I’d be surprised if she even knows what a nun is. So I can imagine her having difficulties adjusting. But seeing as they will have both their magic and their memories, I am sure very little nun work will be going on… Wait a minute..

He is in some Oz traditions. In some he’s a con man, in some he’s a bumbling old fool. But in “Wicked” he is loathsome. Like…really loathsome. So I could totally see A and E making the WoOZ a real tyrant who rules his people with an iron fist.
INDEED!!! The wizard was truly a wicked man in the novel of Wicked (barely so in the musical). He doesn’t raise the witch though. He doesn’t find out she’s his daughter till after she has died, but still. That man was a terrible person, murderer, and he had the ability to do magic but couldn’t because he didn’t have the grinmerie (book of spells) So trust me. If Adam take that version of the wizard and use him in Once… Beware my friends. Beware.

All the Sultan had to say was that Jafar was his son and that he loved him and Jafar would have stopped his evil plan. Even if it wasn’t true, the Sultan could have prevented everything. ARG. I wish I could make up my mind.
“Get back in your cage, father.” 😛 best line of that episode. I think the Sultan was just a pudding bag. He deserves all he has coming. Look at what he had caused his son to become!! In a way, all the people Jafar has killed and hurt through the years… He is sort of responsible because of his pudding bagginess (I’m sorry. I just make up weird terms when I’m bored). He could have ended it at any point just saying those three magic little words. But no.

I could see that too. But unless Henry Sr was really and truly under her control from the beginning, how did she spirit the child away to Oz (like I assume she did) without him knowing? Did she fake the child’s death?
So again… I ask… Who has seen Wicked 😛 this reminds me of the part where the show the witch being born and her [unbiological] Father’s reaction *singing* “Like a groggy fern-y cabbage! The baby is unnaturally….GREEEN!!! Take it away! Take. It. Away!”

In one way, he gets a cheap/free new servant boy, another way, he gets to keep him on a close leash so he can’t get out and spread rumors that he is the son of the sultan and a street rat-woman (street mouse?). Sure Pan may have never loved Rumpel. But he kept him around for years, provided for him, and atleast gave him a home with the three ladies when he did decide to leave. He even went to a different land with his boy. Pan is a horrible father but in a different way. I feel like Malcolm probably still would have jumped in front an arrow (they didn’t have guns 😛 see what i did there) for child-Rumpel before he was changed back into a lad. But the sultan? No way. He’d have been the one to shoot the arrow at child-Jafar.

She wanted her to be queen! Sure, she killed her lover and forced her to be with a man she didn’t love and was emotionally abusive, but considering who she is up against in this thread, she is the lesser of three evils.
Pan was just the worst type of person. He admits to never loving his son. Ever. Tries to kill him and everyone he loves and was just a douche (can I say that word?) He was a bad man.
The sultan arguably though is the worst. His son genuinely loves him in a way neither Rumpel nor Regina has been shown to love their parents. Jafar would fight for his father!! He said so himself! Without magic even!!! The extent of Jafars love for his father is incredible and yet the sultan denies him that bonding at the least! To me…. The sultan is the worst father (if not Pan :P) becuae he has no reason for WHY he doesn’t love his son. He just doesn’t.

Personally, I’m going with the greenness by apple theory. Just like in the Disney prequel. But I would also think it’d be a nice twist if we find out maybe she was the original dark one and creator of the dagger. The witch does have quite a few magical objects afterall
