This felt really out of the blue, and I’m still wondering why every realm falls on Emma’s belief when she’s only Fairy Tale Land Born. Like Oz, Neverland, Wonderland, & etc should have nothing to do with her because she has no attachments to those realms unless it’s all somehow tied into whose in her family. I’m just so confused on this!

I’m sure Teletubbies vs Barney would’ve been a more epic fight than what we got tonight! Like, it was cute and neat, but all the hype of “The Final Battle”, “The Final Battle”, “The Final Battle” and all we received was swords clashing for a second, Emma’s speech, shining light, and then Baby Gideon. Really?!!! That’s it?!!! Huge letdown, but what’s done is done!!!
And the Black Fairy’s Curse….I’m sorry, but this woman literally ran a realm full of absolute darkness and all her curse did was make a replica of Storybrooke. Her threat level was high before the curse, but during it…it just felt so…ordinary.

When One Story Ends…Another One Begins
1) What was your favorite episode of S6B?
Favorite S6B Episode: 6×14, Page 23
My favorite episode of S6B has got to be 6×14….Lana’s performance was so powerful and the message it sent out of loving and accepting yourself, the good, the bad, and the ugly was wonderful!
Runner Up: Song In Our Heart
I enjoyed this episode! Sure, it was cheesy, but the cast clearly had a blast making this episode and it showed in their performances.
2) What was your least favorite episode of S6B?
Least Favorite: 6×17, Awake
The retcon of retcons lie in this episode!!! It was neat in some spots, but all over the place in others. And don’t even get me started on the “evil detecting” flower, which is as magical McGuffin as you can get.
Runner Up: Murder Most Foul
3) There were many plot threads throughout all of S6B but which was your favorite?
No matter how often he screwed up, I think my favorite plot thread was Rumple trying to do right by Gideon. Bobby really was spectacular this season, and it was nice to see him playing opposite a “son” figure again. However it also ties with the Evil Queen & Regina arc, which was still really well done and marvelously performed by Lana. And yes, I still believe they should have been merged back together.
4) What were your favorite and least favorite moments?
Favorite Moment:
I think my all time favorite moment from this season half, had to be in the season finale when the Dwarves bowed and gifted Regina with her office, and placed the word “Queen” instead of “Mayor” on it. I felt that this was 100% full circle with Regina, that she and everyone else have finally put the “Evil Queen” in their past, and just see Regina now as simply “The Queen”. This finalized redemption was my favorite moment, probably of the entire season.
Least Favorite:
My least favorite scene….I think I’m too sleepy to think of a scene that I absolutely hated this last season half, so I’m just going to say any scene that had a retcon.
5) Should this have been the end of the series?
I whole-heartidly believe this should have been the series finale. That ending montage showing everyone’s happy ending, and finally seeing what I presumed to be was the “CharMillsStilskin Thanksgiving” dinner with the entire family enjoying their happily ever after together…that would have been a perfect ending.
6) What would you like to see in S7?
To be honest….I wouldn’t mind seeing the new generation. I know Regina, Hook, & Rumple are coming back….but I’d love to see Adult Henry teaming up with teenage/young adult versions of Prince Neal, Robyn Mills, & Gideon as well. I take it Henry’s around 28 in the flash forward, so it could work.
7) Final grade and thoughts on S6B?
In the beginning, it was definetly a little rocky as far as pacing and storylines go, however I think they managed to at least find a smooth enough groove to move the story along without making it even more confusing or retconny. Kudos to the actors and actresses, who gave their all with the material they had, and were incredible. I’ve really no clue where we’re going in Season 7, but I know Bobby & Lana wouldn’t have signed on if it’s going to be absolutely terrible….so with them on board, I’m pessimistic, but hopeful that it’s at least entertaining! Remember guys, always lower your expectations with OUAT, it will save you a lot of heartache and headaches! Onward and forward now I guess we’re moving…onto the next chapter of this story.

A little slow at first, but it picked up as it went.

Rating: 8/10
This could’ve been it!!! Like…this was a great way to end not just the season, but the series!!!

Awww…Belle and Rumple get their fresh start!! Given that this is technically the last, I guess I can let their recent troubled history slide.

So…how does Emma still have an apartment when she hasn’t paid her rent in the last three years?!!
So Charming falls from stories heights to his death and TLK brought him back?!! HOW?!!! Since when did TLK bring back the dead?!!
Disliked:
I’m letting slide a lot of minor issues because this is the end of our version of the series, but certain things are definetly questionable.

If Belle takes Rump back, I seriously think we need to have an intervention to talk some sense in her.
In recent interviews A and E make it sound like they are going to get back together because of Gideon? I dunno. I suspect Rumple has some sort of hidden agenda because he told Belle that everything he did was for her and their son and this directly before revealing he had tricked the CharMills so I think there’s something we still don’t know. But I sorta think Rumbelle just need to divorce and focus on raising their son together but separately
Right. It would be nice. As it would show a different kind of fairytale pairing that’s unconventional in most stories. Sometimes the prince and princess don’t stay together. But they can still raise their family. Similar to Emma and Regina co-parenting Henry.
At least it won’t be too awkward, Gideon’s a grown man so the co-parenting would be at a minimum. And I doubt they’re going to just de-age him at this point, and to be honest….my heart goes out to the Rumbelle shippers.
But here’s another theory guys! What if Season 7 doesn’t take place in Wish Realm, but it still has to do with Wish Realm characters. If someone in Wish Realm casted the Dark Curse there, it could potentially send all of Wish Realm Characters to our world, but not necessarily to Storybrooke….which would explain why we wouldn’t need Steveston Town anymore because it’d be in a new location. It’d be technically a reboot, and we’d still have “Evil Queen” Regina, Rumple, & Hook leading the show.
With budget cuts, I just can’t see Adam and Eddy doing a whole season in Wish Realm Enchanted Forest. Like the CGI….I’m worried.

Only if they actually *use* her. Besides, she’s got a very sweet gig as Liv Moore (on a show that’s sooooo much more interesting that half of OUAT lately)

Just remembered this interview Lana & Sean did two weeks ago….they heavily teased that the OQ story wasn’t finished, but couldn’t say anything because it was a spoiler. This could definetly lend itself to the theory Season 7 will be in Wish Realm.

Please, everyone calm down. It was said in jest. Some people need to lighten up… Of course, HookedQueen is toxic just like many other ships on this show. Hook left Regina to be totured by Greg.

With Emma gone or missing, Regina and Hook could finally get together. Remember Hooked Queen? Now there’s a blast from the past!
HookedQueen….I haven’t thought of that ship in ages!!!! You guys remember how that was actually what we all initially thought would happen back in Season 2. Though I’m not sure how I feel personally about the ship given the “history”, Lana & Colin both teased that Regina & Hook slept together at least once in the past, so who knows.
