ParticipantWell when they were filming the Rapunzel episode they said that there was somebody else(a male) filming with them which they would not say whom it was. Likely in this scenario that means the character was Gorhams character. They didn’t want to reveal that it was him.
There was another actor in that ep, who we’re guessing is Rapunzel’s father, due to the actor’s age. The tweets sent about the new male character included this one…
@ElizabethKlein_ yep guy! Not that young, dont think so.

The guy we think is Rapunzel’s father is “not that young”. https://twitter.com/TheActorEverick[adrotate group="5"]Phee
ParticipantMy theory is that this writer is as confused as we are. That story makes no sense.
That’s what I’m inclined to think as well. You’d think that a site like TV Guide would fact check stuff but, “Regina let Henry destroy the town,” um no. And they refer to “Wicked Witch of the West” but Matt Mitovitch, who does tend to actually know his stuff, very recently said that she’s only known as “Wicked Witch” not necessarily “of the West.” And unless Gorham snuck back into town and no one saw him, he wasn’t in the Rapunzel ep.

ParticipantQuick question are you guys seeing my post?
Yes, I did, and you made some excellent points! 🙂
“So for us it’s how do two people who love each other come together when there’s so much hurt?” – Eddy (from the Second Star To The Right podcast)
Pretty much Eddy telling us that we will get some pain in Swanfire but once they are all reunited in love their would be joy.
Yep. Between comments like this from the writers and comments in show about SF still each loving the other, it baffles me a bit whenever someone suggests that there’s no hope for them
It also reminds me of the time when she refer to Gold as her dad! Just like Neal and Emma said this little guy saved us to her fake pregnancy. Sentences like that are not just tossed in for no reason. I think it was little bit of foreshadowing by the writers. Perhaps some day Rumple will be a father law to Emma. And we already know Henry is saving his family and help bring them together!
I’ve always thought that the line about him being her father was hilariously perfect foreshadowing. And “the little guy saved us,” had to have been deliberate too IMO.
Another thing I notice during the dinner, Snowing was at the dinner, Rumbelle was at the dinner, Hook was sort of with Tink, Henry was with Regina. Emma and Neal were both alone. Neal in booth twiddling with his coffee mug and Emma at the beach fiddling with her phone. It makes me go hmmm.
Yeah it’s rather interesting how they set that sequence up, with Emma and Neal being the loners.
Well I really hated all the NL stuff in 3×7 but I did like how respectful Neal was. He thanked Hook for coming along to Dark Hollow; he apologized to Emma twice about the teenage boy angst.
And he and Emma sat side by side while even after the cave stuff. Comfortable with each other after all this time.
Yes and yes! Despite the brief lapse in maturity in Dark Hollow, Neal did the right thing and apologised for it. And I really loved how close they were sitting in the campsite. Emma could have been sitting anywhere, but she was sitting so close to Neal that they were practically in each other’s laps. Goes to show that despite the less than fluffy things said in the cave, they’re still fine with being close to each other, because they have the type of relationship where they can be brutally honest, without fear of it damaging their connection.

ParticipantIf the good guys were behind this, they’d have sent either Regina or Neal. If the bad guys are behind it, they could have sent ANYONE. Which is what’s happening.
I think they couldn’t send Regina, because she’s not allowed to be near Henry. That was the price she had to pay due to the Curse, and her going to knock on their door would violate that and who knows what could happen. I also wonder if that might have something to do with WW recreating SB, if she wants to screw with Regina, having her so close and yet so far from Henry would drive her insane, and we do see her throwing something in the promo, so she’s getting angry about something or other.
I think they couldn’t send Neal because of two potential reasons. 1) Now that Emma has no memories of having met him again, she may well be back to being really angry at him for having left her, and if their reunion went like their Manhattan reunion did, he’d have just got the door slammed in his face and she wouldn’t want to listen to him, so it’s useless to send him. 2) In the promo, he could be the one on the gurney and is who Hook is referring to when he says her family is in trouble, (relationship or not, Neal qualifies as Emma’s family because of Henry).
I think they couldn’t send Snow because she may well be heavily pregnant by now, because it’s been a year, and it’d mean they wouldn’t have to keep trying to constantly hide Ginny’s rapidly expanding bump.
I think Charming didn’t go because 1) if Snow’s heavily pregnant he’s not gonna leave her and/or 2) He’s probably the one in charge of everyone, so has stuff to do.
Also, Snow and Charming are both Emma’s family too, so they may be in some situation that prevented them from going if her family is in trouble.
So I actually think that Hook is a believable choice for the person who went to find her if it was a situation where they all decided that someone needed to go and bring Emma back.
I think Hook left from a reinstated SB, not FTL, to go to NYC. He’s wearing the red vest and the hook in the FTL stuff, and in NYC he’s in all black with the fake hand. We don’t see enough of him in the hospital scene to tell what he’s wearing, but my money is on it being all black. If the flashbacks for the rest of this season will potentially be showing the intervening year in FTL, I think that’s why Hook’s in the red vest for that stuff. All the other characters look drastically different and the vest is really the only point of difference they could do for Hook’s costume. So I think that him being in all black in NYC means that he came from SB, after the hospital scene. Does he even have a fake hand with him in FTL, or is that just a thing he got in SB? Doesn’t seem like a thing he’d have bothered having at all in his pre-SB days.

ParticipantAfter seeing where 311 ended, I’d officially given up on the aged-Henry theory. Good to have it more or less confirmed though, so I’m glad they picked your question, RG.

ParticipantThere was so much to love about 306!!!! Think I’d list the HUG as my fave moment though, because it came immediately after her emotionally loaded confession, and there was NO hesitation from him. A few moments before that, he’d said she could tell him anything, and she told him everything, and his instinct was to immediately hug her to let her know that it’s OK to feel what she feels and she can be honest with him without fear of judgement, because he just wants to support her.
I wonder if the writers were specifically avoiding opportunities for an Emma/Neal kiss. There wasn’t even an innocent kiss on the cheek as they said goodbye. I agree with the people who believe that when a kiss does happen it will be epic and a clear demonstration of true love. Maybe it will bring back Emma and Neal’s happy smiles, too.
Oh they’ve totally been deliberately avoiding writing a kiss situation for them. As soon as it happens, they’ll be confirmed as a TL couple, so the writers are having some fun making it hard for them and messing with the audience while they still can. That’s the purpose of the triangle, to be another obstacle for them because it adds to the awkwardness of how they interact, and so the writers can draw out their reunion and avoid that kiss situation a bit more.
I’d love it if when the kiss does happen, it doesn’t get spoiled in the promo or sneak peeks. I say this as someone who lives for spoilers, but I’d love it if none of us knew that kiss was coming until we actually saw the ep and then *BOOM* (that’s the sound of thousands of SFers simultaneously falling to the floor).

I feel like that might be the actual ship motto for SwanFire.
😆 We’re such a bunch of masochists. Seriously though, all this angst in the build up is gonna make it even better when these two punks finally get back together. Their next kiss scene will probably have me on the floor due to the overwhelming FEELS ATTACK.
Was just catching up on some tumblr posts and saw that Schmacky speculated that perhaps 322 could be titled Leap Of Faith, because it’s another Springsteen song title and it’s a theme that was introduced in 301. If that theme translates into Emma taking a leap of faith with Neal in the season finale, it would be perfect.

ParticipantRG, that post is so on point!
3.5 I think the moment for me was Emma connecting with Neal about losing hope in the cave.
Her realisation that they had both experienced the same thing as children, and that he’s always understood her more than she even knew. I love that the writers continued to build on their connection, even during the time when she didn’t even know that he was alive.

ParticipantI don’t see any other ideas as to what she is holding. I know it isn’t a scroll, I don’t think it is a map of Tennessee how they would awake Emma and me a “In a shock moment” doesn’t fly with me either.
Tallahassee, not Tennessee. And I don’t think that what she’s holding will bring back her memories, that’s what the blue bottle of potion is for. I think whatever she’s looking at, in conjunction with the dream catcher, will convince her that she should trust Hook, because he’s not just talking nonsense and some weirdo trying to get her to drink a bottle of something that could be drugged. He has the blue bottle in the park when he’s arrested, and it seems that Emma drinks from it on the steps of the police station after Hook is released. He’s likely arrested because he was harassing Emma in the park, and he’s likely released because she dropped the charges. Which means that somewhere in between there, something happened that caused her to think she could trust what he was trying to tell her. I think it makes logical sense that that “something” could be her going to Neal’s apartment, having been given the address by Hook before he was arrested, and seeing things that prove that Hook does have a connection to someone she knows.
