him, once Whale brought him back to life. Regina may have to reach in and take Daniel’s replacement heart so that he can finally rest in piece. It will be interesting to see who’s heart Dr. Whale used this time. I think it was a murderous heart from someone dark and evil.

ParticipantI’ve always said that Bae went to other world’s before coming here and am convinced he’s Peter Pan. Would be nice to see him as other characters as well. I like the Norse mythology. Thor was always a favourite so I wonder if we’ll see him swinging a hammer at some point. Maybe we’ll even see Loki, The Trickster God. 😉

Wait a minute, Regina brought over Daniel’s dead body to Storybrooke and kept it in a glass coffin? And now, it’s missing. 😮

James Whale was the director of the Frankenstein movies for Universal in the 1930’s
😮 😯
I googled to double-check that factoid and google says it’s true. 😮
obisgirl. James Whale was also portrayed by Brendan Fraser, in the 1988 film, God & Monsters. The film itself was a clue. Another clue was that whale’s critics said in doing the movie Frankenstein, we could interpret this as “his feeling that he was a misunderstood outsider, a lonely monster”. Leads us right back to Archie’s notebook on Dr. Whale “feels persecuted and misunderstood”. There were well over 30 clues leading to Dr. Frankenstein. The biggest of all, is Rocky Horror Picture Show. Dr. Frank N. Furter was a lecherous sexual deviant form another planet/world. Remind anyone of a certain skirt chaser in Storybrooke? Or the blond monster in the movie Rocky who swung both ways. Now we know why the unknown patient, in the hospital changed from blond (male) to blonde (female). Lots of clues in the game Untold Stories.

ParticipantPhee! You always know what to say to make me feel better. Feeling strong again about Peter=Bae. Thank you my friend 😀
PS Don’t blame K&H. I grew up on Mary Martin’s Peter Pan. Yes, my childhood imaginary friend was Peter. Was a little indignant when my friend next door (we were like 5 or 6) decided she could see him too! 😆

Considering how closely they’ve guarded the secret of his identity, it must be irritating for all involved to have had it given away so blatantly in the promo.
I was never that caught up on who he’d be during season 1. Had had a couple of ideas, but didn’t really waste a whole lot of brain power on it until the season 2 spoilers started, and then I suddenly, desperately wanted to know. It’ll be great to finally have his identity made official…so we can move on to obsessing about something new instead. 😉

TeamFrankie must be feeling right now how TeamPinocchio was towards the end of last season. I was totally fist pumping and dancing in my seat when that went down. 😆
Can’t lie Phee, it felt pretty good,, especially considering how many people poo poo’d the Frankie theory, especially on the OUAT FB page.
I think we’ve already starting obsessing about mystery man Neal Cassady 😆 and you know what? That’s ok. That’s what these boards are for 🙂

ParticipantBest thing for me will be seeing him as Dr. Frankenstein. I guess it’s different when your theory actually comes to fruition. Can’t explain the excitement. But was a little bummed out that the promo ruined it. Still, I will never trust those promos!
I know how you feel Surayya. I feel the same way about all the Archie’s threads. I don’t know what everyone’s obsession is about Archie, but crumb, give it a rest! Does he have a girlfriend; does he hop from bed to bed; does he change back to cricket for a few hours each evening; and the threads go on and on! 😛 😈 😆

ParticipantSomething interesting a friend said. Neverland itself didn’t have magic. Tinkerbell did and Peter could fly, but that was the extent of it. Maybe Neverland originally never had magic. Maybe Tink was sent there, after the fact, to look after Bae, especially after Blue saw that Rumple abandoned him. I don’t know…….sigh…….so many possibilities.
What I do believe, is that Bae is TOO important just to end up as a small bit fairy tale character. Peter Pan is as big as they get. Jack and the Beanstalk just doesn’t get the WOW factor from me. Now Robin Hood would work, as Robin has deep grounded morals and fights for righteousness.
