How would a photo of Snow have a “That’s not possible,” affect on Emma, if Emma can’t remember ever having met her?
Emma would wonder who she is and why they took a photo together it would help job her memories.
In that circumstance, I’d expect Emma to react with, “Who the freak is that woman and why is she in a photo with me and my son?” as opposed to, “OMG I totally recognise this, there’s something weird going on.” Her reaction in the promo was the latter IMO.

When Emma and Henry were leaving SB where did they go Emma gave her place up in Boston so they couldn’t go there so if Regina set Emma up in an apt or how did that work?
Plus how did Henry go to school without records from SB?It’s magic!
I will actually be pretty upset if Michael loses his job over all this because I don’t think what he did is a fire-able offense
If Coleman looses his job over this, I’ll be pretty irate. And nothing will convince me “it was planned all along”
In the regular world, it’s not a fire-able offence. In the world of TV show actors causing upset amongst a large part of the fanbase on social media, perhaps the powers that be might think it is, and use him as an example to make sure no other cast members do the same thing in future. Or maybe they won’t be that concerned because he’s only a minor character anyway, so they’ll give him a slap on the wrist and keep him on as a part of the cast for his usual, occasional appearance. I’m just suspicious because of how he’s erased all reference of playing Happy from his Twitter page.
Moreso than a LOST Easter Egg, I think having him say, “he’s not dead, he’s just lost,” is foreshadowing for what will be happening to Rumple himself in the stabbing scene.
I don’t think a Rumbelle baby will happen until the very end of the show, if it happens at all. Just like Adam and Eddy have implied that a Rumbelle wedding and having them live happily ever after would spell the end of the show, a baby would be part of that. I could see Belle finding out in the last episode ever that she’s pregnant, and there could be a lovely moment where Rumple has hope for the stable family unit that fell apart on him last time. It would bookend the entire show nicely, because it began with the casting of the Curse that he needed to try and reconcile with his child, and it would end with his hope for a better relationship with his next child, having learned from all the mistakes of his first shot at it, which we’ve seen play out over the course of the show.
Also, they’ll almost certainly write the Gosh pregnancy into the show and give Snowing a baby, and two babies within a season of each other would be overkill.
I don’t know if I have a favorite SF moment from 305, it as my least favorite episode of the season so far. But I think if I had to pick it was actually the CS kiss. for me personally it wasn’t romantic or sweet or beautiful. It was a challenge and not the kiss of two people who really love each other. It was proof, for me, that Emma may think Hook is hot and acknowledges that they have chemistry, but in the end it and he meant very little to her.
That moment works for me too and I totally agree with you. I couldn’t think of anything in that episode either and it’s also my least favorite of S3 so far which made it that much harder to pick something.
It’s sort of ironic that we could consider that moment a good one for SF, but I actually agree. The circumstances of it didn’t paint it as a particularly romantic gesture IMO. It was like a game of truth or dare, and Emma took the dare to play him at his own game. The whole situation and mood of that kiss (and then how she reacted about it in future eps) sorta sealed it for me that she’s not actually feeling anything too deep and meaningful for him. Emma Swan doesn’t give away deep and meaningful anything that quick and easy. We know she’s got a history of one night stands though, so a “one time thing” tension release kiss is in character for her.
I just don’t think it’s the right size to be a photo. It looks like the ends of whatever it is fit inside her fists, so it’s only a couple inches wide at most, and it’s several inches long. Unless it’s a panoramic photo, the dimensions simply aren’t right for it to be a photo.
If she is in Neal’s apartment, and it is something from their past, it would have to be something we would recognise as well, otherwise it’s too random for them to include it. They didn’t have many things though, so the only thing I could think that it could be is if he’d cut a strip out of the map, the part that had Tallahassee on it. That idea might be a bit far fetched, but on the other hand, this is gonna be another ep named after a city, (and we’re also seeing the dream catcher from the same scene the map was in), so part of the map might actually be a fitting prop.
Neal and Tamara would not mean much to Emma, nor even young Neal and Emma,unless her memory erased him and how she got that car.
Far as we know, her memories were only changed from the birth of Henry and beyond. So she still remembers everything about her old life with Neal. If Hook’s trying to get her to believe him, then pointing her in the direction of something from her past that he couldn’t possibly know about would be a way to prove to her that he’s legit. The only people who know details about Emma’s old life with Neal, are Emma and Neal, because it’s not like they used to mingle and associate with other people who got to know them and their stories of their life together. So it’s not like Hook could plant these things to mess with her, he must actually know Neal.
It looks like the curse scroll to me, but idk why that would have any effect on Emma. A picture of she and the family would make sense, but idk if she ever took one. Unless it were one of Henry with Regina….
I think it could possibly be something else she finds in Neal’s apartment when she’s there and sees the dream catcher. After seeing the dream catcher, she picks up something else that she also recognises as being from their time together, and her “That’s not possible” is because one thing (the dream catcher) could have been coincidence, but two things is more like proof that this random address Hook gave her is actually Neal’s place, which means he knows Neal, so maybe the rest of what he’s saying is true too. It’s not exactly conclusive, and is sorta hard to see because the shot is so dark, but I lightened it up a bit, and it looks to me like that moulding that’s behind Emma’s head could possibly be the doorway through to Neal’s bedroom from the living area.
Also, again, I know it’s dark because the underside of whatever she’s holding is in shadow, but the Curse scroll had gold detailing on it, and there’s no hint of that in this shot, so I doubt that’s what it is.I wished I kept that link that Phee provide in chat on that photo of Emma holding something.

Could it be any clearer? Adam and Eddy are just having their “fun” teasing us with CS all the while keeping Emma and Neal apart, just like they do to most other couples who truly love each other (e.g. Snow and Charming, Rumple and Belle, Aurora and Philip)!
Indeed, that quote does seem pretty straight forward. And it’s not like it was just randomly chosen words in the interview, because we’ve seen Emma saying (multiple times) in the show since then that she loves him.
This thread is giving me a whole new perspective, and offering me a new vision of the Neal Emma relationship.

In short, I’m just rooting for Emma.
I think in the end members of both ships are doing that. We all ship Emma with happiness cause the girl deserves it. It’s just that we have a different view on what that means for her.
And for those firmly entrenched in a certain way of viewing Emma’s character, it’s gonna take some seriously creative writing to make us believe it if the opposing ship is the way they decide to take it. Lucky people like Cinders who are in the middle will just be able to go with the flow and enjoy it whatever the story ends up being.
