Pros
– The Emma and Elsa stuff. Best part of the episode.
– Charming and Anna interacting in the flashback.
– Charming and Hook having a chat about Emma.
– Elizabeth Mitchell’s entrance at the end.Mixed
– I actually didn’t hate Bo Peep. The character was ridiculous, but as others have said, that felt like the whole point. It was just the writers having fun with a one off villain. The idea of warlord Bo Peep reminded me of the Writers Room sketch we got this Summer, in regards to villains they joked around about adding.Cons
– Regina telling Henry to stay away. Even if she’s depressed about Robin Hood, it still felt out of left field.
– The Dwarfs being pushy with Snow. That also felt out of character, as did Snow’s outburst in response.Charming’s story about his father just seemed a bit off in general especially the part about how his parents fought all the time. I was under the impression in The Shepherd that Charming’s parents had a happy marriage and it was the secret of giving up James that drove the father to an early grave, not that he was an alcoholic.
Well, losing James might have been the cause of their father’s alcoholism.
I was going to say Yensid, but there are several pictures of a cart…like one that might be involved in a drinking accident.
I didn’t even notice the cart, but the house and pen looked very similar to the one we’ve seen on David’s farm. Hm, could my theory about how the death of David’s father really went down somewhat come to fruition?

Any theories on who the old man is?
I have two random guesses:
1) He’s Yensid. Old, has a long beard, and he is wearing robes of some sort.
2) David’s father. Some of the other photos look similar to Charming’s farm.Considering how much all the other shows that night dropped compared to last week, Once retained itself fairly well and had the highest non sports demo of the night.
Daniel suggested on the podcast last night that maybe Anna is actually trapped inside of the snowflake necklace.

Since I’m the other moderator, I’ll be happy to answer you. The sidebar chatroom’s been buggy all night, so it’s not just you. And according to Daniel, this chatroom expires on Tuesday, and we might be getting a new chatroom.
There was always so much potential with Emma and Elsa bonding together, since they’re both isolated people struggling with their magic. Glad to see it play it, and I hope it continues.
Here’s something that I don’t believe has been brought up, but Rumple killing Zelena as vengeance for Neal is actually history repeating itself. After all, Rumple killed Tamara for thinking she killed Neal, too. The main difference is there was no lying to Belle involved. However, Rumple still killed a defenseless woman, and one who was already dying. But of course that will never be brought up because none of the characters mourn Tamara, nor do the writers clearly care to say anything more about her. Heck, fans actually cheered Rumple on once he did that due to Tamara being a very unpopular character. Neal never even found out, and he was the one engaged to her.
