Well after I made that joking post about doing a fan fic I’m crack at. I haven’t written a fanfic before and I really haven’t done any kind of writng that wasn’t for school in a long time. I’m about half way done but I’ll share it here once I’ve completed it

Found another character parallel. I address this in thewhich characters you hate thread?
I was re-watching some Hook clips from the finale this morning.
That moment when Bae goes after Hook on the Roger and then Bae ends it with, that Hook’s just like his father — it reminded me of when Henry said to Emma in Manhattan I think, that she is just like Regina because Regina lied to him all the time. Granted, Bae and Henry are kids (although Bae is a bit older than Henry when he said that to Hook) but they both see things in black and white. There is no gray.
Both Hook and Rumpel have a cause they believe so strongly; Hook, his revenge and Rumpel, finding his son. But I really think that time Bae was on the Roger, Hook would have given up his revenge for him. If Bae had given him a chance, which he flat out denied him. And Emma and Henry didn’t make up until much later after returning to Storybrooke.

And obis – that’s true, I never thought of that. It’s unbelievable how many parallels there are… 😀
Aaaand fellow shipmates, there is something I’d like to share with you. It is my first fanvid EVER and I did this with the free Movie Maker on Windows – which was really difficult, because it hasn’t got much effects or other things you can work with. I just had to use this song for our favourite couple, because I think it fits so well. I hope you like it.

I made my first fanvid with Windows Movie Maker too. It kept on crashing on me so many times but it backed up every time too, so I didn’t loose a lot of work.

Oh, I agree, some will be a bigger leap than others to pull off, but with the right scenario, just about anything could work out. I used the phrase by the book to mean Shang’s personality was Mr. Law and Order. I think you understood that, but just in case you didn’t, since you’re using the same phrase but in a different way.
It’s why I’m not “for” or “against” even ships we’ve seen a bit of, as things can change as storylines change and characters grow. Since they do have the True Love concept in the show, I feel safe (but maybe too safe that there’s not much to worry about) for Rumbelle and Snowing to never change and have the constancy of fairytale couples. Yet until we see a similar magical moment for another pair of characters, it is hard for me to put too much in the story unfolding in my head, lest the writers push a few walls around and the maze we’re being led through changes completely. I don’t think they’d dare split up Snowing or Rumbelle… Ok, so it is possible they might have someone die (I REALLY hope not though!!!!), but I cant see them splitting iconic couples up via other lovers- they already did that for a season with the curse 😉 ….. That is what I will choose to believe & if anyone comes up with reasons not to, I’ll simply stick my fingers in my ears & hum ‘this is a song that never ends’ 😆 😉
