It’s the story of course, of how these “bad” characters can become good that draws us in. They are so good at making us rethink things. Of course I do agree a little with Happy Endings that nothing will be happy and shiny for long. I can see Regina being upset that she doesn’t get to go out like a hero if Emma finds another way!

Entertainment Weekly did an interview with A&E on that specific ride too–so they’ve been there and seen it 😉

Henry confronting Tamara would be a Henry thing to do (brave but not well thought out at all, like the dynamite, or running off to Boston by himself…but he’s a kid after all. )

He said he wasn't sure if it was in the finale, but he obviously knows what he shot. So maybe it means he hasn't seen the finale cut and his part could be saved for next season opening for example.

He seems like such a mellow guy, but it must be tough doing these interviews knowing you don’t want to spoil anything for anyone, yet wanting to explain your vision of how you acted a scene. He often uses “I” when answering questions about Neal as if he’s just so into the character he blends that experience into himself. Actors approach the task all different ways (like Daniel Day Lewis is famous for method acting and never breaking character). Some just turn it off and on and have a clear separation in their mind between themselves and this character they play. So it doesn’t mean better or worse way of doing it, just how he seems to do it is internalizing it a lot, the better to get the emotion into it.

What if whoever is the head of the Home office is the same person that wrote Henry’s book?!?!

I wonder that too…and I threw out speculation that maybe Jefferson had crossed paths with the HO before. Maybe it could be his wife–that way we could see a picture of Grace & Jefferson on her desk even if we have never seen the actress before playing the unseen Boss.

I didn’t realize that there was a Chloe=Lois theory out there.

It lost steam as Lois began to be more reporter like, but it didn’t die out the moment Lois Lane was cast. My impression was most people pushing it really wanted Chloe to be happy, rather than thinking Clark would be unhappy without her. By the time of Chlollie it was probably pretty defunct as a fan movement.

I believe the writers did not originally intend for Chlollie to happen until they saw scenes of Chloe and Oliver and the possibility of a romance. I believe Justin Hartley and Allison Mack made a conscious decision to hint at a romance “

I agree. I think Mack directed one of the scenes that gave the biggest hint of it (shooting an arrow).

To pull it back to CS–I get the feeling fan interest in CS stems from people feeling they want Hook to be happy as Emma seems like she could (have) pair(ed) well with multiple characters. While there are fans who only see them as a matched set, like Snowing, I think Chlollie and Daniel/Vala are a good comparison. A relationship can be an awesome addition to a story whether or not it is originally part of the vision. After all A&E self-described themselves as “dudes” who almost killed off Charming in the pilot thinking that would be cool. That was their original vision but they got checked by the network execs on that.

I liked Daniel/Vala and Chloe/Oliver as well. I followed along the Chloe=Lois theory for awhile, but hopped off that wagon and didn’t like all the negativity about both the actress and character used for Lois, from some of those pushing that idea. But that’s fandom, people can get an idea in their minds. So I’m open to whatever they want to do on ONCE, and won’t ever ship anything so hard I have to close my mind to the story they are telling rather than what I thought they ought to do.

About Jmo’s hair–didn’t the show use a look like that on the Evil Queen?

Or turns him into it, and in that form he can leave NL for London?
