I guess I can see how Hook could fit the definition, but we have yet to find out if he’s distressed by a terrible wrong he himself committed in the past, or if if that was in fact just Rumple killing his wife which put him over the edge.
I’m sure something happened in his past which meant he had to ‘grow up’ fast & fend for himself vigorously to have become a pirate captain in the 1st place (kind of makes me want to watch stardust again- De Niro gives Pirates everywhere hope of redemption lol 😉 😆 )- I just hope we get to see that story- even if Peter isn’t in it (or he turns out to be Peter 😕 )!

And I just pictured Hook in a saloon dress, heels, a wig and makeup… 😛

I have to admit when I see the parallels between Emma’s parents and Captain Swan, I do love the pairing.

I’d posted this in another thread, but it really needs to be in here too, since I’ve always paralleled Hook & Emma’s interactions with Charming & Snow’s & this is the Capitan Swan thread after all lol 😉

Here are the parallels so far:

How Hook & Emma meet, with Charming & Snow- Charming trapping the thief Snow in a net & forcing her to get back his ring, Emma trapping Hook & forcing him to get their ticket home.

Hook & Emma’s trip up the bean stalk & Charming & Snow’s forest walk to the Troll bridge- both Charming & Hook poked & prodded until Snow & Emma revealed something deep & meaningful about themselves.

Snow & Emma then both ditched their guy’s in order to carry out their own goals- Snow shoved Charming into the river & Emma chained Hook a wall up a beanstalk (much more effective). Then both guys turn back up help to the girls out & let them know they don’t do mindless killing of women (Charming with the Queens men, Hook with Auroras heart & throwing his fight with Emma).

Grr just had another one, but have lost it 😕

I’ll add to the list as I remember them or as others point them out (don’t see the point of starting a whole new thread for it when it fits this thread perfectly 😉 ).

Neal has a fiance! I didn't realise that CS would be happening so quickly. I thought that it wouldn't happen until next season at least. But looks like im wrong.
And it's not just because Neal has a finace that I'm happy. But it's that Neal doesn't care about Emma. Yes, he did go back for her to make sure that Rumple didn;t hurt her, but that's it. And that certainly doesn't make up for his wrongs. Only 3 people have actually fought for Emma and stayed by her -Snow, Charming and Hook. It's obvious that Neal doesn't love Emma because the way he acted last ep was not how you treat someone you love or cared about. I mean, he didn't even answer her when she said that she loved him! That's not love, that's just him being an loser. There are so many more reasons but it'll take way too long.

Also, even if Neal did leave his fiance for Emma, Emma/Neal won't happen because JMO said that Emma will NOT forgive Neal or ask him to be in her life romantically.

Anyway, I thought that I’d just spread the joy. Keep smiling because we’re in for one hell of a ride 😀

Also, while last ep was emotional for Emma, it is really good for us. Because we’ve already had Hook get his anger out on Rumple (I know that he tries to kill him next ep, but that was him acknowledging his pain, finally) and now we’ve had Emma face her past with Neal and pretty much throw away her pain (by throwing away her necklace). So now we can get to the good stuff where there will be so much CS scenes and maybe even a kiss 😉
