ParticipantMy theory is that after Bae leaves Neverland he’s transported to Oz, where he meets the Wizard. The Wizard, as we all know, is from Kansas and a con man who has no magical abilities even though the people of Oz think otherwise. We also know that the Wizard eventually returns to his world via the Balloon that Dorothy misses. I’m thinking that while he’s in Oz, and it can be a short period and give us a chance to see an older Dylan or even just revealed in dialogue, that Bae learns con man ways from the Wizard. Then they return together in the balloon to our world and Bae takes up his survival thieving/con man ways and transforms into Neal Cassidy. Ta da!
The idea that Bae had a stop in Oz has been floating around for a while, and I’ve never really been on board. The reason I’m just not sure about it is I’ve figured that Pan let Bae go, and he wanted him in our world, so why would he end up in Oz instead? It’s certainly true that if he DID end up in Oz, and if it was around the time of the Wizard leaving in his balloon, then Bae could have hitched a ride and that’s how he ended up in our world and that could be a cool way to tie the Oz story in. Though, if in the Onceiverse, the story is still the same in that Dorothy missed the balloon and then used the slippers instead, and if that particular slippers event is what Jefferson was referring to, then the Wizard left Oz before Regina even became the EQ, and we’ve previously figured out that Bae didn’t leave NL until after the Curse was cast. So I dunno if it’d be able to fit with the t-word?
Anyway, as for how Bae became Neal, I don’t find it unbelievable at all. Bae lived poor in FTL, had to scrape together enough to be able to survive, same deal when he was homeless on the streets of Victorian London only now he was doing it on his own, and then he managed to survive for a couple of centuries in NL, which involved him having enough wits to make and/or steal enough stuff to set up his home in the cave. After all that life experience, I don’t think he needed any tuition from the Wizard in order to have made his way in our world. It’s not like he was a super successful master con man in our world anyway. He was living on the streets and had the goods from his one major crime stashed away somewhere he couldn’t even get to it in order to be able to reap the payoff. He excelled as a petty thief, but kinda failed when it came to big stakes crime. I’d expect more from him if he’d been the student of a master conman.

ParticipantI keep going back and forth about where Lumiere will be. If it’s Young!Belle then they aren’t using a younger actress but an aged-down Emilie. But that gets tricky with actors, though Emilie looks much younger than her 30yr old self anyway. So that leads me to believe that Lumiere is probably in the Dark One’s castle in the past. Which is odd because Belle said to Rumple in Skin Deep, “I think you were lonely.”
If they wanted to show Belle in her late teens, they’d still use Emilie. Part of me really hopes that Lumiere wasn’t in the Dark Castle while Belle was there, because it’d feel like a retcon. She was supposed to be the only one there with Rumple.
I was hoping that Lumiere is seen after the current curse sends everyone back to Enchanted Forest. I would love to see Belle back in what’s left of Rumple’s rather large estate. As she cleans Rumple’s things, still mourning him, she comes across his candelabra. As Belle polishes it, and lights it, suddenly, Lumiere is released and returns to human form. He reminds Belle that Rumple loves her, and gives her the news that Rumple is alive. Lumiere tells Belle that he can help her find him.
I like this, good idea!
Lumiere couldn’t potentially be a Merry Man in present day, could he? Like, he’d been trapped in the candelabra when the Curse hit, but then he was freed and Robin found him?

ParticipantSomething that randomly popped into my head when I was trying to get to sleep just now, and it made me get out of bed to post it and get it out of my head or I’ll never get to sleep.
Anyway…

Is that water? And the WW’s blood? Because the WW and water aren’t supposed to be able to mix. Has she figured out a way to circumvent the whole melting thing? Or is she mixing them because it’s a volatile combo and she’s gonna do something destructive with the bottle’s contents?Phee

ParticipantLooking at his imdb page, I’ve probably seen him in several things over the years.

ParticipantI used to have this headcanon that Hook would officiate, (because Captains can marry people, and neither Emma or Neal are churchy types, so wouldn’t necessarily want a religious ceremony). Dunno that I think that any more though.
I could see them eloping, like Snow and Charming essentially did, and then Snow will be all, “Oh no, young lady, we did the same thing but still had the big, public wedding too, so you’re not getting out of all the pomp and ceremony that easily.” 😛

ParticipantNope, no confirmation, just Eion saying Pinocchio should be back.
Just went to check youtube to see if any vid of him mentioning it had been uploaded and didn’t find anything. This vid of him answering another question is pretty funny (in an eerie foreshadowy kinda way)…
