It has to do with what the blue fairy said. As long as he remained brave, truthful and unselfish, he would remain a real boy. And he failed to keep his promise about Emma. He left her even though he promised to stay with her.

I like the idea that a few have suggested about doing some character studies on the podcast. Like deep analytical thinking about those characters. That sounds cool!
That would be awesome! I’m all for that idea.
theladybelleParticipantI’m from Denmark.
The show has aired in Denmark, but we haven’t gotten as far as USA. My sister has been able to record some of the episodes, which I have seen. And I have been able to watch a few clips here and there and also read the synopsis for each episode on the internet.theladybelleParticipant@Midnight Dreary wrote:
Another reason why I’m glad Emma won’t be working with Mr. God is because it would be ridiculously out of character for her.
Mr. God? Not to sound blasphemous, but you’d be right about that! 😀
theladybelleParticipantI am really looking forward to the next episode!
The scene with Mary Margaret and Regina was great. I like how MM is very… perceptive, you know? She sees that Regina isn’t pure evil(but hey, there aren’t any pure evil characters on this show anyway), she understands that Regina is lonely, and that’s what’s behind the evil things she does.
And I just love the scene with Geppeto and Pinocchio! It was just so good, and I really like the music in that scene too. I like how they portray Pinocchio. He really loves his father and doesn’t want him to sacrifice his life so Pinocchio can survive. And it also reminds me why I think Pinocchio is one of the most heart-breaking movies of all time. These two people going through so much to get back to each other and not wanting to lose each other.
I am also looking forward to how the custody battle will go. I agree with what was said on the podcast for The Return. Maybe neither Emma or Regina will get custody of Henry. That could be. I can easily imagine that the two would just keep throwing accusations at each other and in the end put themselves in a bad light. And it’s pretty clear to me that Mr. Gold will play a significant role, even if he at first denies wanting to do anything.theladybelleParticipantLast night I dreamed that Archie and Ruby where having a baby, a girl as I recall, and Archie was by Ruby’s side through the whole thing.
I think the dream comes from the fact that I have a soft spot for those two as a couple. Archby is so cute!theladybelleParticipantNice! I wonder what they are talking about.
theladybelleParticipantOkay, I have another theory about August being Baelfire. Well, sort off. It’s just things I’ve noticed. Think Star Wars.
– I think the writers once said they love Star Wars. That might be wishful thinking on my part, but I think they did say that.
– Rumple’s story is so much like Anakin’s story in SW. He’s afraid to lose someone he loves(Bae, Padmé) and makes a pact with the devil(The Dark One, Palpatine/Sith Lord). He thinks he will be able to save the one he loves with the power he’s given but still ends up loosing the one he wanted to save.
– Both Anakin and Rumple were told about the power by the one who posseses it to begin with. That person(The Dark One, Palpatine) seems friendly at first but has his very own reason for telling Anakin/Rumple about the power.
– Bae also says “I have a bad feeling about this”(famous SW quote as you know), or at least attempts to before his father interrupts him.
– The next episode is called The Return. Return of the Jedi?
–From the promo photos we know that Bae and Rumple will have scenes together that take place after Rumple becomes The Dark One. Therefor August/Bae returns, surely to try save his father. Hence the title The Return.I am trying not to hope too much that August is Bae. I hope he is, but I don’t want to be disapointed if/when is doesn’t happen. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens next. There are several good theories out there, so who knows what’s true?
