Hm that could be interesting–same curse, different reason to cast it–but perhaps WWW originally wrote that curse to get to Dorothy but Regina obtained it (guided no doubt by Rumple to do so) and that is why WWW wants revenge on Regina for stealing her curse. Remember Malecificent said, whoever wrote it made them look positively moral.

Nice idea! We don’t know exactly when Rumple got wind of the Curse, (he knew for a long time that there would be one, and someone other than him would cast it, but we don’t know exactly how and when he discovered the actual Curse). Maybe after Dorothy took off with the slippers, WW started building this Curse to get to the world that Dorothy had gone to, and then Rumple snatched it, or sent Regina to snatch it for him.

Henry wouldn’t be the first or last kid character that went from a central position to being permanently off-screened for various reasons, like growing up.

I reckon part of the reason they found a way to do a full year time jump is because they do want to keep Henry, and had to get the character caught up in age to Jared. As it is now, as long as they’re not stuck in any timeless lands, and as long as the present day t-word isn’t overly condensed (like how S2 only played out over a couple of months), Jared’s continued aging shouldn’t be a problem.

I posted this somewhere yesterday (might have been in the chat) but perhaps WW had been looking for a way to get to our world so she can get her revenge on Dorothy, and her reinstating SB somehow is her way of getting here?

However, following the links did lead me to a quote I let myself forget about, which was my least favorite quote from Robbie Kay.

“You are going to see a change in the relationship in the mid-season finale,” Kay revealed recently. “So they will touch upon that and it will be very interesting to see where they go from there in terms of their relationship as the season progresses.”

As the season progresses I had hoped NOT to see Peter Pan. If that whole dramatic scene with Rumple killing Peter/Malcolm leads to them BOTH being alive, I’m not sure I’m going to like it. Personally I thought that was the most dramatic scene of the entire series and I’d hate to see it mean nothing.

I really doubt that Pan is still alive, (I do hope we see him in more flashbacks at some point though). At the time Robbie said that, he wouldn’t have wanted to spoil that he was gonna get stabbed, so instead he implied he’d still be around to throw people off.

It would surprise me if they don’t have a firm grasp on their own t-word, because they’ve probably got that thing planned out in minute detail. The problem is likely that they understand the grand scope of the t-word (and everything else to do with the mythology) much better than the viewers do. We have to fill in bits and pieces as we get them, whereas the writers might assume that something makes sense because of something else they already know, but the audience doesn’t. Just a few tweaks in dialogue here and there could clear it up and convey things better.

With Snow, have her say, “I don’t even know if I’ll remember who I am when I’m sent to this new world, but even if I do, how will I be able to convince her?”

With Hook, have him say, “I don’t care how many countless years we’ve been stuck here, I’m determined to find a way.”

At least this time when Adam was engaging with someone on Twitter, it wasn’t a bitter, snarky type conversation, and it ended like this…

@OUATES as I said. We're not perfect ! But we do our best !

    @OUATES yep!

So maybe it’s something he’ll take on board and they’ll consider their choice of dialogue a bit more carefully in future?

Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.
    Ann Landers

Ann Landers was a famous advice columnist. That quote needs a pretty GIF set but I’ll leave it to the talented people to try that stuff :P .

Wish I knew how to make gifs, because that gifset NEEDS to be made! Such a perfect quote for SF!

Also, what struck out at me was the Swanfirefamily all separated took leaps of faith. Neal, Emma, and Henry, that was amazing SwanfireFamily moment, show how that family is connected even though they are apart.

YES! This needs a gifset too, if there isn’t already one.

These made me laugh out loud. From Tumblr

Those were funny, but that first one says it all, really.

I could use some help from you guys. I got a new phone over the weekend and while I have my old SwanFire pic as the background for now, it’s really not proportional to the actual phone so it looks kind of bizarre since you can’t see the entire picture.

What kinda phone? Trick is to get something with the right ratio of dimensions to fit your screen size.

My favorite 303 moment was a tie between Neal hitching a ride on the shadow to Neverland and also the moment when he ran into Felix there and after knocking him out, told him that he wasn’t a boy anymore and he sure has heck wasn’t lost. That showed me that this man is SO ready and willing to fight for his family no matter who he has to go through or what it’s going to take (within reason of course because he is still Neal!)…he was determined to find a way to save them. There was a purpose and a passion in his eyes that we hadn’t really seen much of up to that point and I loved seeing him be so determined and adamant about being there for his family. 😀

Loved that! He was a man on a mission, and he was gonna go find and save the people he loves.

Ranisha requested some family photos and so I have done some family manips myself I hope they are ok 🙂

Those are really cool! Great work. 🙂

An essay full of reasons why I love him and find him a genuinely rootable

*giggling because “rootable” means something different here, and yes, yes I do find him genuinely rootable* 😉

*hauling mind out of the gutter to appreciate the essay*

I felt like cheering the whole way through reading it, because YES, ALL OF THAT!

Hit after hit after hit, he suffers loss and betrayal and abandonment and hurt and is almost always left alone to fend for himself. Sometimes it gets to be so much that he almost gives up- he stops counting the days, he doesn’t believe he will ever be forgiven, he accepts his imminent death- but somehow he always bounces back. Somehow, he always takes what he is given and finds strength and continues on. Somehow, he learns from his mistakes and from his experiences and he pushes forward. Somehow, he finds the way out of the places he’s trapped in. Somehow, he makes it to the next day. Somehow, he can watch his father be ripped away right in front of him and minutes later learn that he is going to lose the other two people who mean the world from him and still put on a brave face and say that it’s okay and that he’ll see them again. Somehow, he knows it’s never over. Somehow, he never gives up hope.

And that’s why I have absolute confidence that they WILL give him his happy ending. And there’s only one person who they’ve written with the potential to be that happy ending.

However, International Business Times reports that she will not be the only scoundrel to attack the magical land, but a new evil queen will also make her mark on the town as well.

I went to read that article they linked to, and unless I blinked and missed it, see no mention of a “new evil queen”, so what on earth are they talking about? It does include the statements, “Emma, is taken back to New York, where she lived before she broke Regina’s original curse in Storybrooke,” (ummm, no) and, “Snow White and Prince Charming will be back in the Enchanted Forest with no memory of a child,” (ummmm, also no), so yeah, not exactly a reliable source they’re working with there.

This article is a very bad version of telephone tree. One writer rewording what another writer wrote about a third writer’s speculations.

    Yep.

because the writers love to show Neal looking upset

    True dat!

Excellent point about the crystal ball being a tie to WW, so it means we’re likely to see it again. As for the dream catcher, my super shippy daydreams aside, I think its most likely role is simply that it will prove to Emma that Hook isn’t some crazy man talking crap. As she’s having him arrested in that park scene, he’ll probably blurt out Neal’s address & tell her to go there for proof that he knows Neal & the rest of her family too, and the dream catcher will confirm it for her and after that she’ll be willing to believe Hook.
