Unless I am missing something, this question was definitively answered in “The Return.”. Rumple created the curse in order to follow Bae to the land without magic. Right?
[adrotate group="5"]weedithParticipantThis kind of brings us back to the question of what it means for the curse to be broken. It doesn’t seem likely that they will all go back to FTL because then it would all be for naught as far as Rumple is concerned. Are we to believe that Mr Gold has been looking for Bae all along? Or does breaking the curse simply mean they are able to leave Storybrooke so THEN Mr Gold will be able to leave and look for Bae?
weedithParticipantFirst, I apologize to everyone whose claimed objects have not gotten on to the list. Not sure when it went off the rails. If you wouldn’t mind checking to make sure what you called is noted on the first post in this thread and then either post a comment here or send me a pm and I will fix it. (Stupid real life is not providing as much time as I would like for surfing this forum!!!)

Could I also be keeper of Mr. Gold’s house in Storybrooke? I love the fact that its pink. 😆
In my mind’s eye it is yellow/gold. Am I completely insane?
weedithParticipantWell since the Evil Queen has the word Evil in her name, it is easy to conclude that she is….you know……evil. And she is set squarely against two of the undeniably good characters in the show, Emma and Snow. For these reasons, I think Regina is destined to be defeated. I think ultimately it will be Emma who defeats Regina, but she will definitely have help from many quarters, with Rumplestiltskin among them.
Does this make Rumple good? I don’t think so. Except in a “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” sort of way. So is Rumple good or evil? On the surface, he seems to do evil things. We have seen him kill, although his murder of the Dark One and the soldiers was arguably justified. He certainly lies. He certainly manipulates people. But again, his manipulation is only possible because people want something for nothing. They want a shortcut. The only selfless deal we have seen so far was Belle, who sacrificed herself to save her village. Rumple presumably created the curse, which seems to be a pretty evil entity. But again, I think it is reasonable to wait and see what his end-game is before passing final judgment on that. By the time it’s all over it may look like the ends justify the means.

Hey Weedith…I had requested to be the keeper of Mr. Gold’s tie collection but didn’t see it posted…just wanted to make sure you caught it. Thanks!
The internet ate my homework!!! Honestly!! (Srsly, there was a whole group that got missed. I had done an update and apparently didn’t hit submit or did something else equally absent-minded. 😳 I think I have everybody caught up now.

Sorry. I think one big update didn’t get saved. I’ll fix it.

I’m sorry, but who am I under? Meaning which category is the curse under? I thought Regina, but I don’t see it
I put it under Storybrooke Places and Things. No problem to move it if you prefer it under Regina.

Can I be the keeper of Snow’s cloak and boots? Love them. I would also like Dreamy’s pickax please.
Sorry. Nemertes already called the axe. Gotta speak up quicker!

Sorry thought only Grumpy’s pickax was taken. Will look closer next time. Do I get Snow’s cloak and boots and the wolf?I was thinking it was the same and the name just changed. Were there two different pickaxes?
weedithParticipantSo do you think Regina’s whole plan was about hurting Snow and everybody else is just collateral damage? Or in her pain, did she want to hurt everybody and not have to watch anyone else
be happy when she was miserable? -
