I think its safe to say the enchanted forest is completely empty…. Which is scary…. There is an entire dimension devoid of human life…. Wowzers….

I like the idea of Glinda refusing to help them directly because she loved Z. But I just think making the character in love with anyone would be a bad move. Zelena seems more reckless to me if she doesn’t have some sob love story behind her. Its not that I don’t wish to see her in a female/female relationship. I just want to see her alone, envious, and wicked.
As for the novel, I never really saw romance in Galinda’s and Elphie’s interaction. I can see how others can see it but I’ve read that book a million times and to this day I just…. Don’t. Some people see attraction between Boq/Elphie and I dont. Even if Elphie kissed Boq I dont think id have read it romantically. The only person in that book who I see romance for Elphaba was fiyero and even that came years after they met. If Gregory Maguire intended from the start to be implying Glinda/Elphie had a thing I guess it just flies over my head.

We know the water that runs through all the realms is magical–Nostos, Nyx’s waters, ect. The water that surrounds SB is just good ol’ fashioned H2O.
Didn’t August say that magical waters ran through all lands and connected them? I thought that was how the mermaids traveled through different lands?

Zelena being earth and Glinda being water.
That sounds awesome!! I hope that means the other “sister witches” repesent fire and air… That’ll be ironic if the east witch is air (since she will get killed by a cyclone dropping a house on her, I assume)

Then clearly Dorothy throws water from the well at the witch… So I’m getting cookies that well is the Ozian Well of Wonders.
