Sci-Fi Girl
ParticipantHere is one for Emma. It is not exactly clear at first, but there is a line in the middle that makes it unmistakable:
so rise swan, open your wings, put off your duckling guise
carry the maiden born to be queen over the rolling skiesThen this next verse becomes about how Emma came to Storybrook, to discover her true home and family:
shine bright starlight hold tight swift flight
home to the new-made nest
worries and maybes will not delay thee
lovers and friends await thee —And the recurring refrain in the chorus must tell of Emma’s role as savior, bringing back the happy endings. For where she has been, sorrow no longer visits:
and the lords of constant sorrow will not dare to look upon
the bonnie gardens of tomorrow that spring up where you have gone, amazonSo much to analyze here, so I will post the full song and lyrics, with further analysis after.

come home, knock at the gate, summon the guardian moon
though winter is nigh and the hour is late, she’ll open up for yououtside hard times, redlines, deadlines,
people you just can’t please
climbers and graspers, best-laid disasters —
we don’t make much of theserest your head my weary sister, lay your tireless body down
with your tears and tender whispers, we will turn the thirsty ground
and the lords of constant sorrow will not dare to march upon
the bonnie gardens of tomorrow that spring up where you have gone, amazonhard lie the hobbles and cuffs over the dreary day
but sage rhymes and oracle doves chisel the chains awaythough clever jesters clip your feathers
tether your pinions proud
prisons will open, bonds will be broken

Ok, detailed analysis.
come home, knock at the gate, summon the guardian moon
though winter is nigh and the hour is late, she'll open up for you"come home, knock at the gate" Emma arriving in Storybrook.
"guardian moon" = Granny? Giving Emma a room?outside hard times, redlines, deadlines,
people you just can't please
climbers and graspers, best-laid disasters —
we don't make much of theseHmm, "outside", so the old days as a bail bonds person?
rest your head my weary sister, lay your tireless body down
with your tears and tender whispers, we will turn the thirsty ground
and the lords of constant sorrow will not dare to march upon
the bonnie gardens of tomorrow that spring up where you have gone, amazonChorus, like I said before, savior job of bringing back the happy endings. But it's not an easy job! ????
hard lie the hobbles and cuffs over the dreary day
but sage rhymes and oracle doves chisel the chains away"Cuffs" = Sheriff Emma carrying handcuffs, a daily job.
And "Oracle doves" is clearly advice coming from Snow.though clever jesters clip your feathers
tether your pinions proud
prisons will open, bonds will be broken
daisies will dance in rounds"prisons will open", well Emma was in prison, but she didn't stay there!
rest your head my weary sister, lay your tireless body down
with your tears and tender whispers, we will turn the thirsty ground
and the lords of constant sorrow will not dare to look upon
the bonnie gardens of tomorrow that spring up where you have gone, amazonChorus again
so rise swan, open your wings, put off your duckling guise
carry the maiden born to be queen over the rolling skiesFrom ugly duckling, to Princess Emma!
shine bright starlight hold tight swift flight
home to the new-made nest
worries and maybes will not delay thee
lovers and friends await thee —Dove and Swan, of course home town is a nest! Filled with all the people who love Emma.
rest your head my weary sister, lay your tireless body down
with your tears and tender whispers we will turn the world around
for the lords of constant sorrow cannot bear to look upon
the golden gardens of tomorrow that spring up where you have gone, amazonAnd the chorus again.
Songs by Dave Carter always have a million layers of meaning, there is probably way more I haven’t even spotted!

ParticipantSorry, but Alice can’t be older than Ella. In 7×09, “One Little Tear”, Ella is already a teenager and those episode’s flashbacks take place before 7×07, “Eloise Gardener”, the episode in which Alice was born. Gothel was banished to the tower in 7×09 and escaped in 7×07.
Alice is technically a wish realm character as 7×21 Homecoming has explained (without explaining) that their world is a carbon copy of their ENTIRE world, not just the Enchanted Forest with the appearance of Peter Pan who was from Neverland and who died in February of 2013 in Storybrooke. The Peter Pan we saw was a Wish Realm Peter Pan from a Wish Realm Neverland. I have a post where I have touched on this and how Rapunzel’s story proves they’re from their world as their story was in Henry’s storybook in 7×09, but Gothel, is Wish Realm Gothel, not the real one from their world as her encounter with Nook in 7×07 proves it along with the revelation from Homecoming because if that wasn’t the case then the events in 6×10 would hold no validity as Nook was 31 years older than our Hook.
“Eloise Gardener” and “Knightfall“, (Possibly “One Little Tear” and the opening scene of “Sisterhood“.) all take place after the Evil Queen grants Emma’s wish but before Emma arrives in the the Wish Realm.
Yes her wish created the Wish Realm, which created 31 years worth of history AFTER the curse was going to be cast but wasn’t. The events of 7×09 One Little Tear ARE before the events of 7×07 Eloise Gardener, however, with the wish realm into play creating 31 years of history and with Ella 2.0, Drizzy, Ana and Rapunzel being from their world and not the wish realm and making them around Henry’s age then the only conclusions would be that Alice is not a wish realm character but from their world and she’s 10 years YOUNGER than our Henry and literally 28 years younger than Emma because then you’d factor in the 28 years being frozen in their world and Emma deciding to stay in Storybrooke, making time in their world to resume, also making time in the wish realm to resume, sending Nook to EF 2.0, then that could be a possibility, but as I’ve mentioned, with the Wish Realm being a copy of their entire world and Rapunzel 2.0’s story in Henry’s storybook and there being a copy of EVERYONE, then Alice 2.0, who’s a WISH REALM character as her father is also, and Ella 2.0 being from their world and the wish realm not “existing” until 6×10, on Emma’s 31st birthday, then yes, Alice can be older than Ella. However, with there being a Wish Ella, then that would make Wish Ella older than Alice 2.0 by 14 years, but of course this is just expounding on my theory of the location of EF 2.0 and the the origin of Gothel, if she is a Wish Realm version or a real one based on 7×07.

ParticipantEmma: Is it possible for someone to have the darkness, but use it for good, use it to protect people?
Merlin: Emma, don’t let those thoughts tempt you.
Emma: But is it true?
Merlin: Someday perhaps there will be a person who’s worthy to hold that much power and not let it burn through to darken their soul. But if we can wipe out the darkness, we’ll never have to ask that much of anyone. (cough RUMPLE cough)
