That whole scene was amazing! The look in his eyes the look in heres just wow! “This is not a contest Hook…” because you already one buddy! lol ok that’s just my take on it but idk I think Emma’s moved to a good place in her relationship with Neal and I think from all the things we’ve seen and heard she might be ready to move on with Hook.
I agree, SK. I actually really like the Emma/Neal/Henry relationship the way it currently is. They’re a mature, adult couple who maybe aren’t right for each other romantically, but that doesn’t stop them from being family. They share a son. They are and will always be family. I think to an extent Neal also knows that. And gosh darn, if they hadn’t been interrupted, I think Emma would’ve gone all girly on us and dropped into a dead faint!!
I think I need to stick to just posting in this thread forever. Anywhere else, there seems to be bad. It’s really sad. The forums used to be a fun, safe Oncer haven. But now? It feels like — repressive. So, how about we post our favorite CS lines from 3A and talk about them?
I agree with you to a degree. I venture out of here once in awhile but I don’t join in often. It seems like you really have to be careful of what and how you say stuff. It’s easier to not partake.
Sometimes you do. Chat can get out of control quickly, and I think it’s just because everyone is writing and it’s real time and you can’t always tell how serious someone might be. When it comes to chat, I think you just have to take a look and see who’s around and if you feel like it’s something that might get you started, or not a topic you’re particularly interested in (sorry RG, you all always lose me with the knitting! 🙂 ) you just don’t join in. What I like about chat is you get a lot of people who look at the show in a very different way than you might, and you can get some great thoughts and ideas from it. RG and MP have been trying like crazy to divert the conversation when it seems to be getting testy, but they can’t literally be in chat 24/7…I suppose they should be allowed to eat and sleep and potty SOMETIMES.
@Obisgirl – you summed it up! I like this game, good idea. 🙂[adrotate group="5"]Lately there’s been a better effort by most here to be accepting of everyone’s likes and dislikes. I often test the waters and basically see how happy I can act about things first lol. Most of the people on here are pretty understanding and even go into a little bit of ship talk with you. RG is a great mod but she’s also great just to talk about the show with. MP too, he’s cool to talk to as a non-shipper since I think we make a lot of great observations but we mix them in with some wishful thinking but when a non-shipper sees the same thing it’s “ok we’re not crazy” lol.
I really do enjoy reading all the different perspectives and RG and MP are doing a fantastic job trying to keep the peace. Love Day was nice.

And when have we seen that True Love is easy? I think that’s been the whole message since season one, that true love is never easy. And no one should just expect for true love to just happen for them because they deserve it or have had a difficult life. The universe in general does not work this way.

It took almost the ENTIRE hiatus but I finally like this exchange. (I hated the ‘good’ response at first, but many metas later I have seen the err of my ways!) I feel like this is Emma’s way of telling Hook to come get her. She knows by now Hook is…determined? Hi, planning revenge for 300 years! Regina has said they will all go back and the realms can’t be crossed and false hope is the last thing she’d want to give someone, but I think our girl knows by giving Hook even a bit of encouragement, he will find a way to her, regardless of what anyone says about crossing realms or how slight the chance is that it can be done. Sigh. Swoon. Sigh.
That’s our Han and Leia line! Oh so sweet!!!! And yes Love Day was a blast that screencap game was a hit! So much fun all the way around.
Yeah, at first I wasn’t sure about the whole “good” thing but the more I watched and thought about the more it grew on me. That one word and the look on her face was all the encouragement he needed. Plus she is an open book to him she didn’t need to say a whole big goodbye.
My favorite scene from Dark Hollow is when Hook, Neal and Emma are in Neal’s cave discussing how to capture the shadow and Emma looks to Hook for confirmation. Cracks me up every time.. like Hello Emma..Neal is still standing there you could ask him.. but no she looks to Hook for confirmation..

What’s also wonderful, it’s the first time Emma has acknowledged Hook’s feelings. Openly. This is huge for Emma because she was starting to accept Hook’s feelings for her and that she’s alright feeling something for him. This is also Emma Swan and she doesn’t believe in giving someone false hope.
Emma takes baby steps towards accepting love in her life. It started with Henry, then Mary Margaret and then her mother’s love and then her parents as a unit. But after dealing with the issues she has with her parents, she’s in prime position now to accept romantic love into her life.
