Oooo, thanks for the link! 😉
After reading the episode description for episode 20, I also think that August is Pinocchio. The fact that Geppetto searches for a way to save his own child at the same time he agrees to help save baby Emma fits the theory that it was Pinocchio who also got transported to our world as a 7-year-old boy and turned in the baby to police. I think the writers have been toying with us by putting the episode with Bae and Rumple (The Return) back to back with the next episode featuring Pinocchio called The Stranger. I still think Bae could be Peter Pan or a Lost Boy, but we won't see his back-story until season 2. Also, I think The Return talks about Bae's return to his father in FTL after a brief absence to fight in the Ogre Wars. From other interviews I've read by Robert Carlyle, we'll only see Bae in FTL, not SB.

jondavidcarroll, you are just as thorough as I am. 😆 The only problem is that the writers don’t have the rights to Peter Pan yet. The copyrights belong to a children’s hospital in London. Until they get permission from them to use Peter Pan, PP isn’t going to show up on OUAT any time soon. 😥
UGH. The writers are messing with our heads again! 😡
No, it was recently confirmed that the show can do Peter Pan. Here’s the link:

If Regina actually seduces David, SO HELP ME I WILL LOSE IT. Of all the plot twists to keep David and Mary Margaret apart….smh. But I have to wonder why the writers would even make the August- centric and Bae- centric episode the same episode unless there was a connection. Could they just be messing with us, or are we overthinking it and August is really Bae?
😮
(Insert cheering crowd)

But it says that we can expect it for season 2, so it still is not August, since we'll know who he is in this season (as Kitsis&Horowitz said in another interview).
Dam. Looking back you’re right, they look nothing alike so August could not be Pinocchio. 😕
you know what the writers could do, is introduce us to part of August’s back story, like a teaser and give us the rest sometime in season 2.
