Thanks POM!! For the life of me I could not get it to post.
@obisgirl we seriously need a scene with the Brotherhood of Badassery: Hook, Hood, Charming, Knave and Rumple tromping thru the woods with the snark flying
[adrotate group="5"]August 15, 2014 at 10:22 pm #280244surayyaParticipantWhilst both Neal AND Hook left Emma in a cell, I think Neal’s actions hurt Emma more because she loved him and trusted him whereas with Hook at that point in time, she kind of expected it since she left him at the top of the beanstalk and she wasn’t emotionally close to him.
Oh yes agreed, unfortunately the haters tend to use Hook leaving the girls in jail as an excuse for why CS can not happen/is unhealthy (but Neal was right having her sent to jail, because he had to for her own good o.O ) yet the outcomes of both men actions prove otherwise (which is what CS’ers have said all along).
Also did anyone think Hook’s apology to Belle was more genuine than Regina’s apology to Belle? Whilst Hook’s apology wasn’t exactly heartfelt (It was more of a sheepish I know I did wrong can we please move on from it now please) and Belle accepted it in a it’ll have to do because there are more important matters at hand kind of way, Hook did follow through and help Belle. Belle didn’t have anything Hook wanted, it wasn’t like she wasn’t going to help so there was no reason for Hook to apologise (although he absolutely should’ve apologised to her and I’m glad he did) what I mean is Belle’s help wasn’t dependent on Hook apologising.
Thats a really good point, I never thought about it before & I have to agree.
Question is, would Regina have apologised if she’d thought to use the candle in the first place?
Highly unlikely IMO.

That would be the most awesome scene ever 🙂

But this is just beyond sweet- he’s never called anyone sweetheart before *dies*. I really hope they use that line in the show 🙂
On a sadder note, I took a trip down the rabbit hole into tumbler land & see there’s another raging hate session going on by the haters, apparently Hook now is the poster child of portraying rape culture because he “grabs Emma’s arm” to stop her in the vid ….. *head desk*
Funny how the same argument hasnt been used to say Rumple, Charming, Neal, Emma, Snow, Regina, Graham etc. are all promoting rape culture … poor, sad, sad, little haters.

And if the haters actually watched the clip instead of judging on perhaps the gift I saw of it you can clearly hear the director calls ‘cut’ immediately after he grabbed her arm. So obviously they didn’t think it was right. They rehearsed Hook grabbing Emma’s arm with his hook then went back inside to get another take.
I’m getting sick to death of ignorant people spouting absolute bullocks about things they jump to conclusions to feed their hate campaign. :@If one is to engage with the primordial forces of darkness, one must expect a little social awkwardness
August 16, 2014 at 4:41 am #280254ladyParticipantThanks for the pretties gys.:D I really love the way they look at each other. They don’t have to kiss. You can see all emiotions and feelings in their eyes.
OUAT has so many actors with unbeliveable abily to act great scenes just with their facial expression.
I am not going to comment on the latest *rape culture* term misuse. It’ s getting ridiculous really.

He had no idea she made a deal with Anton to let him live, and he had very real reason to believe she left him to die. The important part of the scene, in that context, is that Hook is not only ‘you tried to kill me’ upset, but more importantly, he’s ‘you betrayed me when I wanted to help you’ upset. Because of the connection they made on the beanstalk. 2) I still don’t think for a second Hook believed he was leaving the girls in the jail cell to die. He knows the Dark One well, and I think he suspects the Dark One wasn’t really and truly trapped in there – ie, they could get out. The point of leaving her there is, he knows Emma already. He knows she’ll get out. Because he knows she can do it (contrast to Neal’s “you think you can do it?” comment about the watches.
Oh, the haters. They’re really scraping the bottom of the bowl with the whole ‘arm grabbing’ argument. Seriously, in your entire life, has no one ever tried to keep you from walking away from them? Really? Because if no one’s ever grabbed your arm like that or done something to the equivalent you’re either less than a year old or incredibly, incredibly sheltered. I grab my son on a daily basis – otherwise he’d have been hit by a car, set the house on fire, drowned in the bathtub or fallen off the couch! But I choose not to think about that – did you see the gif/video where he grabs her with the hook? Oh my…I don’t know why but that just gave me all the feels!

Yep, exactly, which is why I dont even bother discussing Hook’s motives over doing so anymore, instead I point out the outcome of his leaving her in jail (since the haters keep pointing it out) vs Neal leaving her in jail (since they wont see that as wrong/bad)- they have not as yet even bothered arguing the outcomes, because they cant lol
Oh, no I havent seen that particular gif yet! Can some link or post it here please? 🙂
