ParticipantRandom rant that has nothing to do with the actual show:
Who in the makeup department has a pet sugar glider, and WHY do they have a pet sugar glider? Those little possums are Aussie natives, and there’s a big black market trade for them as pets in other countries, so the couple of times I’ve seen pics of that sugar glider in the makeup trailer, it’s kinda made my blood boil!

ParticipantWasn’t there some previous interview where someone mentioned how there’d be RumBelle flashbacks in this ep? I remember thinking that if they were gonna go back to FTL flashbacks for them, then maybe their ep wouldn’t suck, because the FTL flashbacks are when RumBelle is typically well done. So to see them saying that it’ll be the best ep for them since Skin Deep makes me think even more that they’re gonna play up the FTL part of their story.

ParticipantI have a vague recollection that at some point in the past I really randomly speculated that Regina and Van Helsing would be a fun match. Can’t for the life of me remember what even happened to inspire me to speculate about that though.
Guess this settles the speculation that Regina would be half of the LGBT couple, considering how she referenced “him” and how she didn’t know yet who he’d be.

ParticipantMaybe it’s like a League of Villains lol
Well I mean, they’re already riffing on the multiverse thing, so you know they watched Legends to get ideas too. 😛
I do find it kind of hilarious that Adam had to spend his day clarifying who she isn’t, all because some online “journalist” threw a poorly chosen phrase into their article.

ParticipantBut when an overbearing mother wants her daughters to marry royalty, it’s really just all logistics. Like, I’m assuming a scenario where there’s a royal family who has a son whose family are wanting to find him a wife, and Drizella fits the criteria (right age, etc) for the kinda girl they’re shopping for and Tremaine is like, “Yes this is my chance to get my family married into royalty, THIS IS 100% GONNA HAPPEN.” But then Drizella objects because she’s a lesbian and therefore refuses to marry the dude. Tremaine will insist, so we know she’s evil. And then the random Prince will find out how unhappy Drizella is with the whole situation, and will help her escape it (maybe to Wonderland, where she meets and falls in love with Alice).

ParticipantI’m all for Henry getting to live out his own fairytale. But this setup (not just for Henry in particular, but how it extends to the whole new premise for the show with all the alternate characters) just feels so…clunky. Awkward. Forced. Urgh.
And did they really just do that with a bean portal? RLY? *facepalm*

ParticipantWell I’m gonna say that it’s gonna be Drizella, because if her mother wants all her daughters to marry Princes, one of her daughters being a lesbian would be problematic for her, which is in part what makes the mother evil.

ParticipantIt is not a multi verse theory though. This is a different individual whose name is also Cinderella.
What I’m saying is that they’re riffing on the multiverse theory, which other shows are doing (very well) right now. I’m not saying they’re doing it RIGHT, because as I said, the same characters with the same names should still have the same face, (like in Arrow, they killed Earth-1 Laurel Lance, who was a goodguy, and now they’ve brought in Earth-2 Laurel Lance, who is played by the same actress, but is a badguy). They’re ripping off the idea that’s been successful for other shows, and attempting their own version, but the logic of their version doesn’t make sense.

ParticipantVladimir Ruzich is very tall, dark, and very handsome like Colin O’Donoghue is, but I agree that he does have more of a Mr. Gold vibe about him (what with his tailored suit).
Earth-7 Hook ended up defeating his version of Rumple, and in doing so stole his magic (to restore his missing hand) and also his wardrobe.

ParticipantAssuming that Emma’s been turned to stone in her Bug, (which I’m pretty sure of, especially if they’re gonna have Henry unknowingly drive past that statue)
Yeah, they may use that statue story, but actually the real statue is equal to that one, that is not something created just to use on OUAT, that is a replica that has the same Troll and Car in Seatle, so is probably just something created to say that they are really in Seatle,
Yeah I know it’s a statue that’s actually in the real Seattle. But there would be MANY statues and other recognisable landmarks around Seattle that they could have recreated in order to make their version of Seattle look like the real thing. It’s not a coincidence that they happened to choose the statue of a troll and a VW Bug. In fact, I have to wonder if that statue (the real life one) is actually the reason they chose to set S7 in Seattle of all places. Like, someone in the writers’ room knew that this statue of a VW Bug trapped by a troll existed, and then they decided to build Emma’s fate around that, and as an extension of that, that’s why the story is now happening in Seattle.
