This is all goooood. Watched it spoiler free-And I enjoy these episodes so much more without all the baggage of hate/snark/whining that permeates the Internet chit chat about every line of script from some factions of the fandom. I will attempt to stay away from the negative ick and let the story tell itself.
Great episode. Moved quite fast and got a lot of ground covered. Made sense, mostly (grin) Some excellent one liners and visuals.
and it certainly appears from the promo that forward thinking lovers of all things Killian and Emma will get the wish of an unforced kiss from Emma to prove TLK! The best way. No ulterior motives of saving Henry. I am pretty sure the *lad* will tell Emma exactly how Hook stopped him from stealing the car and was in truth, trying to protect him. (Did anyone notice the oh-so-clever *Game of Thorns* sign in the background when Hook commandeered Henry? lol ) And by the way, about trust and keeping things from people? Emma has habitually practiced that little activity this season regarding Henry, so I don’t put much concern in that snippy little gem of her to …Killian.
Neal told Hook in the hospital *thanks for taking the message to Emma* so that made perfect sense, and well placed. We still have the answers about the fate of the Jolly Roger, etc. etc, to address. And, very lovely headstone for Neal…beloved son.

And Regina being the TLK to end the Dark Curse had quite the symmetry. Leaves the door wide open for that other smooch of true love (wink) being it’s own definitive happening!

Will go back & read all the new posts after I’ve feed out, but having just finished watching the ep- I’m really not sure what to think- not about CS- I half expected what happened to happen (its the obvious play there- Emma mistrusts him…again, something happens to endanger him & boom, Emma trust in him is back better than ever *sigh* Wish just this once Killy actually pointed out he couldnt tell her without immediately putting Henry in danger- Emma is a BIG hypocrite there- It should have been HENRY’S choice on whether or not he went back to SB- Not Emma’s…again *sigh*)… anyway back to the point- I have a problem with the whole one heart/no heart stuff-
1) I mean come on! Really?! So we were supposed to believe the Graham “felt nothing” in S1 because Regina had taken his heart, but now because it’s convenient we are supposed to believe he did feel, just not deeply- WTH? Plot device much!
2) & one heart? ….. last I looked “breaking” someones heart in half = destroying it- why could they have crushed Charming’s heart & knocked some of the ash back in if it only requires “crushing” a heart- very very convenient that now you can literally twist a heart in 2 without A) turning it to dust *lol* or B) killing someone.
I’m also going to be honest when I say this- ‘dark curse’ now = ‘stupid/ not that big of a deal curse’- what happened to the whole “your heart will be filled with an emptiness that cant be filled” outcome- UGH!
On another note we were right, we guess (or at least I know I said this is how it could go down), that the good guys cast the curse, but WW interfered which is why there’s no memories 🙂
Grrrr, may I say Charming is back to being a judgmental prat again- Snowing, you have your memories from now & before- you know Rumple & Bae shared a body & that Bae “woke up” on occasions (this is where Emma is included here), yet cant imagine “who would send Hook a message at all?!” Prince, Snow & savior stupid is more like it- gees!
How many more times does Hook have to haul their backsides outta the flames & play the role of Captain Obvious before they actually pull finger & cut him some slack- it’s getting old :/ They ALL better give him one hell of an apology when this is done! Because I’m sick to death of them using Hook as the goody to shoes whipping boy >:(

& Emma’s “I cant trust you now” comment- I know she’s still broken from stupid Neal & Walsh’s actions, but for crying out loud! She has been LEADING him on! Not the other way around- she’s the heart breaker here & she cant trust him? Not sure I get that line- other than A&E trying to appease the SF fans & slow down the inferno that is CS LOL :p
I hear ya surayya… my husband watched this week with me… i was a little embarrassed of the splitting of the heart scene. I felt like my creditability was zil… I’m always telling him to give it a chance that it’s a great show. I don’t think he will believe me after that.
Yes I was pretty annoyed with the scene where Emma is telling hook that she should have had the right to decide? hook was darned if he did and obviously darned when he didnt. He tried to solve the problem and keep Henry safe and got I don’t trust you for your effort. and charming totally threw his buddy under the bus. Oh back to Emma. she had Henry for a year. regardless of Regina as a mother Emma was going to make all those decisions too and not confer or even share her plan. She’s a little hypocritical. Hook could have just walked away. He doesn’t need to be there in the cross fire and risking his life… but he does it because they are his family… yet they all turned on him. It’s black and white when they want to judge but grey when convenient.

Anyone else almost to the point they actually want Hook to kind of “tell like it is” to the Charming’s (this includes Emma).
- How he had to give up being a pirate because of his love for Emma
- How he came back to a land without magic because he loves Emma & knows she’d want to be with her family
- How he gave up the JR (we assume) to get back to her, so she could save her parents
- How he loves her so deeply, he’d hoped they were TL
- How he has stuck around in a town with an evil green witch turning people into monkeys solely to help THEM all, because he loves Emma & cares about Henry- he gets NOTHING out of sticking around- aside from risking his own neck!
- How he couldnt tell Emma about the curse since WW said she’d feed Henry to her monkeys, yet nor could he kiss her & take away her magic- he could do nothing but hope she get strong enough fast enough to negate the threat to Henry if he told her.
- How he hasnt just ‘tried’, but has ‘actually’ proved (with actions) repeatedly to them all that he has changed, yet it isnt good enough for them.
- How Emma has broken his heart, yet he still believes in her & them.
- How they seem to be so keen to turn on him or believe the worst of him, yet he stupidly cant being himself to protect his own heart & leave them to their devices, as he cares to much what happens to them.
- & maybe just maybe have Killy actually ask what it will take for her to trust him, for them to trust him!
*sigh* I know it wont happen & he’s to much of a gentleman to get annoyed with them all at the unfairness of it all- sure Emma can forgive a totally selfish, cowardly act of Neal’s on her behalf, but Hook acting to actually protect Henry & keep him from harm…. that’s something to climb in his face about :/
We all know at this point A&E are simply leading us up to a big CS resolution/cannon couple moment in the next ep or 2- I cant see anything else that this weirdness could possibly lead us to. I know some CS fans are all upset with Emma right now (& loosing hope in CS happening), but I dont see it as totally OOC for her to over react (as stupid as it seems for them to go there given what Emma’s spent ALL of 3B to date doing herself) & that scene was at the end for a reason- to drive the angst to an all time high for next week. I actually see it making CS stronger tbh.
I just wish they weren’t using Killy as a whipping boy so much- he’s a grown man, he could stick up for himself once in a while- this is the 2nd or 3rd time he could have stopped unfair accusations in their tracks by spilling some home truths about what has actually happened- instead he holds his tongue & allows them to think the worst of him, because he thinks the worst of himself …. they need to give him a break- without him, Emma wouldnt be in SB, without him casting the curse was pointless, without him this whole season wouldnt be playing out lol- I hope his character gets a MASSIVE pay off before 3B is done- he seriously deserves it! Emma & Hook need to be EQUALS & right now, they arent :/

I just thought of the whole Emma/Regina/Henry thing as I hit submit & you are correct- which makes her even more of a hypocrite- she wasnt just willing to deny Henry the right to know & live/be with his legal parent, she was willing to ignore Regina’s rights & wishes as Henry’s mother- not cool.
I too loved it being Regina/Henry to break the curse- Regina needed that 😀 <3 I also loved the OQ stuff this ep (aside from the whole convenient you can now "feel" without a heart thing- when in the past it was you couldnt- even on WL, Will couldnt "feel" anything because he didnt have a heart). I wish they'd come up with another way to explain Regina "feeling" something for RH, it isnt cool to just spit in the face of all the reasoning of the previous explanations of why being heartless is "bad/tragic".
