Once is getting so meta. First when the villains were being all “we’re villains! we don’t get happy endings!” Now the people in the stories are aware they are in stories and want them to be told.

Recreating Aladdin without the genie? Eh…but yeah, I also don’t think the OUAT writers and possibly any other actor would be able to do the character justice. At the very least, i’d hope for Jafar taking the place of the genie in the story. That would be a twist I could deal with and we all speculated it before.
Who knows, if this guys a comedian, maybe he is the genie.

I really don’t think the writers want to do a musical episode at all.
I think they are willing, but it would take a lot of work. Song writing….fitting it into the plot…would the actors be able to sing, and what kind of style… I understand why they haven’t done it. A lot of things would need to be perfect. I hope they do, but who knows. Does anyone know if the cast have ever sang in other shows or films? I know Colin has, right? Hm…

It probably be one of the new characters regardless. I was going to suggest Regina, but she wouldn’t be a new patient, since I believe she’s already talked to him before. I don’t think Emma really has any reason to go to him, unless she feels guilty about Robin dying. Maybe Jekyll or Hyde will have some woes to work out.

They’d disguise their spells as songs so you would get the musical episode without it being an actual musical episode like in Buffy.
I’d like this. Or if they want to do a musical episode all they’d have to do is bring in Giselle. Her very presence causes people to sing and dance, and its established in her film that shes from a different world. C’mon A&E we are giving you guys gold here!!!

I kind of see OUAT’s version of Tiana being younger. Since Disney’s version was based in the “real world”, I think Tiana’s story could take place in Storybrooke where she is working as a waitress in Granny’s Diner but dreams of owning her own place etc.
Isn’t Tiana 21 though? I can’t see the role being played by a 16 year old. Brandy was 18 when she was Cinderella, so shes like 30 or so now, but I think she could still play an older Tiana, after the happy ending, who has now been cursed to lose her crown, lose her restaurant, and be slumming it in a diner once again.
Either way, I’ll still be dreaming about Michael Ealy as Prince Naveen and no one can stop me!
