Okay, I was going to say something about how interesting the whole alien-hand-syndrome/curse theory would be, and then I saw that new EW snippet. It looks like Rumple and Killian definitely won’t be getting along (at least for a while), which as I said I’m fine with, and maybe even prefer. But then the writer adds “Let’s just hope Hook doesn’t steal another one of his wives”. Seriously? Women are not property that can just be “stolen”!
I’m sick of people acting like Rumple is the victim here, and I really hope it doesn’t come across that way on the show either. Was he wronged in that whole situation too? Of course–he shouldn’t have been left with the impression that his wife had been abducted by a bunch of pirates. But what he did was much, much worse.
[adrotate group="5"]That meta by the social worker was very interesting. It also raises some questions over Snow’s behaviour in season 3.
Emma has abandonment issues. She pushes people away to keep herself from getting hurt because she expects them to leave because she’s not lovable enough etc etc.
So Snow telling Emma in Neverland that the relationship they have is “not what I wanted” would be quite damaging to Emma. Snow just accepting that she won’t see Emma again (both in Neverland when it looked like Charming had to stay there forever and when undoing the dark curse sent them back to the EF) instead of at least trying to find a way made it look like she didn’t mind never seeing Emma again.
Snow only came back from the EF because they needed Emma’s “light magic”.
Emma was hunting for the WW with Charming when Snow calls and demands that he comes immediately to meet the midwife that will be delivering the new baby.
When you put Snow’s season 3 actions next to that meta it makes it look like Snow has given up on Emma. She wants a new baby because Emma can’t give her the relationship she wants. She’s willing to leave Emma forever if the opportunity presents itself. She only came back for Emma’s power rather than Emma herself. She demands Charming’s time to do things she wants when he’s doing important things with Emma. She’s now got a new baby that will give her the relationship she wants that she could never have with Emma.
It would appear Snow is constantly trying to jump ship on Emma.

Keeper of FelixYeah, there were moments I shook my head at Snow. Being the kind of Mom I am I would have reacted a TAAAD differently (heh) to some of the situations, but then I have never been, nor will be *Snow White* (loud snort).
The Echo Cave reveals were meant to be painful and expose a not so lovely element of their psyches. but the ladies truths were so much edgier than the men. I don’t begrudge Snow wanting another baby, or Emma wishing Neal dead.
Snow and Emma have both been, often, brutal realists.
Snow, however, did get a little hormonally pregnant- biatttchy at times. leaving Emma to flounder a bit emotionally. Even though Emma’s worst struggles have always been her internal ones and she sometimes fought off Snow as *mom* to the point of borderline cruelty… I mean, it really doesn’t matter how old your kids get, they are still your kids. Even though Snow had that large gap in there, she was handling the Mother/Daughter thing quite well up until the little bun in the oven was giving her aggravating moods. (not to mention brilliant moments of *duh*)
Snow was being emotionally brutal to Emma, as Emma was being emotionally brutal to Hook. Different core reasons, but still kinda mean 😛 Family mean-genes I guess.
However, I think all that changed during the finale when Emma realized, even with the abandonment issues, life would be even more painful if Snow hadn’t ever known her at all, and she put all those feelings together and realized that home was home, family, family… even with the aggravation. Especially when viewing Snow as a young woman, and not just a mom. Accepting your mother as a woman first, and your mom second, is an eye and heart opener.
Motherhood is never easily defined! For Snow, or Emma. Interesting to watch now that they are both *peers* in Storybrooke.
Regarding new *retro*-blame Hook for everything themes resurfacing. They still don’t matter. They are regurgitated delusions compared to what actually went down in the story. Old old and more old.
I’m ready for anything that gets thrown our way in relationships. What is the best in my eyes is that they will be developing these deeper relationships between the regular characters…and not just the flavor of the day sparkly-temps coming in for the half season. Rumple and Hook rumbling with each other is…good drama using great talent 🙂

I think I mentioned before how much I hated how the writers have written Snow’s character this past season.
She seriously needs to be taken down more than a notch.
On that article, I think the writer threw it in there to cause trouble. I think Gold knows that Hook has no romantic designs on Belle or any other female. Emma is it for him.
Adam, especially Eddy likes to be a troll when it comes to spoilers. Adam is no spoilers policy but Eddy is totally different. He’ll spill and then add something to create tension or drama.
Even though I wrote any annoyed response on tumblr, I’m not really worried.

I seriously hope we dont- I repeat dont, get another triangle (even though the 1st wasnt really a triangle), OQ has one of those going on atm & CS really doesnt need another (I HATE love Triangles with a passion)- this isnt days of our lives, so I really hope there’s push & pull between Killy & Will over something other than Emma.

One fan reported that Hook knocked Will out when the knave was trying to break into the Library – all roads lead to Gold and Belle it seems!
& why is Killy sleeping on a bench when he’s been sleeping at Granny’s????

o.k, I’m confused now, where on earth are people getting Hook has Rumple’s knife or is a holding a knife in general, from?[/Spoiler] I’ve been through/looked at (literately) 398 BTS photos of E04 & have yet to see Killy with a frigging [spoiler]knife of any kind!

I’ve been looking for the knife too and can’t find it. I think it was just something someone mentioned that they saw on set. But you’re right, how is no-one mentioning the broomstick!!!! So so intriguing. WTH does he have a broomstick?? Could it be Zelena’s?

Yeah, that made me blink, too. Maybe snarky Gold is offering Hook a new mode of transportation since Hook no longer has his ship at the dock. (Snork) and regarding the knife…speculation runs rampant as usual! Even though it would be deliciously perfect if Hook could control the real dagger. But apparently old hatred dies hard between these two, blackmail or no blackmail. With Belle believing she has the dagger, Gold will have to be watchful of how destructive his magic appears. It IS wickedly complicated. And Hook’s adjustment to life without his ship is going to be “verrrra roughhhh.” Emma better be good to him.
