I really dont think A&E would have ever made Emma make the choice of who lives & dies between Neal & Hook- that’d be just be another cruel blow she doesnt need IMO
Well she kind of did in the end with what @Epona posted. But true, it wasn’t a direct choice that if Neal died then Hook would live and vice-versa. She really couldn’t stop Neal dying though, he did seal his own fate and in the end he asked to be separated from his father.
I do actually feel sorry for Neal, especially that no-one will ever know it was him who sent the note to Hook to find Emma. I never understood why he didn’t sign his name to it (you know apart from the drama of letting the audience hang on ’til the last minute to find out about it ;))

As of today, we are at the 14 days mark — TWO WEEKS — until OUAT comes back. And the week before the premiere, we’re going to be flooded with interviews about what to expect in the premiere. There’s bound to be some Captain Swan goodness coming out of that.

You know what that reminded me? This season two quote Jen said in the Behind the Magic magazine.
“I think, ultimately, she is the product of true love, so genetically her makeup is going to want to find her own true love. Emma had a flame of hope for love with Graham and now, she definitely has it with Hook. The fact this picture brings it full circle now….the FEELS!!!
